What a cute place to go get candy. I loved all the variety of sodas and old school candy. I also loved reading all their signs they had. They had weird flavored sodas which if I am so curious to taste!

Unfortunately they assume people have stolen things, perhaps based on how my daughter and her friends dress?? Demanded they show the insides of their pockets. Shined a light in their pockets, checked their bags. Of course the kids had stolen nothing, so there was nothing to find. They were quite traumatized though by the entire event and we will clearly never return to this store.

Rocket Fizz was amazing. They had so many different candy and drinks. All kinds of flavors of kit kat, oreos, taffy just so many candy! So many trinkets, so many signs, magnets, old school lunchboxes etc...Super interesting. Super fun! So much to look at, it was kinda overwhelming in a good way. Best to go when your with good company that dont mind staying in their enjoying everything. Lol Employee was constantly restocking which was good. Just overall amazing! Must go if you like this kind of spots. An awesome find and Ill be back for sure! Id post more pics if I could, but I took more videos than pics!

Pretty decent selection of soda, though a lot of them are joke gross flavors so watch out for that if youre trying to just buy actual soda. Decent selection of candy as well

The store has a great selection of candy but the staff is very unpleasant and unwelcoming. The lady at the register is rude and the other young girl acts like security and as if one is stealing items. I think they should deliver better customer service by welcoming their customers at least with a fake smile and a fake greeting.

This place is horrible, my girlfriend and I were walking around the store and I knocked over a candy bar. She told me to be more careful so I started heading for the exit when my girlfriend was stopped by one of the employees. My girlfriend had been holding our bags from previous stores we purchased items from and the employee accused her and I for stealing due to the way we dress and the fact my girlfriend was holding bags. I definitely would not recommend this store.

Super dope retro soda shop. Good amount of soda candy and retro art. A bit pricey but not many stores like this around

Love this place they have of great variety of soda here. It is pricy but I also like to support small business. Whenever I come to Irvine I make sure I stop here to buy my favorite soda. They also have alot of different candys, my kids love coming here. I highly recommend coming even if its just to try once, so you can see all the different soda they have here.

Plenty of candy, soda, and novelties. Mexican candy is more expensive than it is in, say, Santa Ana or Anaheim.

Great selection of candies, some toys and niche items and unique drinks. I purchased Bundaberg guava and root beer. Evident from my snapshot - amazing flavor and no artificial ingredients or flavors so i love them.My reason for the low star rating was bait and switch with the drink section. A medium sized sign states all sodas $2.49 each and these rang up for $3.99 - since i avoid being price sensitive I went with it. But most wont, proper labeling is key to repeat business.

Always a fun place for the kids. Tons of little inexpensive toys, candy, and unique sodas. Very friendly staff let us return a toy my son changed his mind on the same day.

They sold everything that you missed from your childhood: warheads sour spray, all of the seemingly discontinued candy bars, my father, and those tubes of sour goo.Absolutely incredible and nostalgic.

The place is kept looking like it just opened thr ambience is its best thing. The lady at the counter was extremely rude. Nothing is priced. They had hanks black cherry soda and this is the only reason I gave them 3 stars instead of 1.

Regular candy that you can get at the dollar store is close to $5 bucks. Its good for sodas and candy from out of the country.

There are so many good choices, you want to try them all. The aesthetics of the chocolates is elegant and the colors of the chocolates make you want to have all of them.

An impressive store with a wide selection of root beers and candy. Very friendly staff and family-run, but a key problem here is their prices. Spicy chips for $10? Drinks for $6? It might be understandable considering their venue location, but their prices can (and most likely) alienate the customer from the tourist.

Rocket Fizz has cool stuff but they are expensive and dont post prices. The staff wasnt very friendly when I visited.

It is a cool place to go to for the cool retro snacks but there was water coming out of the fridge and nobody put a sign or tried to clean it up. I was also told by an employee that it wasnt important after I had told them that there was a big puddle on the floor.

As a guy that loves soda, the selection that this place had blew my mind. I have never seen so many different brands and variations of soda before. They had lots of candy too, but the soda was what blew my mind

If youre looking for nostalgia, this is the place to go! They have all sorts of candy memorabilia, soda flavors and candies! Theyve also got plenty of merch and funny signs and full size cut outs. Its not cheap, but some of the rare products are worth it! They even have Japanese kit kats that are always amazing!

Its a real cool place to walk around and see all types of candy from different parts of the world, although prices are ridiculous such as the mexican candy, certain pieces were at least 2$+ while an actually Mexican store would have them for 50 to 75 cents.

This place is full of fun stuff and nostalgic candy. I go there because they have one of my favorite candies when I was a kid, tart-n-tinys. They seem to be very proud of them here because they charge $2.89 a bag?I guess I should have bought stock in tart-n-tinys in the 80s rather than Enron?

Prices seem rather high, but I that goes with them finding and stocking such a large variety of novelty items. They have a very large selection of goods, especially novelty soda. I almost expected to find a bottle of Nuka Cola.

This place is heaven for a gummy candy freak like me. Some of the candies are a little unusual but once you figure out which you like, it becomes dangerous. Parking in that area is tough, which was probably best for my dental hygiene. Its also a bit expensive for candy but worth an occasional trip.

Unfortunately they took a look at my credit card, saw my name, and I understood the Hebrew they were speaking and the glares I got.... I was an unwelcome Arab in their store. 2018 and discrimination still exists.

Rocket Fizz is an amazing store with lots of great products, including rare candy like pop rocks, jelly belly, etc. and rare sodas from the 80s. I liked the employees in this store, they are always smiling, and give you good advice on products

This place is fun with all the cool candies, BUT don’t expect to have that much fun when you’re a babyface adult that can pass as a 13-17 year old. who likes to wear a band shirt and jeans. i recommend going to the one in san clemente if you want to go to the perfect OC rocket fizz.story time: i look like a 15 year old and the manager followed my boyfriend (he looks 17) and i around EVERYWHERE. i understand it’s for security reasons, but this was heavy following. i’ve worked in stores before and you’re only supposed to watch them from a distance and give them the occasional advertisement if you truly caught them stealing. it’s for their own safety and so the customer can’t sue for anything. she was behind us 98% of the time and she was at the counter staring us down when we were closer to it. for every small section we were at, she was at least 5 feet away from us just standing there and watching us. my boyfriend and i were laughing at one of the posters at the counter (it was high up there so it did not look like we were staring at the workers) and she came over and said, “um... do you want something?” with a pretty mean look. we politely said no thank you and that we were still looking. she rolled her eyes as she walked back to the counter. when we finally went to pay, the cashier was really really sweet and kindly answered my question. she said teenagers used to steal stuff in the past. the thing is there were teenagers everywhere, but she seemed to only be interested in us.basically everyone but that manager is really nice. i’ve never had a problem with any of the workers there until now and i’ve been going there for years. i don’t know if i want to go anymore. i don’t like being followed and i felt unwanted.

RIP off shop. Everything is jacked up to absurdly high prices.
