I happened to get a flat near the mall, since this Firestone is about a minute away from the mall I decided to take my car there. They told me they would have my car ready in about 2 hours. I understood since I believe that you really need to have an appointment here to get services faster. By my understanding they were going to patch my tire and if anything else was going to be needed they would let me know. About 3 hours in I finally was told my car was ready. Come to find out they basically just put the donut tire on. I then asked what had happened to my tire and the front desk person told me that it had a nail? If it was just a nail, wouldnt you have just patched it? I really appreciate them putting the donut for free but, did that really have to take 3 hours?. They should have at least told me what was really wrong with my tire or told me I needed a new tire. I had to go to another tire shop just for them to tell me what had happened to my tire and get a replacement.

The person that helped didnt seem to prioritize well and didnt move with a purpose. I brought a bad tire on a rim and have been waiting now for an hour and it hasnt moved. Yes there are others in front of me but if those are a major job then you do the 15 minute job and get it out.

They broke the bolt that holds my battery from shaking loose and did not tell me or admit to doing it! They told me when I brought it in they could not fix it till tomorrow in which I work and would have to walk to work after doing my car off so they put a rubber bandaid on it so that I could bring it back the next day! They are incapable of properly working on cars, I put my trust in them and they take away my day off to just put a simple bandaid on the problem they caused ! This is uncalled for! As a woman I feel they just took advantage of me! I encourage everyone to avoid the Firestone at Irving Mall! I can’t speak for other stores because I have had good results from other ones! Just not at Irving Mall!!!!

I’m not understanding how a scheduled appointment for an oil change (@ 2pm) takes all the way up until closing time (6:30pm) to complete. I was even told I would come before those who are walk-ins, and that my car should be ready approximately @ 4:30pm. Again, a scheduled appointment this was. I get there to see everyone is gone. I’m the last to retrieve my vehicle. I will be filing more of an complaint elsewhere.

Firestone is good but not this location. AVOID!!!!Came into town for and needed a repair… didn’t know what it as just a rattling sound under the hood of my Mercedes Sprinter 2500. They call the President of the company and told them it was the water pump. Held the van on the lot for a full 3 day to find out it was the alternator that we got fixed at another Firestone in Altoona, IA on 1/19/2021. A faulty alternator so for 2 days they thought it was a water pump issue…. When they four out it was a Firestone repair they were going to charge the card for the warrantied repair and it was in their system day one.Firestone’s company deserves better representation and it needs to be under new management.

Needed an Oil Change and tire rotation, I went in and the technician said I had to make an appointment. Made the appointment for next day at 4PM and was told my car would be ready by 6:30PM-7:00PM. Whats was the point of an appointment? It doesnt take 2-3hrs to change oil and rotate. Went to a competitor

Left my tire to be patch overnight and came in the next morning and the tech said he didn’t know anything about my tire. Told me it will be a few hours before they get to it. Then lied about the price. Very unprofessional and terrible customer service.

This has to be the worst firestone in the metroplex. Im really not sure why I didnt look at the reviews before coming. I showed up here at about 8:15 just for a balance and rotation, Im still here at 11:30 to be told he is having problems getting the gum off the rim from previous balancing. Also telling me youve got our slowest tech working on your vehicle. Hell he didnt show till 9. This has to be a record for me not blowing my top with the ridiculousness going on here. I would tell anyone if you have to use firestone, drive the extra distance and find a different one to do business.

Had an appointment set up for for a wheel alignment and when I went there to get it done they told me they had never confirmed my appointment. I showed the dude my email confirmation and he said his system never showed the appointment. Complete waste of time and untrustworthy place. Won’t recommend anyone!

Came here recently for a 4 set of new tires and the customer service was great, but the price was about $400 more than Wal-Mart, NTB and Discount Tire, but I seriuosly needed these new tires and they had all 4 in stock. The competitors didnt have them in stock, I had to wait until the following week and I just didnt have the time to wait, as I am a mom of 3 and need to be on the go asap!!!

