Super busy mainly halal butcher shop with some essential grocery items. They do pre orders with pick ups as well. Great service. Friendly owners

I am giving two star just because it is over crowded place..Goat meat is too good here but when it comes to chicken it would like frozen whole chicken.This place offers preorder option you can call them and order meat.A good place with minimal groceries around..

Very bad customer service and always watch the guys when they are cutting you goat. Bought sweets but they were not fresh hard rock from middle. The guy were picking up sweet from his hand without glove.

I usualy buy the mean and some pakistani products from the. And i get easily everything what i want. On top the quality of the meat is so good speacialy beef and beef paayaa.

I went there almost 4 times. Staff there is so rude. They don’t know how to deal with customers. I want to give them zero stars. Quality of meat is bad and their prices are super expensive. The person on the reception does not know how to deal with humans

Very rude. Not listening and do their own way plenty of meat in the shop but they do not want to give you. Specially both guys at the one I think form Pakistan other from Bangladesh. Both are very rude. Their advertisement all over the year on tele but no good staff. Very bad behavior of the staff. (Counter both guys).My opinion to the honor of the shop please groom your staff. The shop is very pleasant and good but staff with bad behavior is no good.

Worst place to buy Meats very bad smell, Whole Chicken got all mixed pieces, trashed it, Goat mix, not even a single piece is good all heavy fat & full of rib bones, not even a single soft piece is there trashed it too, Rude Staff, Not recommended to buy here.

Friendly staff, good prices, nice location. We used to get our meat from Supreme halal in Kendall Park but switched to this store recently.

Weekends get busier. Dont leave the car near the entrance, otherwise you will be ticketed ;)

A bit disappointed after the many reviews. I would love to support a muslim business, but the first time I went, I waited a long time for my order (in packed store during COVID restrictions, which they werent following) and they overcharged me but I let it pass. The second time, I tried to place a phone order like what I saw others do and he hung up on me while I was trying to place the order since he didnt recognize my name. I called again and said that I just wanted to do it ahead of time, and he said again that he didnt know me and hung up. Never giving them business again.

Rude staff and I have my doubts if theyre selling Zabiha halal meat. Mars Halal meat in Edison is way more customer friendly.

I dont feel sorry at all to give 1 *,there customer service is horrible, order something, get something else. When I told the owner of the restaurant he said well you supposed to check before you leave,so thats mean they are not even confident their own service,what exactly they are going to give a customers, its a doubtful statement.I kindly request to the management please bring some improvement,which you Desperately need .

This is a go to place for economical halal meat and chicken. Very neat and clean . Employees are very friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend them.

Please note this review is separate from Shalimar Restaurant.This halal meat and grocery store has room to improve. For one, there is no concept of customer service. When you call to make an order you feel rushed and basically are asked what do you want? in a not so friendly tone. Additionally there is no bye or thank you. They just hang up. When you get there the checkout process is not bad. However they dont have too wide a variety of Indo/Pak groceries and that may be due to space issues. They never seem to have a proper supply of Naan or Roti/Paratha frozen packages.Lastly, when you get a whole chicken from this place it is cut in such a ridiculous way. When you ask for 8 pieces they are cut in any which direction the butcher chooses with no rhyme or reason. There is a standard 8 cut procedure but these people do not know it. Additionally when you make your order on the phone and come home, you will find 3 legs, 3 wings, half a breast and what not.Basically this place has room to improve. They need to understand the emerging market and the need for customer service. Please, Thank You and Bye goes a long way. Retraining butchers about proper cutting technique may be needed as well as they may not be familiar with cutting styles needed for desi dishes.

One of the worst place I ever been for shopping. Pathetic customer service. The customer service guy is very rude, has a discourteous behavior and lacks manner. They think they are favouring us providing products. The owner should aware and know how customer has been treating by their customer service people. I would not recommend this place for anyone. Stay away!! Not good at all.

I bought lamb at the grocery. The service and quality of meat were superb. I wanted the meat cut a certain way and the butcher did it perfectly. Imran was the cashier and he was friendly and helpful.

I always Get fresh meat they have Lamb, chicken, Goat, chicken.. everything you just name it extremely friendly staff i only have one problem that they are very busy on the weekend it is much better to call them before you go otherwise sometimes you have to wait 1 hour. I would recommend this store to the people who like fresh meat not the restaurant depots frozen meat.

I come here monthly 2-3 times to buy fresh goat and chicken. These people sell good meat and chicken. I beleive their chicken/goats are natural.

The clerks at the register are very rude and impolite. The owner should be aware of such bad behavior towards customers coming to the store and stop it. I refuse to shop at this store and take my business elsewhere.

