Replaced a single 8-ft door with a double door and it looks absolutely beautiful!It took a little longer than expected with the understanding they are busy, which makes sense, as they have the best price for great quality service in the Metroplex!Billy and his team were communicative at all times. The installation crew was the best, we encountered some issues but at all times they ensured me that there is nothing to worry about and that it will look great. I cannot believe how bad this experience has been. I reached out initially online and did get a prompt response setting up a phone consultation with Billy Cline. We talked briefly a few days later, he asked me to send pictures (which I did as soon as we hung up) and he promised me an immediate quote. I never heard from him again. I called a few days later and was told he would call me back. He didnt. I called a week later and was told he tried to call me - which is a lie - and would call me back before end of day. He didnt. I called one more time, expressed my unhappiness and asked for another call back. I was assured he would get right back to me. He didnt. I am not sure why Ive been so easily discarded but I certainly should have to beg.

Recently asked DFW Door Repair to adjust my back door after have new tile installed in our kitchen. The personnel that showed up were very professional. Their work was outstanding, quick and reasonably priced. I will certainly call them again for any future issues

We had two smaller jobs for weatherizing two doors in December. It took a few weeks to even get the job scheduled. It was very tough to get something hammered down. When they did come out, they did a good job. However a defective door sweep was installed and countless emails and texts went unanswered to try to get it repaired. When I finally did get a hold of Billy, he said to reach out “in a few weeks” and they’d schedule me. A couple weeks later I reach out and my calls, texts, and emails go unanswered. Finally I got a response in early May and he asked for a little more time. I went ahead and just had the door replaced elsewhere. Nice guy. Not a good experience.

We are very happy with DFW Door repair. From our first call to the install, Billie, Brian and Jason were great to work with. They know what they are doing! I would highly recommend them.

Would have been pleased but my patio lights (which were working before) weren’t working by the back door after the crew replaced the frame. The company didn’t cover the bill and blamed it on the wiring in my house. From my perspective: my lights worked fine, they did work, my lights didn’t work at all. The employee I was working with eventually stopped responding to me. I ended up having to pay $216 to fix the lights which felt like a significant cost up since the door replacement was $890. I want to get a couple other thresholds replaced and I probably would have used them again if it wasn’t for this. But now I don’t trust the company’s quality and know I’ll be on the hook for anything that goes wrong. DFW door was an amazing company to work with. They are very professional and did an amazing job installing our new door. Would recommend to family and friends.

UPDATE: I did receive a call from the DFW Repair team, and they were very apologetic for the unresponsiveness. Ultimately the team came out to complete the repair. There was some chipping of the finish of our door, which they did come back out and stain again. Overall, Im appreciative that they made good on their commitments.Don’t waste your time for any smaller repairs. Just like so many contractors, no one even bothers to call back. From showing up late twice for the “virtual quote” appointment, to accepting the quote and never following up to schedule the work (even though I called ~6 times over a 6 week period and left a message with the receptionist each time…also sent an email with no reply).

My experience with this company was very positive. Jr. and Andy showed up on time wearing masks. I had issues with 4 doors. They worked for 3 hrs. solid and completed the repairs in a professional manner. Afterwards they cleaned up thoroughly. At first I thought the estimate was too high but decided to use them anyway. After seeing the extent and quality of the work done, I feel like the charges were reasonable. They do the repairs the correct way not taking g shortcuts like trimming sticking doors. If you want quality repair with progessionalism and craftsmanship, this is the company to try.

I originally asked for an estimate for weather stripping 2 exterior doors. I scheduled the job. The first door was routine. The second door frame had deteriorated over 40 years, no surprise. Our tech pointed it out and I decided to just change out the entire door frame. Before leaving I asked him to check another exterior door and, no surprise, we had the same issue. So, I scheduled 2 new door frames as the tech said the doors were good and we just needed frames. I monitored the work about every hour and the tech explained some of what he was doing and this was helpful to me. The scope of the work appeared to be larger than originally estimated and the techs had to fetch parts at least twice. Guess what? NO INCREASE IN THE PRICE! Thank you DFW Door Repair.

Great quality work. They installed the back door of my house. I already have had complaments of how good it looks. The new back door keeps air in a lot better, along with air from coming in. They realigned my front door and made the air hold in as well. Friendly service, great quality work! Keeping air in the house will save me money in the winter and summer.