This place is just full of clowns, an dishonnest people. I normally DIY my cars as far as my knoledge and tools let me do, so there is almost 0% chance that Im not aware of everything related to my vehicles. Long story short I pay a visit to this shop asking for an alignment since Ive been replacing ALL THE SUSPENSION COMPONENTS WITH NEW PARTS I BOUGHT in a period of 4 month, and there is this old guy who just attempted to charge me $2523 to replace lower control arms and tie rod ends because: tHoSe parTS ARe too woRN OUT to PErFoRM ALignmENT..... Avoid this and all other Firestones like the plague. Overpriced and unprofessional. The old guy (Miguel, if I remember properly) running the lobby was so slow moving and technologically inept it was infuriating. They rarely have the parts you need on hand and they dont even finish the job. Look at the attached pic. What? Did your worker just not feel like properly connecting my glove compartment after opening it up to access the cabin air filter? Extremely disappointed.

I took my car in to have two tires changed. I was told it would be about 2 hours because they were busy. My vehicle was not touched for the entire two hours. 2.5 hours later they take the vehicle into the garage. It then took 2 more hours to change out two tires, and for the price, outrageous. Terrible service and no sense of timing to complete jobs. I do not recommend going here, find a different place that will be quicker and more efficient.

If there was a NO STAR option that would be my rating, I’m not one to give bad reviews but this I have to, if you value your time & your car, please find another place to get your service. My wife who was a loyal firestone client (especially this location) took her dodge avenger for an oil change, when picking it up it had circular scratches on the front & rear bonnet looked like someone put a wheel on the bonnet, she asked them & they said it was dust, wiped the “dust” off & the car had indeed been scratched, they said it wasn’t them & that the car came in that way, took no responsibility at all, were not even willing to look into it.This is a car that has been kept in pristine condition.Find another place to get your car service, this place is not worth it.

When to get a State inspection. I sat and waited to 2 hours only to be told they couldn’t run a OBD cause the machine wouldn’t read. I was told by the clerk that I would have to go to the dealership to get it check out and that I had missing wires. I reasoned “ I don’t understand how there could be missing wires, seeing that that part of my car hasn’t been touched since my last inspection. And I came to this same Firestone.” Went to a different mechanic that seen these so called “missing wires” were just sitting behind the Diagnostic wires. I’m disappointed with this Firestone.

This was my second or third time visiting this store; my neighborhood store. The first time was overpriced and didnt fix the problem. I actually opened a card account (for the discount). The only reason Ive gone back is my card; I havent used it since that first time.Now to todays experience. So, I made an appointment because last time I stopped by they said they couldnt get to me. I get there feeling good, not expecting a tire repair and oil change to take more than an hour -- I used to work for a lube shop and we did oil changes in 5 minutes! Were on time and the guy behind the counter says itll be like a 3 hours wait before they get to it!UTTERLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE. I WONT BE COMING BACK.

Absolutely useless. Had an appointment at 1PM on 6/10 for an AC inspection and cabin air filter install. Showed up and was told it would be 4 - 5 hours until it would be fixed. The tech may be able to get to my vehicle around 3 - 3:30PM. What’s the point of having an appointment? They were even telling people an oil change would be a 2 hour wait at minimum. Again - useless. Won’t be returning ever.

I wouldn’t recommend this place for anybody. My car was there from June 15 2020 Monday. They told me it will be ready on Wednesday June 17. Then they told me something else broke and they had to order a part and it will be ready on Monday June 22 2020. But, still it wasn’t ready that time and told me they have to change the battery. Still, it is June 25 2020 and my car is not fixed and they said they had ordered the wrong part. I wouldn’t recommend going here for service because you will waste alot of time in this place. I wouldn’t even give 1 star but I had to post this.

Ive used this shop for years, mainly bc of their credit card promos, and almost every time I swear Ill never go back. But I inevitably do, and remember why I swore them off initially. On more than one occasion, I have had vehicles there for multiple days, usually a day or two later than promised, and never seem to get an update as to the status of my vehicle unless I seek one out. Generally, I find that the mechanic has already left and whomever I am speaking with at the time knows nothing of the progress.Case in point: vehicle dropped off yesterday before 9am for repairs and promised today. I call at 7:09pm today (because there was radio silence on their end all day) only to find out that my 4am departure tomorrow will have to wait because the part is here, but its all disassembled and waiting to be put back together. Classic Firestone. I thought maybe youd changed, but you fooled me again.

I love coming to this location because everyone is always helpful and friendly. It never feels like I’m waiting all day because they get my car in and out. Another big plus is they always explain why they recommend a service and explain the work before they start on your car. For a woman this is comforting because I know they will never recommend work I don’t need!!!!

