This location takes a long time for service. Regardless of day or number of staff. Simple service such as oil change can take all day. Had an appointment for 12:30, is currently 3:14 car has still not been looked at.

Very disappointed with them...On the oil change before last my car started leaking oil. I told them about it. They said the oil pan was bad. I knew oil pan was fine when I took it there. They wanted me to pay to fix it.I told them that the pan was damaged there to please fix it. They finally agreed to fix it. I personally spoke to Chris, he said ok, that they would fix but that he needed to order the part to bring it back the next day. I took it back the next day, left the vehicle there all day, I picked up the vehiclea round closing time. went home and the next day the pan shield was dragging on the floor. They did not properly tighten it. When I took it back the next day I was told by Rodney that the oil pan was not changed and that now the shield was broken and needed to be replaced as well. I was lied to and am very disappointed . Going to take back tomorrow hopefully they will actually change the pan this time.

Ordered my tires through them and when I showed up for my appointment they didn’t have my tires. Very unprofessional and incompetent.

Update:I will not be returning to this location. Smh. Had been calling all morning to cancel my existing appointment due to change of plans for today. However, the phone just rang and the phone was never answered by an associate. Very unprofessional. Then I make it 20 minutes early to my appointment and end up having to wait 20 minutes to be checked in. What a waste of time! And when its finally time to check-in I met with someones incompetent grandfather who can barely work the computer. I was also asked to fill out unnecessary paperwork which is not needed as a Uber driver who gets the car service on Hertz car rental tab. Im going to assume that Chris is the gentleman that has assisted me in the past, because I give my name and my keys and the service is processed as a necessary. I have never had to fill out any paperwork. Not only was Grandpa incompetent as hell, he had no customer service skills. It became clear to me he had no idea how to process my appointment and request. Instead of being humble and looking for the answer to assist a customer. He proceeded to tell me that if I didnt fill out the paperwork I would not get my car serviced. What the hell is going through this mans head? I was raised to respect my elders oh, but this idiot almost made me lose it. Instead of arguing back and forth with an idiot, I walked straight out of the location. Let me just say this as well, there was a young gentleman who was ahead of me simply trying to pay for the services and Grandpa turned it into a 15-minute ordeal. Its a shame that Pep Boys would allow this type of associate to deal with customers and a computer they cannot work. I should have known it was going to be some b******* with no one ever answered the phone. This makes no sense no sense at all oh, I wish I was exaggerating, but this is a type of service that I have just received. Mind you, I had to wait almost a week to get an appointment with the coolant specialist. Very upset, please do something about that old man you have working there because you will literally have no business to speak of if he continues to deal directly with customers.Good service, chill location.

I’ve brought my car in a couple times, and they have always been very helpful. Recently, my oil drain plug was stripped out and they upsized the plug for free! Their store is great as well, and I’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely terrible. I got towed on a Sunday here because they have a drop off box. When I arrived, they were closing the store so they asked me to drop off the keys and write a description of the issue so they start working on it Monday morning first thing. On Monday, I called them 3 times, each call lasted 30 because nobody could give me an update. At the end, the employee told me that they are finishing my Mercedes so I should go there in 1 hour to pick it up. An hour later, I went to the store and I had to wait for another 30 in line. It then turned out that they had not even opened the dropoff box and the employee told me that they cannot even do anything for German cars (they did not flag this the day before and the guy told me they did a Mercedes earlier that day). In way that shows that they do not care at all, they told me I have to get towed to another mechanic and they cannot help me with this. I lost almost all of my Monday here

Where as the pepboys in Long Beach on PCH is rude and dishonest, the Inglewood pepboys is the complete opposite. Especially if you get checked in by Amber. She advocates for the customer and makes an honest attempt to get you the best possible solution for your needs.
Cool people great service
The clerks were extremely helpful. I needed a turn signal bulb, told them the make and model of my car and they found the bulb. It turned out to be the wrong one but they promptly made a return and got me the right bulb. They let me use a wrench and sockets to switch it out. Awesome store. Thanks guys!

