This is my favorite Safeway location. It is clean, well lit, and have many items that I am looking for in other places and find easily here. Their produce section is awesome!

Their pharmacy gives out conflicting information. Their dial-in number says they do walk in vaccinations. Speaking with the pharmacist they say you have to schedule online. When walking in they say they have appointments available, but online doesnt show any availability. It would be nice if they would follow the procedures established by their own company.When I asked to speak with a manager, the checker huffed, called for a manger, then huffed again and walked off. No manger ever showed up. It was the most bizarre encounter with Safeway staff I have had.The store itself looks great and seems to be well stocked, Im just not sure what is going on with the employees.

The name is not false!!!!This is a very safe location, I was being chased by the whole fbi department and they could not harm me because I was in a Safeway.

Great store to find what you want.

They do not enforce the mask mandate and there are a number of people walking around maskless. I will not be shopping there anymore. If the management do not priotize the health of customers or adhere to the law then I can not trust them.

Its the most satisfying shopping trip all the time. Being a card member and app user its easy for you to find good deals and free offers every time I shop at the store. Great size, great variety, great produce and great price.

This is a gorgeous, well stocked store with fresh, lively produce; an excellent variety of meats and seafood, and a pretty decent wine selection. The staff are kind, friendly, and helpful. Aisles are easy to navigate, and check out is usually pretty quick, even during peak shopping times.

Nice store they need to clean their bathroom better cleanliness is important otherwise just do Porta potties outside other than that nice store

Its a nice clean store, what you would expect in Issaquah, the pharmacy is the best one I visited so far and the pharmacist is extremely knowledgeable.

Always hard to navigate a store you havent been to. But the staff was friendly and helpful.

The Asian food quality is garbage anymore at this safeway it is horrible the rice are hard can’t even chew it

Check out service needs to improve. I was there for a last minute Thanksgiving shopping, when I gave the cashier my own grocery bag, he did not think about to help me at all, everyone behinds me were watching me putting stuffs into the bag and the cashier was just staring at me, definitely delayed the whole line, not sure if it is the policy to not helping customer during the pandemic or they just dont care?! Not saying I needed help, it is just basic customer service and if you see there are more customers in the line, you should want to get everyone service as soon as possible, isnt it?

Large and well stocked store. Its fairly rare for me to not be able to find what I may need for meals. The bakery is great as is the butcher/seafood area. My only complaint, which is rare, could be the lack of friendliness, etc of the person who monitors the self-checkout. Its hard to explain, he just comes off very unfriendly.

I love this store. The store itself is huge and well maintaned with extra wide isles nnd the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Its a Safeway in a strip mall. Straight forward. Dont leave your valuables in the car. Looks safe but is known for many car break-ins.

The customer service was helpful, and were able to fulfill my request.

Greta store and atmosphere

This Safeway is good, they always have fresh fruit & vegetables. Good deals on meat, and other things. When I am on the go, I come to this location. No issues here.

Its a Safeway. It has groceries. But, it also has a Starbucks and a Jamba Juice which are nice features. Its a nice big store with a good selection, a deli and a small bakery as well as a pharmacy. I prefer this one to one that is much closer to me because of the size and selection.

Store was clean and stocked and everyone was following covid safety protocols. Felt very safe!

Very clean, great selection of products, the cafe on the CL has delicious breakfast burritos, donuts, and coffee. Love their salad bar; its great for lunch with all the choices for fix ins and the price is hard to beat for a decent lunch downtown. Can be a quick grab and go, or a place to sit down and enjoy your food alone or with company.

Thank you, honest, alert, and diligent Safeway employees! Today at approximately 8:45am on May 26, 2020, I made a small purchase at the Issaquah, WA Gilman store and used the self checkout. I somehow mistakenly hit the wrong key on the keypad when it asked if I wanted cash back. Instead of $0, I must have hit the “Other” button, and I entered my PIN number. I was confused when it asked for my PIN a second time, but I entered it, took my receipt and bag, and left. The young man working the self checkout line quickly followed me out to the parking lot with money in his hand and asked me if I left money in the machine. I told him no, it wasn’t mine. He confirmed with me that I was just in the self checkout line and asked me to check my receipt. Sure enough, I entered my PIN in the cash back prompt, and that actually WAS my money he brought out to me! My PIN is a high numerical number, so that was a lot of money left behind! Thank you so much, I wish I caught your name! I hope your manager sees this.

Bright Shining Example Of Safeway Integrity !!!

Ive shipped here for a decade and was always happy to do so. But now, it seems to be the only supermarket around that isnt sanitizing carts and baskets, at least later in the evening when I shop. Every other store (including the Safeway in the Highlands) has a clearly marked area for sanitized carts and baskets. At the Gilman Safeway people drop their carts off in the front, and the next person picks it up.Theres a dispenser for sanitizing wipes. Empty as often as not.

Safeway is pretty good about their consistency during any shopping experience.

Had really good cake options in the bakery. Everyone at work asked me where I got it from.

