The employees here are very welcoming and was very professional about the whole situation. Walk me through everything step by step and answered any concerns I had. The way Smart Start operates is much better then a few other companies that I had came by. To be honest I had to request transferring my remaining time that was required to have an interlock device from another company to Smart Start just because Smart Start had better offer and better services. I will do what ever is required by law but doesn’t mean I have to be miserable doing so by staying with a company that doesn’t serve me well. So another word in my view Smart Start is the way to go. Hopefully this help someone out there to make a better choice on the company services they choice to service them .
I sold my car 3 weeks ago and made an appointment to have the interlock moved over. Luckily the dealership worked with me. After giving Smart Start all the info on my new car I show up only to have them tell me they are unable to switch the device. Now I am out of work a half day. One car is an hour away and I still don’t have the blower on. The dealership is wanting to sell my car but can’t with the interlock still on it and I’m stuck in the middle. I have called and tried to use the app with no luck.

This place is an absolute JOKE. How do you expect people working a Monday-Friday job to come on a Saturday while you’re only open 9-1??? And closed on Sundays!! Not to mention once you get there expect to sit in over an HOUR LONG LINE!! There has to be a more proficient way to speed this process up especially when people are spending over $70 a month on this service that we’re forced into by the courts for some people YEARS. This company needs to do better about store hours and these long lines people have to wait hours in.

Interlock was installed 1/26/21. Demo of how to use it was very clear. During the installation and demo and payment I was always asked if I had any questions several times to make sure I understand how everything works. There were no issues driving home even during the rolling tests. I didnt get a holder for the interlock because they ran out so I hope to get one after my first calibration visit.
Fast and efficient if you go early during the week
Attempted to contact a specific location today. Was hearing automated phone directions for approximately 4-5 minutes. Finally able to speak to a live person. Person gave me a direct phone number for the location. The given phone number was of a different area code hinting the number was most likely a cell phone. Called the number and was directed to a automated message stating the number does not have a voice mail... Long story short, its pretty much impossible to reach someone at the locations.
This location got started on my car early and were very professional. Even finished up my install way before the time it was said it would take to complete. They made me feel comfortable with the handling of my devise. Looking forward to seeing them soon.

Had a couple decent interactions with staff but be prepared to deal with a lot of BS when they make a mistake(and they will). When a companys customers are forced to be customers then there isnt a huge need for great customer service. This company will lie, cheat, and steal from you because theres nothing you can do about it. Sad

Great Service and Friendly Staff. Im happy to announce that after 3 years of being a mandatory customer I finally got the interlock removed from my car. This location has a convenient drive up window where a red-shirt employee attends you. The process is not that bad as long as you make your payments on time and NOT drink! Thank you guys for helping me these past 3 years. Best of luck to everyone else.

So unprofessional I called Saturday for my appointment that was due that day. And the person I spoke with over the phone from this location offered me an extension to pay on my next appointment since I didn’t have the funds. & when I get here today 10/07/19 the manager tries to get an attitude with me saying no one said anything because no one is authorized to give extensions. This is really unprofessional for someone to give false information over the phone. Usually a customer is always right but to the manager it seemed like if I was throwing lies at his face. I think they need to check their employees instead of trying to argue back with a customer who was told false information.
If you have to do it, at least this company is polite about it. Staff is professional. And to all of the new people out there: there is no way they can install it wrong and cause you to blow any kind of alcohol level. That isnt how it works.

Do not enter! Screwed my car up on a brand new F-250. Ripped out there cables, then looked at me and your truck wasnt running right when I drove it in there.State law in the day stated that any Driving Impairment machine was to be factory removed.These idiots are radio installers.Dont go and film everything!
I have found all the guys at this location very knowledgable about the product, helpful and kind. They are fast and thoughtful. No... I am not the company, I am a customer...and btw... Your machine cannot go into lockout due to a time change...thank you guys for making a bad situation better with your excellent customer service!!
This is the second time ive had the displeasure of dealing with this company. I have in in-home device and after a 12 hour day at work the device popped me at .07. The First time i dealt with them i had a vehicle lock for a DUI, i own that charge but the installer put in in wrong and refused to own up to it so it constantly violated. There is something really fishy about all this. I was AT WORK FOR 12 HOURS and it popped me at .07?
No one likes being here or why they are here. But these guys are professional and willing to help.

Not only is everyone that works at this place extremely rude but they will rip you off every chance they get. I have a in home machine that went into lockout because the time changed. Not only did they charge me $50 just to reset it the manager JOHN didnt even have the balls to come explain why. He just had his bilingual pansies tell me he was busy spooning with a technician in the garage. They know there is not much you can do because you have no choice in being there and use it against you. If you try and call the corporate office to complain be ready to sit on hold for 45 mins and then get transferred to a voicemail with no return call. This entire company is a complete joke and is just out to screw you like the justice system does. But at the end of the day... what goes around comes around...
