Nice people. The store is a little old run down. Its small. The allowed me to hold a couple different bass guitars that I was looking at, but it would have been nice had they offered to let me hear one. Its kinda a big purchase ($300-$1000). 💵 Undecided. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Had a great time with Joel at the end of the day today. He showed me these AWESOME new Ibanez Basses at good prices! They also are the only place in Mid-Michigan [that I have found] that have these Blue Silicone / Jelly Bass picks. They are UH-MAZE-IN!

Great staff, very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. Guitar lessons are great for all levels of people. Prices are fair and they sell a great range of products.

Stopped in on a whim while I was in the area. Bought some strings chatted with the owner a bit. Nice little local store.

Came in with cash in my pocket, asked if a mandolin came with a case, was told by owner that $2000 mandolins come with cases. No wonder he needs to get out of the business, would have bought a case also. Good luck!

Like this place, its one of the few places in town that the people know what theyre talking about when it comes to music and making music.4 star review instead of 5 star because they screen their phonecalls to prevent telemarketers from getting through but it makes it inconvenient for the rest of us.Great selection though and I love to jam

I love it Ive been going there for seven years to practice guitar and it is amazing.

Staff are really helpful. Purchased wireless mic setup. They unboxed, put batteries in, tested and configured it all before purchase. They talked about the setup to ensure the selected parts were the correct ones.

Love playford. They do great instrument repair work.

Only music store in Jackson, MI. They sell a variety of items from strings and reeds to instruments, cables, and PA requirement.. If they dont have it, they can usually order it for you. No big stuff here like pianos, though.