This review is for PepBoys Inglewood location. Unfortunately their website is not showing how busy they were so I made an appointment through their website which was a waste of time because when i show up they are so busy that they dont accept your vehicle so i highly suggest to call before you show up.

This pep boys has been in Inglewood since I was a kid during the pandemic I found myself with a bad tire went to Firestone totally booked up until Tuesday thought about pep boys went had my tires service they put me on two brand new tires I dont have to worry about sliding in the rain I had an extended warranty that I purchased when I originally bought my car it was no hassle she put the information in and it was approved thank you Jesus thank you pep boys for being such essential workers during this pandemic
The staff was very helpful. Needed snow chains. As soon as I have the details of the tires, the staff got me the chains. They explained return policy in detail.The chains worked well. Had no issues with them.
I had one of the worst day of my life. My battery died and my Honda Care was flaking on me. I was so upset and felt so alone. But Amber at Pep Boys made it right! I absolutely love this place. Ive been shopping here for more than 20 years and have always had a positive experience....A much deserved thanks again to Amber and Inglewood Pep Boys(:-D.

It was beyond terrible. Their incompetence threated my life and that of others on the road. The mechanic did not secure my trunk. I left pepboys stop at rally burger drive through and preceeded down Manchester. While driving the hood blow open hitting the windshield. It was frightening. Because it as a Sunday xuri g the pandemic there was only one car behind me. When they took it back to pepboys there bas been o e excuse after another. I only asked tbey fix tbe hood and windshield. They refuse. There is no way they arent liable. he didnt secure the hood.
Just dropped in to purchase auto cleaning items. Such as air fresheners, tire form cleaner, spray on wax,etc. Self serve, reasonable prices, there is also a service bay for repairing your car. In fact, in the past, I have even had a car towed to this Inglewood Facility. Technicians and Service Manager will explain what is wrong with your car, give estimates. I have a 2016 Honda civic. I keep it gassed up, the oil is changed regularly...essentially, I take care of my car.I came in for an oil change and a new battery. They got the job done I guess (I have other qualms, but we’ll leave that there). I called afterwards informing them of an issue I believe they caused since it was never an issuer prior and I was met with a nonchalant, dismissive attitude.PepBoys can live without the couple hundred dollars I spent there so I have no problem taking my little money elsewhere.

New management and staff! Assistant manager argues with customers. They double book and ask you to come back the following day. When you come back youre still waiting about two hours after a second appointment. This location use to be my favorite one now Im on a search for a new one.
Been there twice. First time they lost my keys. Had to wait over an hour for them to find them. Second time, since I learned from the first visit how slow they are, I left my car there all day in the hopes that they would finish and I can just pick up my car. 8 hrs later nothing had been done to the car. Oh, and the computers were down in the morning when I went to leave my car, made me late to work. Avoid.UPDATEIm forced to use Pep Boys so I went a 3rd time. I found out why they didnt work on my car the first time I left it there, it was beyond their control and not their fault. Jesse help me this time and the experience was great. Changing to 4 stars from 1.

Find another location! I had an inspection schedule for 7pm here. I called to confirm at 5pm. The lady I spoke with confirmed the time and cost. I arrive at 6:30pm. The same lady I spoke with tells me, they do not perform inspections after dark. I asked why wasnt I told this when I spoke with her BEFORE driving there. No answer! I was the second person this happened to. The other driver left confused.

Great promotion on an oil change brought me to this place...I expect never again having to stop by...There are 9 places to repair cars in the workshop. All were taken, but ONLY one guy was working on ONE car... for half an hour I didnt see any other mechanic. Slowly another one popped up... slowly took care of my car... but nothing was being done on the other 7 cars.When I arrived a guy was shouting because he was told his job was going to take 40 min, and he already was there for 2 hours (his was the only car that anybody was working on).I cannot understand how a company can survive this way.

