Great people prices and service!

People are nice and friendly and the rock quality is good, but the actual service is disappointing at best and disastrous at worst. We placed order for rocks on Thursday for pickup on Saturday at about 1030am because we had grandkids coming into town from San Diego to fix rocks in our yard. We were told order would be ready when shop opened at 630am. Yep, you guessed it, we arrived at 1030am with our grandkids to load up their truck and we were told the order would not be ready for pickup until 230pm because our order was much smaller and we were told it was a lower priority. Wow!!Also, the prepared rocks are at least 10% sand, which makes distributing the rocks in the yard a lot more work!! The rocks are great, the bagging substandard.

Bad costumer service!

In town for an event and this place caught our eye. Wow. We were very impressed first of all with the staff and the knowledge they have. Each question was answered and they were all very friendly. Although we did not buy any items on this visit we feel like we now have a “person” in the business that we can ask questions to. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before we make our final decisions and this will be the place we go. .

Southwest Boulder is definately set up for both the homeowner and the contractor. The times I have gone the customer service was well above average, the only downside is that you will be paying a slightly higher price. The crushed granite is a better, cleaner cut than the other stores in my opinion, more options and less soil mixed in with product.

One of the best Southwest locations. I would know, I deliver rock to all of them. The office personal are very helpful, understanding and patient while the loading / unloading crew are efficient and prompt. Its not easy for either to deal with customers and delivery drivers at the same time but these guys and gals do all well.