I hate the staff here! They are rude, make the same mistakes constantly and then no acceptance of mistake or apology.1- My husband works 18 hour shifts everyday and we order our meat from here and get it after a thirty five minute drive to the place on a day he gets off. They have us meat cubes wrong the first time by not dividing them in one pound bags but we let it go because maybe they forgot our instructions2- Twice they sent us the wrong chicken order and the next day we had to drive all the way to Edison just to return it. They first talk to us on the phone and say You have to come today! Or else we dont exchange it. Fine, we respect the rules but we go there and no manners to be polite.They dont even realize that it is a difficult trip3- The second time they make the mistake I call the same day and they checked that I had made them write cubes but they gave me mince. First the cashier is like on the phone We gave what is written, then when he checked his mistake he goes oh yeah. I said I am coming the next day and when my husband went they say We thought you are only coming to return the meat. My husband had to stand for 40 minutes for them to exchange, he provided his receipt and everything . Not even once did they apologize or admit their fault.I hope someone else makes a halal meat store because these rude people least care of their customers and because they are making money their noses are high up in pride and arrogance. I will drive somewhere farther from now to get my halal meat and chicken because I cant stand being treated this disrespectfully when it isnt even my fault!I hope these rude people start having all their customers transfer elsewhere so they learn a lesson and I would avoid saying all this because I am from the same nation as Shalimar people but even though they originate from my country, I have to tell you all these people are PATHETIC!

Selling old meat. Stay away. Just bought mix n match goat. Showed fresh meat on display but gave very old meat. Boneless meat is very old and threw away.

Absolutely no no place to buy meat. They just dont care about your preference, very rude ppl. You just have to say what you want they will decide how muh you want. I got a strange smell there when I went not sure if its from outside or inside shop. Overall I will never again go nor I recommend it to anyone.

This place is managed by rude managers who dont treat customers with respect. I inquired about an item and the tall older gentleman behind the counter smirked and laughed with a fellow employee about the question I asked before responding to me and gave me an impression as if my question was silly.I refuse to give my business to this shop.Very unprofessional.

Pathetic customer service. Fixing your attitude towards customers will go a really long way. You arent doing anyone a favor standing behind the counter and being miserable.Good meats. But mess up the order because they will provide it as per their specification only . Frozen halal meats is seasonal and freezers are mostly empty.

Customer service is OK. We suspect the Meat is not Halal, blood coming out when cooking. As my knowledge blood never come out during cooking if its Halal.So we did not USE & threw out.

Bought goat meat here yesterday, the quality of meat was good. Price is a little high though. Update :- You cannot get the size of the meat as you want. You have to take what he gives. Poor customer service.

Horrible customer service: could not eat after waiting 1.5 hours. Never recommend to friends or family.We placed two orders because we had a group of 8 people. The first group waited for one hour and then received their food. However, the second group didnt even get their food. After several looks and requests, they finally said the food is coming. Then after a while they put the biryiani in the microwave oven to warm the biriyani which was there forever. On the mean time, the first group finished their food. So half of us had to leave without eating. There were not attempt from the management to make us feel us better. They put the biriyani which was meant for us back to the pot again. The attitude was all wrong. Never going back.

Their tag marks 4lbs chicken and when I check it after getting home it was only 3lbs.

Fresh Chicken and goat meat is really good..but this needs an uplift soon. They should avoid too many products and allow some space to walk at least at the front doors...

I have been observing this shop’s for over a few months now. The shop lacks integrity and honesty. Meat is stolen from customer and probably used as a RE-sale to another client to spike up profits. If i order full goat I expect to get full goat and am not a fool that you will still meat pieces and I will not find out. Generally goat chops come in even numbers if you order in racks. I have noticed more than twice the instances goat chops are stolen. If you Order 24 by the time you come home it is 21 (yes I count goat chops, abra ka babra....well some how goat chops disappear from my goat package on my way home). This people lack common sense and are in the market to fool people. I am never going to buy anything from this shop anymore and will advise family and friends to stay away from this place. Please stay away.

Recently bought meat from here and a piece of meat was all rotten and black. Also, the meat was not cleaned up properly (it still had fat and skin attached to it). Thinking this was a one time thing, I gave them another chance and I also let them know about the black rotten meat and specifically asked them to be careful and clean everything, but to my surprise when I brought the meat home it was very unclean and had all the fat and skin still attached to it. They got so many butchers, yet they dont care about their customers needs. I would highly advise to stay away from this place as the product is bad, customer sevice is even worse and the price is high. I will, however, go there again and hope they give me bad meat and when they do, they will get a visit from health department.