Tried to call in about a set of four tires. The man after about a minute of speaking was clearly rude, sarcastic, and utterly unhelpful. Put me on hold for about ten minutes then told me the tires I wanted arent at the store, not only that but I would have to go to Colorado to get them. This is fort worth,TX. He said all I got are all season what are you moving to Alaska we dont have winter tires here? Those tires wouldnt last three weeks here. Told him I am moving up north and he continued to be rude, condescending and unhelpful as he didnt find a solution for this problem. The tires would have cost me 500 including ridiculously large installation fees to disrespectful and rude men like this. Why is it every time I go to a firestone its a horrible experience?

I had the worse experience getting a simple brake job completed. After feeling rattling and squeaking I went in to get my brakes checked. I was told it might of been several things but I knew it had to be my brakes. After a decent wait, I left feeling safe again on the road. A few days past and the squeaking was still there. I thought I was hearing things but decided to go back in and thats when I was told a faulty pair had been put on. I was shocked that this was even possible. They replaced the pair to my skepticism at this point. A week or so went by and I was back, for an unrelated issue is what they told me but I cant be sure. I will not be going back to this Firestone and Im a LONG time customer. Truly dissapointed I could of at least gotten a refund on brakes or discount for my inconvenience.

If possible I would have gave them 0 stars they are only there to take money out of your pocket. Really bad experience and would not suggest to anyone. They loosed my car Axle nut and tried to thug me by informing the my car has an serious issue and would cost me 1000 dollars to replace the wheel bearing and hub. Completely unprofessional behaviour. I wish I had read the reviews. let me be clear the customer service is strictly okay and everyone IS Very respectful. I personally had no issues with that. my problem is with Im assuming is company policy to make the most money out of every customer. I was quoted initially almost 300 for a side mirror repair, they did go down to about 216$ but that is still quadruple what I paid elsewhere for the same work. like I said the people are fine but why is it company policy to upcharge people? esp people who may need emergency repairs? I try to be fair and balanced with everyone but I would not go to this location again. I am glad I called around because i was able to find a better deal. anyone who gets a quote that seems outrageous, I would suggest calling around other local places.

I wanted my brakes inspected and I kind of thought the brakes might have started going out. They brake tested my vehicle and took the tires off and diagnosed my vehicle. They didnt show me my brakes and I didnt see my car until they pulled it back out for me. In the end they recommended replacing the master cylinder, brakes, rotors, and a brake fluid flush. The salesman basically regergitated the issue I was having to try to sell me on some services. With labor and some other recommended services, like a coolant flush and fuel injection cleaning, it brought my total to about $2,000. That was way too much for me at one time, so the salesman tried to get me to finance it, which I turned down. I later took my car to Valvoline in Princeton to get a secondary opinion before I got the service done at Firestone. Turns out my brake pads, rotors and calipers were perfectly fine, but my struts were in horrible condition and didnt tell me about them. I dont think Ill be back to Firestone again with this horrible experience.

Customer since 1999 never had problems. When Juan starting working there he showed me how to get discounts online. Juan and passed employees have treated us with awesome customer service. I did try to save money and went elsewhere (Link auto service Irving TX) boy was that a big mistake got charged $1,998 dollars and really bad service Firestone had to redo the work. Time, money and quality is a joke to these people.1.I got new front brakes and new rotors installed a week ago spending 4hours to get the job done even though i had an appointment. They charged me double the price that i paid for the same work on the rear done yesterday from somewhere else, same brand same quality rotors and brake pads.2. I noticed Front brakes squealing so i went in to get them checked and now they re asking me to wait another 2-3 hours for my turn. I dont expect this kind of treatment. Dont make me wait or do the job correct the first time if u are taking 4 hours to install brakes on one damn axle.