Thank you DFW Door Repair. We are so pleased with our new front doors! We called and met Billy Cline when we contacted him about installing new front doors. He listened to our concerns and wants and then gave suggestions on what would work best for our situation. We elected to remove our existing front door and the two side panels and replace it with double doors. We chose the color, style windows, and decided on fiberglass doors. When the date for installation arrived three men came. The first man was there to remove everything but before starting, he put up heavy plastic sheeting, floor to ceiling, to help cut down on the amount of dust and debris. Wow! Nice move. The second gentleman arrived to start the installation. These two men were the nicest people to have working around you. The third man that came over was the painter, cleaning up any bumps or scratches that might have happened as well as painting the door frame. Top notch work, cleaned up the area before they left, very polite the entire job. Oh, and Billy came as well to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Great job DFW Door Repair. Tech reported on time and worked with care to properly stage and prep for the back door replacement. The door and trim were installed beautifully and an excellent weather seal and locking system in place. Extremely satisfied customer.

I tried to schedule an appointment for a minor door repair for a month. I reached out to Billy and the main office line multiple times, including texting photos like they asked, without meaningful response. “Sorry, Billy was out of town for the past 2 weeks”. “Billy will call back later today.” “Here’s a quote to approve and we’ll be in touch” Etc. Etc. I have never experienced such oddly bad customer service. Do not waste your time trying to schedule a minor door repair with this company.

There are a number of highly unique complexities associated with the door and they offered a number of pro-active steps toward a solution. Our front door needed a new door jamb and door sweep. I contacted DFW Door Repair at 10 am and spoke with Billy. He had me take a few pictures of my door and text them to him, which I thought was a great idea that not a lot of companies take advantage of. He called me within 15 minutes asking if he could come look at the door in person that day. From the start, Billy was as responsive as anyone Ive dealt with. He analyzed our door and got me a quote (extremely reasonable) the same day. We set up an appointment and he kept us updated and informed every step of the way. He was very polite, professional and completed the job to our satisfaction. DFW Door Repair is now my go-to company for anything relating to our doors. They were truly fantastic to work with.

Company responded to an emergency quickly, but when further support and follow-up was needed response was slower. Mr. Cline and his workers are courteous and helpful when you are dealing with them. Work was just completed (to my satisfaction), but I cant comment as to how the work will hold up long-term yet.

Billy came right on time the day after my front door jamb was broken after a break-in. He replaced the jamb, put new weatherstripping and gave me a one year warranty on the work. For this I commend him highly. I also had a warranty claim regarding a draft coming in from the door and this was also resolved.

I had an door repair that I needed fixed immediately. I contacted them at 7p on a Sunday night and got an immediate response and some one was at my door Monday morning to fix it. Great friendly service AND my new door looks great!

We had an 8 glass door leading to our backyard, and we wanted a dog door for our 110lb dog built into it. Billy and his team made a new door (nearly identical to the current one) with a dog door built into the bottom portion. They switched the door out, allowing us to keep our original door in case we ever need or want to switch back. If we ever move, we can literally take this new door with us. We were able to keep 3/4 of the new door as glass, which was important to us for natural lighting, etc.. The install was quick and clean and very professional. The guys couldnt be any friendlier. We are extremely pleased, and we highly recommend this company.

We needed to have french doors replaced. DFW Door Repair was able to replace them on the same day we called and kept us updated on price and timeline from the moment we called.

Terrific experience. Our home was built in 1973 and the original front door has deteriorated over the years. We wanted to replace just the door but realized the frame was rotten all around the base. Billy visited my home and assessed the project. The price he quoted was less than anticipated so we ordered a new solid mahogony door and side lights, including all new framing. His team arrived on time and made quick work of removing the old stuff. They installed and trimmed out the door and a painter arrived to finish everything. Billy communicated with me frequently and was there during install to inspect the work. Big thumbs up to these guys.

I am a contractor. I ordered solid maple pre-hung french doors drom Billy at dfw door repair. I was very impressed with the quality ans craftsmanship. The communication was excellent. He made sure i had what I needed to be successful with my customer. The customer ia very happy with her new doors. Called for saggy door and possible lock out of alignment. The technician spent 5 min checking, then another 5 min putting on lubrication and screw down 5 screws to fix... then asked for 150$ min charge with nothing actually repaired.I am afraid I wouldnt use this company for any type of work.