Good options but so dirty! Went to use the restroom and both of them were awful! The one I chose not to use had blood on the seat and was so unclean. The one I had to use because my bladder left me no choice was just as dirty except no blood on the seat. This is awful! I cannot believe the store manager or any manager finds this acceptable! Do they not use this bathroom?

Friendly, place is clean....

Awkard layout of this store. I often find myself and others going back and forth across the store to find things. Workers dont seem to go out of their way to help but will answer questions. Good system for social distancing. They keep the flow of traffic regulated which is comforting.

Very clean store from a very reliable brand. Prices are always reasonable.

Overall a great shopping experience. During the pandemic however, I was sad to see the delayed response to the protective shields for employees. They were also not placed in appropriate place to be considered safe. Sad to see several employees not wearing a face mask appropriately. One cashier stood by just talking away to another cashier with her mask pulled down. Ive been in this store a few times during the pandemic and never saw an employee disinfect the credit card machines. They were very diligent with the shopping carts though.

Busy enough that most everything is fresh, wait staff spread a little thin, but friendly and helpful, popular or sale items may be sold out once in a while.

Spent way too long in here mostly looking for an employee that could help me. I was circling the store like some marathon. Once I found an employee they just directed me to the same aisle that didnt have what I needed. I couldnt even find a tag to even verify if Safeway sold it. Online it said it was available.

Ive been going to this Safeway for over 20 years. Its always had what I need at affordable prices. The Hot Food section is better than most as well! You can feed a whole family for less than 30 bucks and not have to cook a thing.

Prices are too high compared to other stores for many items. However they are open until 1 am, which is great.

I stopped in just for a quick grocery run at Safeway but was impressed at how clean and how well staff were managing the check-out lanes. This is something that happens frequently at Safeway stores. Management is very attentive at how quickly the lines move and often open additional lanes just to keep things moving smoothly and quickly. I totally appreciate their efforts and I think they deserve kudos for their efforts. It is one of many reasons I return to Safeway again and again.

Its a nice store I one problem bathrooms are for one person. I really had to use it couldnt get in the car go some place else. It was a 811 911 emergency couldnt shop I was in danger of letting the kids out with no pool. Luckily the Starbucks connected to the store had a restroom it was about to get bad!

Id a given 4 stars, but the long haired kid working in the deli is rude, has a smart mouth, terrible customer service. He needs to be in a position that he doesnt talk to people or staple his mouth shut!

I was looking for some Biscoff butter and I couldnt find it but instead of it being in the bakery section like in Fred Meyers on Benson they have it in the same aisle as a peanut butter and he helped me find it right away he even showed me himself I appreciate that dont remember his name though

A serious lack of interest in helping customers. The store is pretty much like all of them. They offer special rewards through their own club, and the checkers are clueless on how it works. Safeway is only cost effective if you shop the sales And use your club card...it would be nice if the employees knew how it works.

I like Safeway as its very predictable in price, quality and selection. I buy all my herbal teas from there like Tazo, Celestial and Yogis. Also, I always buy veganise and other sundries from there. I usually dont go to this location but I needed up going for a quick trip and found it very much like Safeway on Sammamish plateau where I visit usually.

Had to wait quite awhile in the service deli. There were a lot of customers and 1 employee working 3 different spots. I ordered the shanghai dinner. It was so so, some was a bit old. I asked about the coconut shrimp, they said it was fresh. I bought 12 of them and they were hard as rocks.

People stocking the store are helpful and pleasant. Everything looks fresh and the wine selection is outstanding, for a grocery store. Today I encountered an unpleasant cashier - male, older, short. His light was on indicating his Lane was open, but when I set my things on the Belt, he said Im closed. No apology, no excuse me, nothing. I calculated the amount of time it would take me to get into another line and I didnt really have time, so I decided to forfeit what I intended to purchase. I said okay, thank you anyway, goodbye. Certainly didnt have time to return my selection, that would have taken longer than it would have taken to get into another line and purchase it. So after Im walking away, he calls after me oh just leave it right here! Ill put it away for you! Have a good day! All very sarcastically, of course. It was apparently important for him to have the last word. Im never shopping in that store again. There are plenty of other grocery stores in Issaquah where people are polite.

Been going to this Safeway for over 25 years! Even worked here for a couple. Great store. Very clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Expanded their organics section and offers local varieties. Lines can get long sometimes. Great deli food, and even has a Jamba Juice!

I cannot deal with this Safeway! They never have enough cashiers and force customers to ring up their own items. Its so obvious they do not want to pay for cashiers, next the customer will be sticking their shelves for them. Customers are not their top priority.

After decades of Safeway business, this particular store has a very incompetent MGER... He refused to cash a qualified payroll check, personal I believe he is racist and he refused service due to this... The next Safeway store I drove to happily cash my check and had not one issue... This store manage is clearly racist and will never have my business again, not that they obviously careBEWARE AND BOYCOTT RACIST ESTABLISHMENT SUCH AS THIS

Its been awhile since Ive shopped there, last few times the handicap cart is always out of service or half way through the store the battery run out, poorly serviced, Not handicapped friendly!!!
