I will never step foot into this place again. Such a huge store with such a disgusting policy if you’re not going to refund or exchange you should make it very clear. for newcomers you could even mention it when you’re doing the check out. I know I didn’t notice any signs, maybe they’re there I don’t know. There seems to be a mentality that if a shop is in the urban setting the customers cannot bring anything back.First of all, the item I purchased didn’t even have a tag on it and who knows if it was new or used? Second of all, there was no listing of price even in the display area…it was as if she decided the price when I got to the register. I must admit I was not the most observant that day, because I was going to a funeral and was very sad.When I realized the scarf I purchased was something I would’ve never purchased, because of what was on it: skulls, laughing skills, bones; I was purchasing it to cover my legs at a Funeral of all places. Once I saw what was on it, didn’t even use it!At first when I called the store a nice gentleman sounded as if he wouldn’t let me exchange it and I would’ve bought something else and even added paid the money because there was some items I wanted. But the owner (who was she was not of African decent) was RUDE and uncaring and you know she was going to sell it to somebody else if I left it at the store. Heck she actually yelled at me. Very unprofessional. So with that I decided to take it with me and I will give it to a friend who is an artist who might want to use it in a display.Have you ever question to yourself why are there not more or any African-American owned beauty supply shops since we are some of the major Patrons? I’m not keen on letting people treat me any kind away at a store… generally the customer is always right but not in certain neighborhoods apparently. I am Newark born but now live in Virginia, one thing I will say if I was in Virginia I could’ve returned this item no questions asked.What I gathered from this experience is the owners of the store do not value their customers and they don’t have to worry about me ever going there again and I will spread the word have a good day.

My go to beauty supply store! Love it here for multiple reasons. They stay up to date, always have the most popular items in stock, and customer service is great. The one time that they didn’t not have an item in stock, the owner even offered to order it for me. Absolutely love it here and will continue going here!

Great beauty supply store for wigs and weaves. I have lived in Irvington many years and today was my 1st time ever going inside. I am in love with the various choices and plan to go back!!

I usually shop here for Lace Fronts WIGS. I drive at least 15 miles just to shop here, but today I tried on a WIG and a bug fell out and onto my arm. I tried to let the owner know, but he ignored me and the young lady assisting me with the wig and kept walking down the small aisle. I wont be shopping here anymore. Good prices, and great service

It was clean today...The aisles are way too small. Only 1 person can fit walking down the aisles. If someone comes through, both of you will have to turn sideways. They have a great variety of products at reasonable prices.

You can find original hair weaves and wigs here,very reasonable prices.
