Sam Peter is a local business, and really feels like it. They’re super friendly and helpful, with full-time employees that remember you and your order. Delivery was free and fast, they have tons of options in store and by custom order, the price was comparable to bigger stores, and they worked with us on payment terms. Most importantly, we really love our couch! Nothing bad to say at all.

I walked into the showroom tired, dazed, and in need of help finding the right piece of furniture to fit my need and my budget. I was met with a very patient upbeat and knowledgable host of customer service reps who walked me through finding a great chaise lounge, picking out color and fabric, all keeping my bottom line in mind. They even helped me with taking measurements of my home entrance, everything! This team works well together and Seems to sincerely enjoy helping. Sam Peter is a must stop shop for furniture in the Cortland, Dryden, & Ithaca area.

Wonderful service!We bought a sofa and some reclining chairs at Sam Peter about three years ago and have been largely happy with the quality of the furniture for the value we paid.Recently, the wood veneer on the chairs footstools started peeling, and we contacted Sam Peter to find out what could be done. Mark called the manufacturer and even though theyre no longer making that particular chair, Mark was able to get replacement parts - and when we showed up at the store with the footstools, they met us at the door with the parts and the tools to make the swap. Everything looks great again with no charge to us!

Loved shopping for a recliner here! They are very patient and never hover while you try out different items, making you feel completely at ease. Happily answered all my questions. Delivered to my apartment within 24 hours! Would highly highly recommend this place!

Overall excellent experience.The staff are friendly and go out of their way to look for items that you need. The selections they have in their showroom are great. Everything they sell is high quality and fairly priced. Will continue to shop here for all my future furniture needs.

Just received the furniture I purchased, and I can say Im happy with the whole transaction, from the minute I walked into the store, to the delivery. Efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly, yet low-key. And the couch, love seat, and lamp I bought actually look better in my place than they did in the store! All in all, a good experience.

This is a treasure of a store and Id recommend it to anyone looking for furniture in the Ithaca area. The staff is friendly and their showroom is low-pressure. They have a good selection and the showroom is actually a lot bigger than it seems from the outside since there are two stories. They have some things in stock in their warehouse and can order other things.After a nightmare experience trying to order furniture online from Wayfair, we went here and bought a couch which they agreed to deliver the very next day.
