Fixed my windshield. Very professional, courteous, and fast! Everyone here seems very polite and does their job well I was impressed with the service and the results are as expected. Hope I dont have to come back for any reason but at least I know if I do, I got a place that will get it done right. My insurance covered it but I did have to pay the deductible. Crack was too big.

Safelite DAMAGED our truck and REFUSED to repair it.I would not recommend Safelite and/or at least not the Irvine location due to its terrible and negligent service.Safelite replaced our windshield and left a dent on the windshield frame of our truck. It is clear that the tool used either dropped or was pressed into the frame as the installer attempted to replace the windshield.When confronted, the installer refused responsibility. We called and were told they would get back to us once the installer uploaded the “before” pictures.Not surprisingly, the installer allegedly did not take any photographs of the windshield frame prior to the installation which makes NO sense. He did take pictures of other parts of the truck, just not the frame.In addition, the installer messed up the rear view mirror which also had to be adjusted by another installer who knew what he was doing.They are refusing to honor their contract and repair the damage caused by the Safelite installer.I do NOT recommend Safelite Repair.
Tony did an incredible job replacing my broken front windshield and was very professional. The expected time was 3-4 hours due to calibration of my front sensors but everything was completed in 2 hours! The experience was amazing and I would highly recommend this Safelite location. Thank you Tony!
Something hit my windshield while I was driving on the freeway. My insurance company contacted Safelite and they came to my home to take a look. They said the windshield would need to be replaced and they ordered a replacement. Unfortunately after waiting a few weeks the replacement windshield they ordered was the wrong one so they needed to order another one which took another few weeks. Another major problem is that customers are not able to contact their Safelite shop directly. You are required to call a main number and have that operator put you through to your repair shop. Those calls always took a minimum 20 to 30 minutes of wait time before I could finally speak to the technician working on my car. Horrible system.
Thought these guys were the best in the business. Have had good experiences in the past, but this time its been a nightmare. Scheduled onsite repair, separated the 5 hour window in my day that they require only to have them show up and say it was an aftermarket piece of glass. Why wait to show up and share this information? My car is a lease so that wont fly.Had to call and reschedule the appointment a week later. They contact me via email 6 days later, the day before my appointment, requesting my VIN number. I promptly respond and they acknowledge receipt. I set aside the 5 hour time slot in my day again to be available. Get a call 2 hours into the 5 hour time slot notifying me they have not received the factory glass.This is horrendous service.

They damaged my paint when removing the previous glass, obvious pry marks. Amateurs, at best, and they weren’t even professional enough to point out what they did to my car…
Always stellar service! And really what would you do without them to fix your window & rear view mirror when the glue breaks loose! They saved my day again & very fast service!

I had a bad experience with Bob, re[air guy who just left my pleace few minutes ago and was very rude. I asked him to check the temperature of the windshield before starting the repair, and he said : If you want me to do it then Ill do it. My car was parked on a non-covered parking space but was just under the tree and I think I asked a valid question to check the temperature of the windshield before working on it. He never gave me a valid answer but had a bad attitude. He even accused me of giving him a bad attitude which was very unprofessional for him since I was only asking valid question. I even entertained his request to come early even I was at work. My original appointment today was between 1-5 PM. Since he had a bad attitude, I felt I dont trust him doing a good work and I cancelled the work. So sorry to hear that safelite has employees like this. Not using safelite ever again
Tony at Satelite is the man!!! He replaced my 2017 Toyota Tacoma windshield and was an excellent communicator. Super friendly as well! Even though the replacement was pretty hefty coming out of the pocket of a college student, I would highly recommend and use them again!

