We visited two locations of Extra Space storage both in Iselin.In the first location 725 US-1 we met Gaby, she helped us thoroughly with all our queries & showed the storage facility & walked us through.However we wanted to visit another facility which was bit more convenient from our home to see which one suited us the best.In the second 675 US-1 we met Tina, she was so informative & in no time offered us a bigger unit at lesser cost as there was some discount deal going on & she explained how we could use it to our benefit.She was so quick, thorough & witty all the while..we had a hassle free sign in & she helped us with a guided tour & we were so happyin this facility you will feel so safe, its brand new, well lit & has sensor lights so you feel safe & secured even at night.definitely recommend this facility to anyone...Great job by Tina & Gaby both.

Whole sign up took about 20 mins, got my gate code, created an account too - easy!Requested that I visit the unit within 24 hours, and a lock and key will be waiting in the unit.Very pleased!

Be very careful of renting here and make sure you read your contract carefully. After 3 months of renting I received a postcard indicating that my monthly rate will increase by $40 in 30 days…. Bringing my rental from $140 to $190 per month for a 10x10. Not only was that a slap in the face out of no where but if you want to relocate to a smaller rental you have to pay start up fees as if you are a new customer. Meanwhile the rate increase was only for me because I am an existing customer. Whatever rate they have scratched out is what you will pay plus tax. Find something cheaper and less sneaky if you can.

Tina has been extremely helpful at all times and I can say my stuff felt secure and safe in the storage site. Its good because its tempature controlled. The place is clean and well kept. Only downside I can say is the walk back and forth to the elevator and unit but other than that I totally recommend.

Love the new storage facility. The bigger elevator was definitely a huge plus when I had to move all of my important belongings from my apartment this year into the facility. I am very pleased at the customer service at this facility...I had some personal belongings that needed to be stored due to a recent move. I was very concerned between my connection with these belongings because they have sentimental value and the factor of Covid-19. All my concerns went away when after a conversation with your employee Tina. She was very thorough in her explanation of what the facility was doing different because of Covid and assured me that my belongings were safest there. I don’t kno if I would have been comfortable leaving my things there if it wasn’t for Tina. She’s the best. I made a reservation today and I went to the wrong Iselin location. I was 3 minutes away from the correct location which is 675 US HWY 1 Iselin, NJ 08830.STEPHANIE CALIXTO and TERRY with braids, rudely told me to come back tomorrow because they are closed!!! It wasnt even closing time yet. They closed the door early, after the first Iselin Facily called and alerted them that I went to the wrong location and was in route; which was three minutes away!!!First, Terry said no and then Stephanie said no, because they have to go and its too much paper work and it takes too much time!!!I went and told my Family member, we came back to the door, it still not 6PM yet!!! They were rude!!! Terry was much louder than Stephanie, demanding us to leave and come back tomorrow!!! We continued asking them please? It wouldve been different if we didnt get there before closing time!!! Then Terry rudely yells out, Dont expect them to do anything!!! Terry said, they have places to go, not sit around and help a customer. I told Terry that her behavior was that of minor and was very unprofessional. She argued until she got a reaction!!! Then, Stephanie says the exact same thing, No we cannot help you!!! Come back Tomorrow!!! I told her that the tone and unprofessionalism was unacceptable and they were very rude and not customer friendly, to say the least. I continued to say please let us move in no, were going out of town. Stephanie said no again!!! Finally, I said all of this time arguing and demanding us to wait until tomorrow, you could have completed the paperwork!!! Ive never experienced such unprofessionalism from two NJ persons working together!!! It was more important to Terry and Stephanie to leave work early to go and do whatever they said. They were rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. The question I asked Teryy was, Why arent you willing to go above and beyond for a person, a customer. She said, I dont have to. Who talks like this? especially at their work place!!! Pleas, they both need to be reprimanded!!!