Very poor customer service. I asked an employee for help who wasnt busy, yet talking to a co-worker & he just pointed. After 5 or 6 trips, the last time, the security guard very rudely & unprofessionally approached me & told me they were closed. However, it wasnt quite time yet. I had a few minutes left & the door was still open. Ill never return there ever again.

I had a bad experience trying to simply change my oxygen sensor. They dismantled my car but were unable to put back together. In total I waited for about 10 hours. Mechanics barely spoke English, so I highly do not recommend Pep Boys for anything!
I made an appointment and still had to wait an hour! The girls are friendly but Jessi yells at them in front of customers and he’s very rude to customers. He should find another line of work where he doesn’t have to deal with customers.

I was looking for relays and went to ask for help and the guy looked at me with bad attitude and told me to go check in the price scanner, it didnt make any sense, went to another guy and he asked me about make and model of the car, when Im just looking for an universal relay, what a unprofessional staff, customer service sucks, I wonder why they still open which such a bad service.... My experience here was quick and painless. I brought in my girlfriends car for a break job, and picked it up next day competed. My only gripe is the high price, but the gentleman who I spoke with was professional and respectful.
Visited this pep boys Auto center for strictly Lyft purposes. Had a smooth experience with the Lyft rep.the rep was quick to answer my questions. Pep boys employees looked very bored and sluggish to move.
Sent my sister there for an alignment, she made an appt for 4pm at 4:45 they said she has to reschedule, she politely yet sternly told them NO so an hour later they did it. (Brand new tires) The next day shes shaking on get at 60 mph. TERRIBLE
I Am furious after my visit to this pep boys location located on spruce in Inglewood. I came in to get my starter replaced, already purchased the part just needed installation. First off after they install my starter I come to pick my up pay the fee, I drive off & my car cuts off on me at the first stop light ( my car has never done this) I start it back up drive down the street it turns off again.. luckily I wasnt too far away, i immediately drive back.. mechanic tells me all he did was change my starter but also tells me that I didnt have any oil in my car ? & that he put 4quarts in .. first off I didnt ask for oil I asked to replace my starter.. what company gives complimentary oil changes?? I basically had to go ballistic instead their establishments after they tried to wait me out for closing time just for me to personally have to tell the mechanic to fix my f-ing in an angry manner. Then to top that off. I watch him (mechanic)unscrew my engine cover( had no reason to be under there in the first place), go inside his tool box & put whatever piece her wasnt suppose to take off in the first place & put it back on. My car now has an electrical problem & my blinker is staying on which wasnt happening before & now i just dont not know what to do. I will be contacting corporate because I came her based off of what I though was a company that had integrity & could be trusted without frauding

Very slow process management dont seem to get along front end supervisor not sure what his name was very rude no customer service whatsoever. Theres a Girl by the name of Teenie she tried her hardest to turn my negative situation into a positive I paid $1,700 for shocks replacement 3 days later ABS wires were hanging scraping wheel. Im not sure if these people see the big picture inconvenience to the customer driving unsafe vehicle this could have been dramatic for myself and my family. I will not be returning. There was no compensation for the inconvenience. No reimbursement for towing my car do too unprofessional tech not applying screw to ABS to secure to shock.Pep Boys if you review this please give me a call or reply to this message you guys have all my information you need make the situation right feel free to reach out at any time. Keep in name Pep Boys name stands behind your quality. You might want to hire quality control specialist at your place to get this running smoothly.

I stop by on a Sunday night knowing that they didnt do state inspections Lyft. I was instructed to come back Monday through Friday I came back on Monday and about 10:00 a.m. they told me there were too busy come back after 3p came back around 4:20 and she said was nobody on Mondays to do state inspections so which lie am I to believe. Poor customer service in the place is dirty Pep Boys you should be ashamed of yourself you have been around most of my life this is very disappointing I will not go back there for anything.
The manager was rude and told me that it would take three and a half hours to get my tire changed. I wont come back here again.
