So delicious and cute! Just wish they would bring back the butter beer flavor. It would also be really awesome if they had an up and coming flavors notice for regulars so we could know when to swing in for certain favorite flavors!

Went for their special Line character macarons! Got there before 10am on a Saturday and there was already a line. The line took about 20 minutes to order. These character macarons are bigger than their usual size and cost $7/each.Also went to a weekday once and there was no line.

I was super excited for the love live superstar collaboration, and i couldnt be more satisfied. ive only eaten 2 out of the 5 character macarons so far, but they were both super good (dark chocolate sea salt flavor and french toast flavor). i also got a couple normal macarons and they were tasty too (strawberry cheesecake and hazelnut nutella). im normally not huge on macarons, but i was smitten, ill definitely come back another time. the line was quite long and it took a bit to get through it, but i dont consider that a fault of the store, its just what to expect from collabs like this. the macarons came with other goodies from the franchise, and the desserts themselves were really cute and detailed, im sure the decorators and chefs worked really hard on them. be aware, they run out of character macarons pretty quickly, so get in line fast! im not sure what the typical price point of a macaron is, but i know from many failed attempts that they are NOT easy to make, so i dont mind if they are a bit more expensive than expected. all in all i discovered a new place that i liked a lot, if i go to irvine ill drop by again for sure

They have really well made macaroons and they taste delicious. The service is great and they have such an awesome vibe too. I love this place and when I’m in the area again I’m definitely coming back!

I had took my daughter on Saturday, the day they had a pop up show that day. We waited in line from 3pm and did not get to the store front until 9:45pm. It literally took us less than 5 mins to order the macarons and have my daughter take some quick pictures with the pop ups. I felt they could have had the lines move faster then they had. They mergh pop up closed while we was waiting in line, so the staff passed out free stickers and a poster. The macarons was delicious and had a great variety of flavors.

These are the best macarons hands down! Came up to Irvine from San Diego and visited the Irvine Spectrum Center and found Honey & Butter. We were so glad we found it! First of all the store is so fun and decorations were excellent. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcomed. Everything was super clean, sanitized, and we felt good being there. The macaroni flavors are so creative, delicious, and love that they switch them up. They make it super easy for you to order online which is super helpful if you arent local. Definitely recommend Honey & Butter!!

I love seeing their new flavors and what collab they’re having next! They always have new merch to look at and their character macarons are so cute. They have instruction sheets for keeping the macarons fresh which is just what we needed since we stashed a box away for a birthday a few days after and they were still perfect.

Super cute macaron shop! I went in for the My Hero Academia event and everything was dressed up. The macarons tasted really good! My only gripe is that there was a line out the door for these macarons. I would wait in it again though!

One of my favorite places in general. Its around an 1 hour drive for me but its worth it for me I enjoy all the new rotations of flavors and the price. Also I love it when they have themes available been able to grab character macarons most of the time and so adorable and detailed as well as very delicious.

Was introduced to this shop through their Omori collaboration. The macarons were so cute and tasty, even their honey & lavender flavor was amazing and I dislike lavender! I couldn’t pick a favorite between the other three (oreo, fruity pebbles, and berry). The texture was perfect and I’ll absolutely be returning for more!Edit: Almost forgot to mention how kind the staff was, especially considering how big the event turnout was!

The macarons at this location were a treat. Proper Covid guidelines were executed and the wait was not too long to get into the store. I was a little sad that they were sold out of a few of the flavors and the character macarons when I had gotten there but I should have ordered ahead and the other Macarons were so good, I didnt feel like I missed out on anything. My personal favorite was the Churro and the Creme Brulee but all flavors were equally delicious.

I’m a macaroon nut and for me, the perfect macaroon has a chewy center and a crunchy outside. Honey & Butter macaroons only has a little of that chewy center but despite this, they have quickly become one of my favorite places.They create some of the cutest macaroons I’ve seen; so adorable that I hesitate to eat them...sort of. Aside from the creativity, flavors are balanced and complementary. Our favorites so far are their strawberry mascarpone and milk and honey macaroons.

AMAZING!!! THESE ARE THE BEST MACAROONS IVE EVER HAD!!! They do have choices to pick from maybe not enough for some but just enough for me! I will always make a 1 hour drive down there if I ever want more. They are TRULY worth it!! The workers there are AMAZING staff and really nice people. AMAZING customer service everytime.

These were made at the store by staff, not frozen cookies made by other manufacturers. The flavors are so rare. The taste was fantastic and mouth watering. The filling are the bomb. A must for everyone shop at this open sky mall.

I have heard stories of this place since I moved to California. Finally made it today. So good!! Even the classic macarons were much larger than I expected, full of flavor, and real butter cream. They had quite a line but I understand why. Thankfully I ordered online and was able to pick them up quickly. They are the right sweetness with loads of fun and interesting flavors and the best part of the store is that everyone in it is so happy and just make your day! These are by far the closest ones I have seen to the one in France so it was very interesting to be able to get this kind of flavor and perfection in the States! Definitly recommend for all of the macaroon lovers! Wont regret it!

Love their macarons! Its different from the typical chocolate/vanilla/raspberry/pistachio etc. ones youd find elsewhere.The creature ones are very cute! Unfortunately, those sell out very quickly online, as do the classics.Prices run from $2.50 (classics) to $6.00 (creature/character). To ensure you get the flavors and quantities you want, keep an eye on when their online shop opens for orders.

Every time I visit, they always seem to have a different theme/collaboration going on and its very fun to see.

I do not have many macaroons because they are generally hard to find good ones. These are excellent. We tried all the weekly flavors and all were really really good. I recommend ordering online because you are guaranteed your flavors and skip the line.

