Horrible Experience. I scheduled my car to be serviced a week before the service day. On the service day, they kept the car for the entire day to give me an estimate of the work I requested the week prior. Since the replace brake light was on, it was obvious what work should be done. When I asked when the work would be completed, they replied, we dont have the parts. Again, since I told BMW of Birmingham what I needed to be done a week before the service, they could have contacted me, before I dropped it off, that they couldnt fix it. They were completely inconsiderate of my time.
Great and professional services each time Ive been in for repairs, etc. Professional and very courteous staff who constantly keep you informed of the status of your vehicle. Always inform you of repair(s) needed and the cost before any work is performed. Ive been very pleased with all aspects of sales and service and on my fourth BMW from Tom Williams.
Worth the price. I’ve taken my Mini Cooper to other repair shops only to have them mess it up completely on several occasions. I will only take my mini to BMW. I am always kept up to date with progress on my vehicle during my wait. The accommodations are satisfactory.

In for a routine check up on a one year old automobile. In view of the limitations that Covid has had on all service businesses, I feel like BMW of Birmingham did as good a job as they could. I gave them four stars instead of five. Better communications would have warranted five stars. The work performed by technicians earned five stars!

I had emergency services needed on a very busy Monday. The staff was……Excellent- with all that is going on and the supply shortages, this staff still give me efficient and professional service with a heartfelt positive attitude. I can’t thank them enough, especially seeing how busy it was, they got me and out in record time. Took time to check my records and noticed something that saved me hundreds of dollars. I am so thankful I got the service package, but also thankful for their help during a stressful day. Keep up the great work - you impressed me beyond measure especially during these crazy times.

Never pushy about what needs to be done. In fact, told me I could go another 3,000 miles on my tires even though they looked horrible to me. I went ahead and bought tires but I appreciated the fact that they gave an honest assessment.
Great customer service and auto maintenance as always. We’ve used the Dept for years and always receive excellent service, the friendliest team members and a shuttle when needed. Ryan, Jolee and the Service Dept are great.
Every time I go to BMW/Mini of Birmingham I always leave satisfied. Always helpful friendly and professional. They go above and beyond. Yes it’s expensive. I bought a BMW I knew what I was getting into. It’s the third vehicle we have purchased or leased from BMW/Mini of Birmingham. Until they prove me wrong they have earned my business.
? If you change the brake shoes or pads periodically, should that not prevent you from having to replace rotors? So if I brought my vehicle in 3 months ago because the brakes were making noise should we not have changed the pads or shoes then? Not telling me that the noise was from normal rust and build up on the rotors and pads? Fishy to me... $810 fishy...
Great experience! Tom Williams BMW of Birmingham gets an A+ for customer service. The shuttle service is awesome! My car repair was completed faster than expected and was washed and vacuumed. Would definitely recommend!
Had oil change and factory recall work done. Two days later had to return to dealer because factory recall was not correctly done. That extra trip was 120 miles and 4 hours I lost from my profession and diminishes my personal enjoyment of the 30,000 mile lease allotment. Dealer attempted to make me happy by filling the gas tank, but since the tank was already nearly full when I began my trip, that only gives me enough for the trip home. This is a small inconvenience, but I judge by the attitude and intention of the service manager. It seems that the effort reflects an indifferent approach, not customer centered.
I always get good services. The service personnel is top notch. My only problem is with the costs associated with regular maintenance. That will affect my decision to get another BMW in the future.

The problem that I had was the lack of customer service (something that Is becoming the norm these days). The follow up from our service advisor rep. was non existing... My car was In the shop for over a month. We tried calling numerous of times to find out why it was taking so long for what seemed to be a very minor repair. Finally, the department manager called and apologized - he explained that half of the staff was out with Covid... I appreciated and accepted his sincere apology and understand that people were sick but its still unacceptable (especially with the amount of money being charged for repairs) that an update was not provided.... I consider myself a reasonable person but this experience was quite exhausting. All of this could have been prevented if a simple phone call, text, or email explaining that repairs was taking longer than usual because lack of staff. With half of the staff out with Covid you would think that mask would be be enforced. I was shocked to see none of the employees wearing mask when I picked up my car 🤷♀️
I took my care in for a maintenance check up. I was meet by Zac who took me to meet with my service guy Chris these two guys made my experience easy and the process took only an hour and 45 min Great service. thanks Zac and Chris- and they detailed my car
The service I received was professional and Chris was very focus on making me feel comfortable. I would certainly recommend the BMW Service Center to my friends and family.
I was not satisfied. A brand new vehicle 840i Convertible that was built and shipped from Germany at a $100,000 price tag. I was told that the tires needed to reset themselves once the car was driven which they never did. I consequently paid $50.00 to have nitrogen placed in the tires at their Lexus dealership across the street so that every time I get in the vehicle I would not be bothered with a low tire/tires. Don’t dismiss me because I’m a woman. This is my tenth BMW.
So easy to schedule service via the app. They even sent a shuttle to my door to pick me up when my car was ready. 5 stars 10 out of 10 for Birmingham BMW. ALWAYS.
