Came in for a routine inspection, burning smell and brake light out. Told me I needed an oil change as that is what is causing the burning smell. Did not need the oil and never fixed the issue. Also did a full inspection, missed broken brake valve and went to another mechanic, they fixed everything and found that I was driving an unsafe vehicle with potential brake failure. When I brought it to Irvine Porsche attention, they said since the inspection is complimentary that they are not liable for anything missed. Oddly the other mechanic was not doing an inspection but said it was obvious. The whole point of over paying and going to the dealer is peace of mind. Unfortunately very unpleasant experience and never apologized and turned it back on me as I did not tell them what was wrong with the vehicle…. Is that not what the inspection is for? Would recommend avoiding this service department
Ok service. They need more staff. Maybe because the COVID they dont have enough people. The staff are friendly and helpful but very busy.
Bought brand new Maccan from this guys over a year ago, the break makes awful noise, presented a video clip to to proof that brakes makes noise. After several back and forth they still can’t figure it out, car still makes noise and they refuse to replace the brake under warranty, just go some where else or don’t buy Porsche all together