Please read all the reviews and take them into consideration before visiting this store. First, let me start off by saying I am not familiar with the area. I live in Dallas and was just getting off work and had used Waze to point me to the nearest Firestone.On 2/20 I arrived at the store just a little before 5. I walked in and ask Vhun could he get me in. He asked me what did I need done. I told him that I needed an oil change and my brakes done. He told me that he would be able to get me in within the next hour to and hour and a half. (They close at 9pm) I agreed to wait because I wanted someone to look at my car because it was making noises I never heard before. So i waited in my car for about 2 hours. I call the store at 7pm he said that he would be out in a little. He finally takes my keys around 7:20pm. I waited some more at this time it’s 830ish. He comes and tells me everything that was wrong with my car but didn’t explain it well. So i feel like I was being over charged. I then call another store in front of V and had them break things down to me. I then agree on the repairs of my back breaks. Five minutes later I go into the garage and see V and another employee in the far right hand corner tag teaming something. I yelled to him hey add the front breaks on to. At this point I’m in the garage and don’t see my car up in the air. I was a little suspicious but I didn’t know what was going or if they were pulling my car around. Let me remind you there’s multiple employees there so I’m thinking that they should have my car completed in no time. As I’m waiting there’s two other men that were picking up their vehicles. One says that he came at 430p and the other said he came at 5p to drop off the vehicle. The 430 client said he had received a 9pm courtesy call saying that his vehicle was ready...he didn’t leave til after 10. The next client that was getting his tire pressure checked and a new tire left around 10:45. V comes in and say hey I’m doing the back right tire then you’ll be good to go. Fast forward to 11:30p is when i walked to the counter for checkout. I asked him why did it take so long. He then replied “ One of the customers have a low profile tire that took longer than what was expected. It took two of us.” Then we have a new guy that I have to keep an eye out on as well. I then asked him for a discount he tried to offer me a free service totaling to $50. I was not satisfied with that one reason being that I’m a female. Second reason is that there was poor communication throughout my visit. Third I had to wait 5 hours in a 39 degree room freezing to death with no heat. Fourth reason is that I reached out to one of my followers on social media that works at a firestone in dallas and he said that in a case like this that they would have offered a higher percentage so I knew that he was definitely not trying to make sure I was a happy client. I told him the price that I should be given based on the response of another Firestone employee and said that it was above him and that his boss would have to do it. I asked him to reach out to his boss seeing that it was a special situation. He refused to call the manager or give me any of his contact information so I called the police. He then gave the officer the business card for his boss and then the police gave it to me. Like all of this could have been avoided if he wasnt trying to prove a point. Like customers are what keep you in business going. What upsets me the most is that I’ve had all of my vehicles serviced at Firestone since I was able to drive. My entire household takes our vehicles there but after this situation I would probably consider going somewhere else.

I took my car in to fix a nail in the tire and after we seen a employee driving wild in my car, I told the service adviser not to work on it. And that I would pick it up when I get off. When I went to pick it up my engine was knocking and will not crank now!!! I will be Filing a law suit with this company if my engine is not fixed or replaced. Then to make matters worse they say It is my fought the engine is knocked. I have NEVER experienced this type of unprofessionalism from a corporate business. Got here to get a new tires at almost 3:30 pm and was told the car will be done before 7pm and theyll give me a call.almost 4hrs pasted i never got a call from them so i drove to the store just to see what take them so long.so i saw my car but no tires on it(then what were they doing in the past 3and half hrs??).they told me they were taking care of another customers which is okay for me..first come,first serve i get it. But it would be better if they said it will take more than 3hrs at first!!!! (When i got here they were smoking,talking not doing anything,maybe they were taking a break on my car lol) very bad business here!!! The Communication is Just not there.My car had an issue getting Gas. The pump would stop frequently when putting in.FIRESTONE Makes a Diagnostic on it and Decide that it’s the Censor and If that didn’t Work that they would Have to get me a new Gas Tank Which frankly it was Expensive.. So I get the Censor changed however I still have the same issue putting Gas. NOW I go to a different Shop kwik Kar Lube & Tune they tell me they just need to clean the fuel system. It’s a miracle!

10 miles left of a 700 mile trip, had a double lead blow out on my trailer. Waited 2 hours for them to open. Was not greeting, was talked to like I was beneath them, was made to feel like they didnt want my business of 4 new tires.The tech came out and was either high or brain damaged. He could grasp basic concepts like where do you want me to park this trailer.Then was told they couldnt give me a time estimate because they where busy (2 customers).I found there was a discount tire .4 miles away...Im sitting there now to get my tires 30 bucks cheaper from a company who cares about their customer.Juan and his crew of dirtbags can keep their overpriced tires and their horrible attitudes.

Terrible customer service. They ruined my Audi Q5 after a simple oil change. They left the bottom plastic hanging on the ground that made a loud noise when I drive. Then they forgot to reset the service light and when I told them, they started giving me an attitude. I would not recommend going there!!!