Macaron flavors are the best! I love that they will experiment different flavors every 1-2 weeks while keeping some of the core, classic flavors like Enchanted Berries, Oreo, and Milk & Honey.The staff is extremely friendly. Ive never had a complaint about them, even after going like 30 times. Decor is so cute as well! Very colorful and vibrant.Its also really cool that they do anime collabs & showcase their talents with character macarons. They are a bit pricey, but for the artistry, theyre worth it if you really love the characters. Highly recommend if youre in the Irvine/OC area.

This place was a lovely surprise! We were waking around the mall looking for a snack when we found this cute shop. Their macarons are to die for, and our favorite ones were lemon and... pikachu! We also tried their coffee, and the staff was friendly.

Im not personally much of a macaron person, I just think theyre kind of okay. Which that held true for me here, the macarons were just kind of fine to me, but Im giving it 4 star because everybody else in my group absolutely loved it and there was a line out the store and around the corner, so I figure if you do like macarons it must be a pretty good place to get them.

Just a girl who loves all kinds of eatery from the Midwest. It was my last day in Cali. I literally drove an hour to grab some sweet treats for myself and younger brother back at home! The macarons are too cute to eat, and its worth the drive!

I haven’t been to the actual store yet but my sister picked up a gift box. I am a macaron person and I am impressed. The flavors and textures are spot on, and the little cookies are just moist and have such a delicate bite. I’m looking forward to going when the store reopens to buy them as edible presents for friends and family!

Yeah so basically my sister and I went and bought 6 macaroons right for 15 dollars, they’re good but don’t get the matcha not good at all the caramel was the best. They gave us a cute little dumpling sticker and I asked if I could have one more because well there’s two of us.. girl at the front is super rude but other than that it’s alright.

I absolutely love Honey & Butter! The macarons are super cute and tasty. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They have different character macarons everyday, so I follow them on Instagram to see what may be in their store that day. The shop has a lot of events that they host. I remember seeing a Sailor Moon event where they had really cool fanart!

Macarons are pretty basic. A little pricey. Although it comes with the location. We got sea salt, oreo and smores, they were delicious. The kids loved them nice and soft.

I drove all the way here and they were out of Macaroons. It was one of the days tbeu were open which idek what to say about that. I was so disappointed and bummed like how do you run out of the only thing you sell by 12:30. Super disappointed and will never be going here again. If you want these goto HB farmers market on Tuesday. They used to be there at least but idk if they still are.

Best macaroons ever!!!! My favorites include the creme brulee, and hazelnut Nutella, and new is the stratchatella. My daughter loves the enchanted berries. Everyone here is amazing, they are so nice and a small business that really has grown and it is pretty neat to see. There is a limit currently to 4 in the store at a time and there is always a line but it moves along quickly. Since Covid they offer an order online and text upon arrival for pick up. Either way it is quick and easy. They have speciality macaroons which are super cute. Flavors change about every week and some flavors sell out quickly so if you see some you like dont delay! Another small business worth supporting and so worth the drive up from San Diego! A must stop by when we are in the area!

My best friend and I drove a bit over 5 hours and roughly 375 miles one way from Arizona for these. 100% worth it 10/10 would recommend, would come again. The macarons were so light and delicious! My favorite was the matcha, the bitterness of the matcha offsets the overall sweetness of the macaron, so neither was over powering. The shop itself is very simple, but very cute! The staff is friendly and works as fast as they can, as they were fairly busy when we went.

Went to the Irvine Spectrum Center for Hello Kitty Cafe without a reservation and took a big L. Luckily, found that they had a honey & butter store in the mall. Have been wanting to try this place forever (at the Costa Mesa location way back when).The shop is SUPER cute. Super instagram worthy. Had paper flowers, swing looking thing, cartoon characters all over the wall, tsum tsums, and of course.. character macaroons.Per the staff, Creme Brûlée, Strawberry Marscapone, and Milk & Honey were the top three flavors.Tried the Creme Brûlée macaron so far and yup... it tastes like Creme Brûlée. French toast one had stale cereal on top, would skip.Should definitely check this place out.

Not really a fan of macaroons but they make really cute macaroons. Make sure to be there early to get the special made one because I couldnt get any cute one like tsum tsum or star wars. I got matcha and its pretty good. The store is inside a well decorated van. They have a lot of tsum tsum inside too. Its a good place to check out if you like tsum tsum!

The macarons here are pristine! So picture prefect that I feel bad whenever I have to eat them. The physical space for the shop itself is small so lines can get out the door pretty fast. Theres a reason though, everything there is amazing! The selection is huge so sometimes it can take a while for the line to move. Service is quick if you know what you want.

Eating a creature macaron is equal parts bliss and sadness as you bite into the little pieces of art. You may have eaten a macaron before but probably nothing like these.

Ive been coming here for years. Always bringing my family here or taking some Macarons home whenever I am in the area. I like the theme of the place and I think it really attracts the younger crowds from millennials and younger. The macarons are good and they are fairly priced, a bit on the cheaper side in my opinion compared to Laduree and Pierre Herme; but these Macarons are on a different level compared to those. Its not bad as I like them all but, the macarons here dont scream elegant like the other places Ive mentioned. They have fun flavors here and I think the Fruity Pebble one is one my family and I enjoy. Very nice place and friendly people working here, I highly recommend stopping by to try the macarons here. As a note they are pretty big compared to the other places I mentioned before.

The Macarons are really great! I enjoy coming here. The only reason I didn’t give a full five stars, is because they aren’t quite as amazing as the ones at Disneyland, which is totally okay!I’ve also been confused about their hours lately, so be sure to check.