They should change their advertising and commercial it’s NOT TRUE. They have NO appointments available for 2 weeks they are not fast. It’s false advertising.
Based in my first encounter with Safelite, I went with again to replace a window. The folks are so helpful and professional.
Terrible job of windshield installation, only voice recordings when reaching back and left a mess in the car after the faulty installation. Brought in my car to replace a windshield, the job took about 2.5 hours. While driving it back home i started hearing wind coming through the sides of the windshield and underneath. When i parked the car home the trim was coming all off. I called back and got terrible customer service. Could not talk to anyone and only recordings.... See below for follow-up.Unfortunately heres where customer services fails, instead talking to a real person to voice my concerns, my only remedy is to schedule an appointment online and wait for them to reach out to me. This is a priority and needs to be remedied quickly to a fully paid customer expecting excellent quality service.
Took 2 hours from drop off to drive away. Will be returning to only this location because of Fernandos professionalism. A+
Worst experience EVER. I have been a customer of theirs for a decade and had at least 4-5 chips fixed always great experiences. The repairman that came this time from this location was very nice and seem to know what he was doing. I was impressed with the visual work. He left and gave him a great review BUT THEN the 2 inch crack expanded to larger than a dollar bill without me even moving the car. I tried to no avail to get someone from that location to call me back to explain their lifetime warranty on their work A JOKE! Spoke to national customer service on a Sunday who assured me a manager will call me. NOT simultaneously I was texting the repairman, who kept washing his hands saying I needed to call WELL, I HAD BEEN CALLING!! no one would call to give me a quote. The original repair was 9/2 or 3rd and this is 9/20 and after countless transfers, hours spent on the phone and very frustrating customer service reps (one he placed on hold when I asked for a manager and left me there- never coming back) I got a quote but NOT from a responsible caring mgr from this location. The windshield now has spread all across the window - I have barely driven my car and now they want to bill my insurance 1400.00 plus. If you can go elsewhere do it, dont be fooled by their lifetime warranty they are nice and is great that they come to you BUT if the repair doesnt work they clearly DO NOT care. Even if they give the 60 dollars back for the repair, the problem is they way they handled it. I have to chase them to get a quote and they really dont seem to care because they seem to have the majority of the dealerships, like my BMW. Its about the experience when things go south, not about the money. In the reply from them you can see not even an apology for this experience. The repair was 60 dollar through my insurance. Nothing compared to what I have to pay 1k but what is more insulting is their lack of concern, they truly dont care about your business when something goes south. My time is more valuable than 1400, I have spent hours translated to weeks because I work full time and I call when I can since they only work Monday through Friday.

Great staff, efficient service. All of my questions were answered over the phone in a timely matter and was given an appointment as soon as possible. Highly recommend this location to get your window fixed. They were able to come out to my home but with my schedule bringing in seemed easier.
They wanted to charge me DOUBLE what Laguna Niguel Car Glass was going to charge me. They also did not have an appointment to come out to fix my windshield for 4 days. Laguna Niguel Car Glass showed up 4 hours after I called them, and again, was charged half the price that Safelight wanted to charge.
The people here have always been nice and friendly, but Im a bit irritated at their appointment system. I had a morning appointment. You dont choose between times, just between morning or afternoon. So I dropped my car off the night before cuz that worked best for the people giving me a ride home. No problems there, said they would give me a call when its ready. Estimated time is 1-2 hours for the repair, so with a morning appointment Id guess 2pm would be the absolute latest they would be ready. Got to early afternoon and I still hadnt heard, so I called. Takes you to like a call center, not the actual location. Then the call center contacts the location. The call center told me that they had started (I double checked to confirm this info!) working on my car, but were on lunch so would finish it up after. The latest my ride could drop me off was 2:45 (still hadnt heard from them yet), and when I got there they had just started to work on my car and told me it would be an hour to an hour and 45 minutes longer. Absolutely ridiculous time frame for a morning appointment, especially since my car had been there since the night before. Why even make an appointment then? They were nice and the work was good, but Im just irritated at the situation when it sucks enough I have to get my windshield replaced.
I searched for options to replace my windshield, some were cheaper but after checking the reviews it was not worth to try to save money and have a bad experience, so my best option was Safelite; I scheduled to have a technician at my office and avoid spending time going to their facilities, there is an extra charge for having the technician going to your office/location. Unfortunately I couldn’t get an appointment right away due they were pretty busy. I paid in full on their website and got the appointment on the next 3 days I also took the opportunity to replace the wipers for a reasonable price; on the appointment day I got a notification that the technician will be there between 8am and 1pm, around noon I got a call from the technician saying he was on his way, he arrived 15 minutes later and started installation. After ~40 minutes the windshield was ready. Overall it was a good experience however I am just giving 4 starts due I had to ask the technician to clean my dashboard which had some remains of the old windshield and also the new windshield had hand prints and dust, he forgot to remove from the old windshield a parking permit sticker, so he didn’t leave his job presentable and didn’t clean after he finished. At the end he gave me instructions on waiting time for the sealing. I will update my review if I find any leaking after I take it to the car wash - I will wait 4 days, technician told me to wait at least 48 hours. I paid $337, my car is a Mazda 6 2016, you can Google discount codes on Google, I got $20 off.

Scheduled the appointment AM, replacement supposed to take the whole day, I was told. I was 18 minutes late, when I arrived I was met by extremely unfriendly staff member who told me that I can go home because I’m late, but she will do me a favor and ask of they can still take me, they couldn’t. No plan B, no reschedules were offered.If you value your time and reasonably expect at least moderate service - this is NOT a place to go.
Mat (yes, with one T) is the kind of technician that makes you want to call customer service and rave about how awesome he is.After a bad experience at another location, Mat handled a warranty issue. He started an hour long process about 5 minutes before the store closed. He did an amazing job, and perfectly within his time estimate of how long it would take. Not only is he a great tech, hes got some serious people skills and a contagious smile. Avoid Westminster and go see Mat with one T at Irvine!