Slowest service ever... I was giving a 5 pm to be ready... been here since 2 pm to change two tires and an inspection... they are taking more than double of the time they told me. Not even update or sorry for taking longer...Bad costumer service. Im going to buy tires someplace else in the future!

So Ive been going to Firestone for years and lately they have been going down hill. I got my breaks done here and they have been squeaking. As an Uber Driver it is not a great sound to be had going down the road especially when I have a rider. There cost is crazy expensive. Most times I can get the part from OReillys and go to a mechanic and get it put on for a fraction of the price. The staff is okay but I wont be going back for anything anymore. This is not the only reason. There has been more but the breaks were the last straw.Update: April 30, 2019So Firestone finally fixed the breaks. There were not squeaking anymore. Thank you Juan for taking care of the issue that was causing problems.

My sales advisor went out of her way to get my business. They were extremely helpful and friendly and found coupon pricing that was less than I had found elsewhere.. They were very respectful on my time and went out of their way to work within my time constraints.

Absolutely horrible service. First oil change of the morning and it took an hour and 15 minutes. They emptied out my glovebox to find the wheel lock key and left the contents scattered all over the floor.They wanted $30+ tax for rotation of tires and patching a hole in a tire where a nail is. I will head to Discount Tire and receive great service and free rotation and tire patch.

My wife had a tire go flat on her at work (across the street from here) and took her car here to get it fixed. It had a very small screw in it, that BARELY pierced thru to the inside of the tire. It was in the tread area (about an inch and half from the sidewall) and was very much fixable, but because of their STUPID store policy, they told my wife they couldnt fix it and shed have to buy a new tire ($125). I showed the tire to 3 different tire repair places, and all 3 said it was definitely repairable. I took the tire back to them today to talk to a manager. He told me that he knew, as well as I did that it was repairable, but their company policy is that it has to be pretty much in the center of the tread (which is STUPID), and normally they would send customers to a small tire shop around the corner when it was this type of situation (they NEVER offered that to my wife) to have it repaired, if the customer wants it repaired anyways. This situation goes to show that their policy is there to take advantage of people, and squeeze money out of them, or, they take advantage of women who might not know the difference... plus, they charged her all these extra fees like TPMS service kit (no service needed to just mount a new tire), and disposal fee (she took the old tire with her) etc.. I WOULD NOT recommend you go there, unless you like to spend a bunch of money.

Went into the store for a front end alignment, waited over an hour, then was told that I would need to replace inner and outer tie rods before an alignment could be done and the cost quoted was $425.00. Took my less than 1 year old car to the Ford Dealership and would you believe it? There was nothing wrong with my tie rods.What an upsale Firestone tried. Do not do business with this company.

Brought my car in around 10am, and was told it would be ready by 230pm. I called them at 230pm and they said they were about to get to it. I waited in the waiting area until 4pm and they told me it would be done by 430pm. At 5pm I went to the counter and the guy said he forgot to tell me that they had to get a tire that he thought they had here and did not. Now Im still here waiting till who knows when and they show no kind of care that theyve kept me waiting. This is a business vehicle and I just lost business by just waiting around with false waiting times. This is beyond rediculous!!!!

Spent almost two hrs changing one tire ... They opened my hood and checked my battery from what I saw and now for some reason my car sound alike it has a big muffler... He also removed all 4 tires for not reason ...all i wanted is just ONE tire quick tire change .. He did dropped the price but they do milk you out for your money .. Smh never again

Dont purchase a lifetime alignment plan if you own anything diesel. They claim their Jacks are wearing out and cant lift a 2500 ram after doing it the first times. Now I wonder if they ever did align it in the first place. I asked so what should I do now? Guys responds I dont know.

Just left Firestone after dealing with Taylor he couldnt have been nicer great experience buying two tires. Before I called Taylor at Firestone I had a bad experience with a ntb in Dallas they were rude and sold me the wrong tires. Taylor was very nice and knowledge on the phone and a joy to deal with in person.

6 hours for job that takes 30mins and overcharged on parts and labor. I noticed a (newly) cable hanging from bottom back of my vehicle and they didnt fix it. A mistake to come here.The time before, my hot & cold gauge was working normal until they worked on it.Before that time, I told them they didnt do something right, they took no responsibility and charged me for their inadequate work.
