I really enjoyed my visit to this establishment. The store is big and has a wide arrange of goods in a variety of media and a variety of price points. I found a piece of pottery that I liked but had a few questions about it. I asked, semi-seriously, if they could call the artist who produced it to have my questions answered. Guess what- they called- and the questions were answered. One of the staff persons spent a great deal of time with me helping me decide which piece to buy. Other stores could take a lesson from the quality of customer service that this store provides. I am so glad that I took the time to visit this store and will return the next time I am in Iowas City.

Iowa Artisan Gallery is a destination youll want to visit again and again. There are beautiful home furnishing items and wonderful gifts all from local artists. Its not just a store where you go to buy things but also like an art gallery or museum where you can go for inspiration. The owners and staff are always friendly and attentive.

Excellent variety of beautiful things ranging from jewelry to woodworking and various other forms of art. Well worth a visit, be prepared to stay awhile.