This Company REALLY DISAPPOINTED us seriously. When we complete order on their website somehow it doesnt show our correct car model with corect year at first. Then, we called to double check and make sure to complete the right order a day before our scheduled appointment; the representative did ensure our order and sad theres no problem for the order. Then, today we have been waiting them since afternoon 1 till 4:30,well, they didnt even give us a call back at all! instead we called! twice! AND they are saying that they are still trying to figure out the order. Wow, how efficient is that!
They replaced my windshield in record time. My Tacoma windshield has a bunch of high-tech gizmos that must be calibrated, Safelite got it done quickly, and accurately.
I was concerned that I would not get a quality experience using a big national chain, but I was extremely delighted in my experience with Safelite in Irvine. Every person I encountered was courteous and professional. The replacement windshield was high quality and the price was competitive. The workmanship was first class. I will use Safelite again and recommend them to everyone I know.
The lady in the reception said in the morning that I don’t have to pay anything, the insurance will cover the cost, when I come back in the afternoon she told me its you who need to pay everything, this is a so bed service.

I just got off the phone with a super nice customer service rep with Safelite! She made the process of finding the best price(which was through my AAA insurance) to have my windshield replaced as painless as possible. I feel like we could be friends! Great job to this lovely lady. :)
The technician told me before the repair that the crack was too deep for it to come out perfect, but ended up repairing it as well as I could have expected. There are still some webs visible from the inside, but it has been a couple of weeks in the hot sun since the repair and everything is holding together nicely.

Unable to accommodate a drop-in - fine but telling me to open a insurance claim for $120 repair and unable to tell me when they can accommodate the repair is pretty shady. Use our website... I found a great place 5 minutes later for half the price and awesome customer service. Suggest you stay away!
I was stood up twice by Safelite. The technician was supposed to come to our house and he didnt, twice. I called their customer service and they seemed to have accused me of lying when I said the technician never called me to say he had arrived to fix my car -- I was waiting at home, from 1-5pm, two weeks in a row.I will never use -- or, better, try to use -- this service again, and I obviously dont recommend it.

I have been rescheduled 5 times because they didn’t have my part. Three of those times I was not notified until during my appointment time and therefore could not work while I waited at home. They should have been able to notify me the night before at least. Beware if you have a new vehicle for which parts are hard to get.
Was in this past Monday at their shop to have my windshield replaced on my Lexus. These guys know what they are doing and did an excellent job! They got me in and out in under 2 hours. Thanks again!
Had a fantastic experience, took an employees car to get the front Windshield replaced was in and out in under 2 hours, location is very convenient and easy to find. Safelights quoted and final price was about 50$ less than their nearest competitor in Irvine. Highly recommended
I had a chip in my windshield and Safelite handled my problem like champs. The guys came to my work from the 3 Faraday B, Irvine, CA 92618 location and had me fixed up in no time at all. They ordered the wrong windshield for the second time. I called to confirm they ordered the right part before my appointment and it was confirmed by manager. To find out that they didnt AGAIN and no one called to say hey we dont have the right windshield, Had to drive to the shop to find out my self.Shop didnt care neither customer service.Stay away from this company/place and save your self the headache.

I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service this location offers to their customers. On April 2018, an incident occurred with a technician during my wife’s windshield replacement service.My wife was promised a reimbursement for the damages they caused from a manager named JESSE LOPEZ. This individual has been dodging my wife’s phone calls and emails ever since, and we still we’ve heard anything from him. My wife has reached out to corporate several times to file a report, but still nothing has been done for us.As an Active Duty Service Member, I don’t always have the ability to assist her due to my job. An incident such as this burdened us financially and our family as it takes time away from caring for our newborn son.I recommend others and especially Military families to avoid this location and this company - seek an alternative company. They do not stand by their customer service or take responsibility for their actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Awful experience. The front desk person who prepares the quote does not honor the costs as indicated by the 1-800 number for safelite. Also the front desk person is NOT a problem solver, is argumentative and could not get my insurance from my car which was in their service bay to give me the preferred rate. Dont come here and waste your time which such simple folk who dont go the extra mile to see that you are satisfied.

My car got broken into. The commercial shows they can come out to you but the next appointment was a week later!!! So I had to go to them with a half broken window for an appt hrs later bur staff there got it done and tried to clean all the glass inside the vehicle.
