I have been wearing SWAT boots for the last ten years. The Six inch zip up steel toe boots I had ordered this time have some major design flaws. I wore them for three days thinking I was just having to break them in. The pain became so unbearable that I could not wear them for a week. I tried to figure out what was bruising the inside of my ankles. I found extra material bunching up around the zipped up area so I figured if I cut the excess out it would be fine. I tried to wear them again but the bruised area on my ankles were still being painfully aggravated. Upon another inspection I found that the tongues on the inside of both boots have something very hard inside of each one that was pushing on the inside of my ankles. I have never had a pair made this way. I have four older pair so I am not sure what happened with these but I believe something went wrong. Not even willing to take them back to investigate the manufacturing defects. First time I bought from this online store and will be the last. DONT BUY HERE.

Ordered 550 st . Customer service was prompt and polite. Received boots after back order. This all worked great. Boots looked good, fit well. UNTIL I dropped a brick on my right toe by accident. As you can see, left boot is steel. Right boot has no steel. I guess I didnt need that toe anyway. It would be nice to get a right boot with steel though. UPDATE.Customer service called me back, said they would make it right. Got new boots, properly made in about a week!

Military Boots Direct by far have the best prices! I ordered the Altama Foxhound SR. I love this brand. I have flat feet and these boots are light and extremely comfortable. I ordered my first pair of Altama while overseas and they still feel comfortable. Only purchasing a new pair because of the OCP uniform. As you can see, my tan ones have had it. I did encounter an issue with shipping but it was corrected. I had to email the company because when you call their toll-free number it tells customers to send an email. I did not like that part because i figured sending email who take forever for someone to respond back. I was wrong. I received a call to correct the issue the same day, I sent the email. Very pleased with customer service. Shipping is fast. I think it took 2-3 days too!

I needed a pair of boots for duty with the unit that Im assigned to and ordered them from MBD last week. Customer Service Representative Brian contacted me the next day by e-mail and reported that the boots that I had originally ordered were out of stock. He gave me the option of providing me a refund or finding me a suitable alternative. He recommended the Khyber II Hot Weather Lightweight Mountain Hybrid Boot. I ordered the boots and received them the next afternoon. Ive been wearing boots for many years and I can tell that these boots will require minimal break in time. They immediately felt comfortable when I put them on and walked around the house. This afternoon I put the boots on and walked a few miles in the nearby woods and knew that these were a good fit. Theyre well made and will suit my tactical needs quite well. I cannot say enough about the exceptional customer service that Brian provided to me. Many years ago I slogged through boot camp in a pair of ill fitting boots and swore I would never again endure that misery. Brian helped alleviate the hit or miss that ordering boots prior to trying them on can entail. Thanks!

Military Boots Direct /Belleville is phenomenal. In 2008 I was deployed to Afghanistan and was issued the Belleville 790s. I fell in love with that boot. I finally bought a new pair a few weeks ago but the sizing was way off. Im usually an 11 in sneakers or on the sizing machine, so I ordered a size 10 wide with Bellevilles suggestion. Boot was still a half size too big. Military Boots Direct took care of the exchange immediately and sent return labels. Customer service is really great. Thank you!

Recently a pair of Tactical Research boots (TR350) I purchased at a local Army Navy Surplus store finally wore out after many, many years of service. I decided to look on the web to see if I could that same boot and found the Military Boots Direct website. My boots, the TR350s, were easy to find on the site and they were on sale! I submitted my order, but I could only find the boots in a Wide configuration instead of the Regular size of my old boots. I included a note with the order asking if it would be possible to get the TR350s in R instead of W and submitted the order. A customer service rep named Brian sent me an email advising the TR350s were sold out in my size, both R and W widths and he offered an alternative boot that looked exactly like the TR350 but was in a different color and available in both the Wide and Regular widths. However, the alternate boots were about $15 dollars more a pair so I emailed Brian and asked if the boots he suggested would be the same price as the TR350s I had hoped for. Brian wrote back saying the alternate boots would be ...a complimentary upgrade at the same price. Wow, that is good old American customer service at its best. I wish all companies would work as hard to do the right thing for their customers as Military Boots Direct. Thank you Brian!!

However, if the product you order doesnt fit comfortably even though the size is correct, or the color is different than portrayed in the pictures, you have to pay for the return shipping. That added cost means that the prices from this seller are not as good as Amazon or other websites. I likely wont purchase from here again.I returned the boots and Brian issued a refund as soon as I sent the tracking number. The customer service is great, but unfortunately having to pay $22.80 to return the boots made the price too high. Unless I’m sure I’m going to keep what I order I will have to purchase elsewhere.

Ordered a pair of boots for military duty and within an hour was emailed that the size was going to be on back-order and warned if I needed them sooner they may not be available yet. Less than 4 hours later an acceptable replacement order was processed, payed for and under preparation to be shipped. Fastest response Ive ever gotten on an order (especially on a Sunday). I had purchased a pair of the 600CT boots just under a year ago and recently the outsole on both boots split from side to side. Customer service was very professional and expedient in communicating with both myself and Belleville on warranting the boots. I ordered the boots in November and was told they were backordered and that my credit card would be charged when the boots shipped to me. My CC was charged on 27 November and I still have not received the boots. On top of that, I have emailed this company 6 times and have heard nothing from them. I will never order from them again and am telling friends who were interested in this company to steer clear of them, as wellWish I could give zero stars!

15 years ago I received my first pair of Belleville boots (390 DES) as part of a supplemental issue in Iraq. Started wearing them the first day, and could not believe how comfortable they were: zero break-in, and felt like I was walking on springs. When rainy season approached, I ordered 2 more pair of 790s (with Goretex lining), and was again impressed with comfort and dry feet! With my two original 790s now relegated to occasional use, I ordered a new pair. Brian emailed me immediately to inform me of a 6 week backorder, which was quite acceptable. Less than a week later, my wife hands me a box from Belleville with the ordered boots! Just as comfy as the originals. Great boots: I wear them whenever I expect to be on my feet for hours, and have worn them in torrents of rain while marshalling golf tournaments. Recommend with no hesitation.

Brian emailed me because my boots were backordered. Not surprised as Im a very uncommon size and run into that all the time. He gave me clear options and we exchanged 6 emails in as many minutes. I ordered a pair of boots from Military Boots Direct (MBD), following their online sizing guide. When I received the boots, they were too small, and I requested an exchange. I received the return label and shipped the boots back to MBD in the original condition and packaging. I received confirmation of delivery on 14 May 2019, and have yet to receive the replacement boots. I have sent several emails to MBD inquiring after my exchange, as their listed phone number only returns an automated message saying to email them with questions, to no reply. I would like a refund issued for the amount of $127.95, since the product received was returned, and I have not received a replacement, nor any indication that I will. If i could give less than one star, I would.

I was kind of scared to order online cause of the reviews I read about this place. Some said costumer service was horrible. They wouldnt answer their calls after their boots didnt show up or they needed an exchange in size, but my experience here was great! I ordered my boots for my abu and chose 7-9 days for shipping cause it was free and they came in 3 DAYS! Good condition and everything! If this helps Im usually a 6 and ordered a 5. Ill be honest, I couldve gone 1/2 a size bigger but they still fit good.
