I had just bought myself a used Mini and wanted to be sure it was safe to drive. I had Eastside Bavarian perform a thorough inspection and not was it thorough. They went through every part of my Mini and even sent pictures especially of the parts that were faulty. They also took the time to explain what particular failing parts did.To be honest, I am a daughter of a mechanic. I have never trusted anyone outside of my father to look at any of my cars, nor has he trusted anyone else to look at my cars (It’s a mechanic thing 😉). I have also heard all the horror stories, like mechanics forgetting to put oil back in the car, etc. So I know how scary it is out there, especially for someone like me who doesn’t know how to service my own car.They have truly gained my trust, which as we all know is a very hard thing to come by in the car service industry. Very nice and professional via email and phone call and in person. They always get my car in quick and perform the work when they say they will, great speed and efficiency and communication. I love the digital inspection reports with photos of any problems and of the car itself with timestamps, this is very intuitive and good peace of mind. Would be 5 stars but I had to bring my car in twice for the same engine light that should have been fixed the first time. Taking time off work and driving 30+ minutes and having my girlfriend follow me for a ride back home was not ideal for a second trip, would rather it have been a one and done deal. Plus having to pay for the same labor twice is not ideal, seems rather shady and sleazy. Other than that, Oil change and maintenance have seemed good quality so far, but prices are close to dealership so not a great value for being independent service.

I was very impressed with the folks here. I had a very dead battery and could only jump my car to get it there. I had them perform an oil change and inspect the car and they were able to provide me with pictures and details of the work performed. My car was out of alignment and they were able to provide a digital report with a picture of how bad. They were so reasonably priced that I had them perform that as well as replace front brakes. They were kind enough to replace my rear marker bulbs for a whopping 8 dollars I believe! I was going to sell my Mini Countryman but decided to keep it for a while longer since its running great thanks to Eastside Bavarian. Everyone was so nice and pleasant to work with. I received timely texts about my car as well. I definitely recommend them for your Mini!

My Mini Coopers engine cooling system sprung a big leak while I was driving and overheated so I had to get an emergency tow. I had it towed to Eastside Bavarian without having taken my car there before and they were able to fit me in REALLY last minute! It was terrible timing to have a car crisis because I was supposed to be moving in less than two weeks but Dave and his team were so, so accommodating and helpful. They diagnosed the issue and talked me through the repair process. Everyone I interacted with was knowledgable and kind. It was a pleasure to work with Dave, Ryan, and their front end manager Teri. I would definitely take my car there again for any routine maintenance or big fixes (hopefully under less dire circumstances)!

Updating review with more specifics :) The most honest, organized and reputable shop I have ever worked with...and I own a land rover so I have worked with a lot of shops. We take my wifes X3 here and I recommend Eastside to everyone I know with BMWs. Just today they properly diagnosed a subtle shudder under load as a transfer case issue linked to a SB. They could very easily have pushed for a transfer case replacement that runs $5000 (mostly labor as well), but the recommended a $200 flush to see if that resolved the issue (car at 75k miles) and I am happy to report it is fully back to normal. Did we get lucky for now? YES - but this is a great example of a shop going above and beyond to do the right thing and you do not see it. Take your car here. Do it.

All I can say is that I wish I had ended up here sooner. After a nightmarish experience with the Bellevue BMW dealership, Dave and Terri were a breath of fresh air and amazing to work with. We setup a work order with a couple hundred dollars worth of routine maintenance as well as a shop hours worth or diagnostics on suspension noises. When they realized the suspension issue probably wouldnt be worth dealing with on this specific vehicle, they called me to ask how to proceed ended up not charging me for the diagnostics. Service reports came in with well documented photos, straight to my email and it is clear to me that they are proud about the work they do. If they worked on Hondas, Id be bringing all of our vehicle here.

Very professional and they seem to specialize in German cars which is why I got my audi work done with them. This was my first time. I had a lot of services done and it resulted in a pretty fat bill. Although I was happy with all work they did I was dissapointed that as part of the multipoint inspection they failed to inspect the battery which was old and close to its death. The battery died the day after I picked the car back from them and had to be jump started. Im now taking the car back to them to get the battery replaced

They sent timely service reports via email, walked me through how to check for maintenance issues on my car‘s computer, and deferred a service that was unnecessary, despite the fact that it meant my bill went down. I broke down on snoqualmie pass in my BMW X3 and called Eastside Bavarian for help. Teri talked me through what to do and got me in for an appointment. The shop is super professional and really looks out for the customers. When the diagnostic came back as a timing belt error, Eastside Bavarian let me know the part was under warranty and I’d save money by getting the car to a dealership. I wouldn’t have known about this without their help. I will absolutely come back in the future, and could not recommend them enough!

The guys at Eastside are by far and away the best mechanic shop I’ve had the pleasure to deal with. The quality of work and attention to detail is impeccable. Explanation of work, along with emailed updates, and pictures puts them a cut above the rest. Customer service is as good as it gets. I’ve been taking my car to these guys since 2008 and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Fair warning that the shop rate is not the cheapest but if you’re looking for cheap repairs, this isn’t the place for you. You definitely get what you pay for here and it’s worth every penny. Quality work, great customer service, punctuality, and clean facilities is why i consider these guys a better option than even the dealership. Great service. My mini cooper was having issues and it would cost too much to fix. Was willing to keep my car before I sold it and provided help while I was cleaning out my car.
