I took my 2021 front-wheel drive car in because I had a flat in the front. For whatever reason the tires were installed on the rear of the car? (Front wheel drive) why??? Then the other tire that was practically new I was never asked what I wanted done with it. Only to get home and realize that they had kept the other tire that was virtually new. And charged me for disposal of that good tire. Im very disappointed ☹️☹️

When Jimmies towing brought me to Discount i was initially told i had a 3 hour wait to get tires! I told the guy i had to be in Clarkston befor 7:30 pm. He said i cant promis you anything but i will try to get you on your way as quickly as i can. 1 1/2 hours later i was ready to roll! Made it to my concert in time! Thank you Discount tire.

We were on the road today for my husbands work and had a flat tire on our trailer about an hour or so away from home pulled in to discount tire asking for help and they would not help us at all even though we were that far away from home and had no other place to go. We were driving on a flat tire acted like they didnt even care. We then went to Belle Tire who were more than happy to help us out!

Walked in after getting a flat and explained that I was trying to get home to Cleveland. They got me back on the road in the safest way possible. So happy and grateful for such great guys!!

I have been going to this location for 7 years. A few months back I went in to get my tires balanced and inspected because of some shaking at highway speeds. I was told my tires could not be balanced because my rim was bent. They encouraged me to buy all new rims for all 4 wheels. They also said the bent rims were probably what was causing the air to leak from the tires. For months I dealt with the shake while I saved up money for rims.Once I had the money I swung by the local Honda dealer as I thought it would be easier to get the stock rims there. Not only did the dealer have the same pricing on the same tires as Discount... but they also balanced them just fine, having found no issues with the rims. As a bonus, the dealer did a full inspection of brakes and suspension while they were at it and gave them a clean bill of health.Im not saying this location is bad... I went 7 years without issues. Im just saying that the folks theyve got working here arent always up to the task when you compare them to the mechanics at the dealership. When competence is combined with equal pricing of products... it makes the choice of where to go a no brainer to me.

Ive had multiple bad experiences here. I had aftermarket rims and tires out onto one of my cars a couple years back. However the tech didnt install hub spacers and made the car basically undrivable, to add onto this one wheels lugnut were only put on hand tight and not torqued down, they did however fix all these issues afterwards. Now just a few days ago I had my car brought in to have some new tires put on, but when I got home I discovered only 3 of my 4 tires were changed, I immediately called the store furious and they had said one of my lugnuts was spinning which was the fault of them becauses Ive had that tire off plenty of times. The official response they gave was that they refused to change it out because its now stripped out. So I payed for 4 tires and was never told about being scammed on the 4th when I picked it up. They offered me no compensation or free repair for their own incompetence. Never go here theyre out of their league.

Made an appointment week ago for balance and rote of tires. Git ther at 8:55.Already 4 vehicles in parking lot. When I stepped up to customer service I was asked what I needed. I said I have an appointment for 8. I got right in!! Done in 20 minutes if not less.My advice: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!

Brian that works the front desk lobby area, absolutely professional, hard working and great with customers. Not only did I receive great service, I watched him take great care of many other customers needs. Just purchased 4 tires in TX a week ago and found a screw in one of them today. This location replaced the tire under warranty and had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Everyone there was very professional, friendly and quick!

This place has changed...but for the better. I was very hesitant to let anyone work on my Corvette due to its fiberglass body and specific jack points.Went in just for tire balancing and while reinstalling their techs noticed two lugs that were cross threaded. They weren’t sure if they were like that previously or if they mistakingly did so.They not only covered the parts and labor for new lugs, they didn’t even charge for rebalancing. I was shocked.Everyone makes mistakes. All a customer can ask for is honesty. The other tire companies on Lansing Ave and Wisner have damaged my cars on multiple occasions and never claimed responsibility. They deceive and defend to avoid any culpability and protect their bottom line while ultimately damaging their reputation.So it’s nice to witness a manager like the one at Discount who cares more about people than protecting his profits. I will return and recommend them to everyone I know.

I have an uncommon size tire so generally have to get them ordered in which was the case this time the employee that helped me over the phone was very friendly and helpful, he had also stated that he would call when they came in and that it could take up to 2 days. My tires came in the next day the employee had called as promised and had set me up with the same day appointment. When I got there they were super busy so needless to say I didnt get right in at my appointment time but the employees were very friendly and kept assuring someone would be with me shortly. Once some one was available they were quick to help and listen to the request I had. I then only had to wait about 15 minutes, once in the bay the team went straight to work and had my ready to go in about 30 minutes. The staff were very friendly and worked very well as a team, and if I recall the name correctly Kyle had even found a cap to replace the one I was missing. Nice job guys!!! Keep up the good work.

Husband ordered replacement tire 4 passinger front. Went N2 Discount Tire 2 have the new tire remounted. Was not aware an appointment was needed 2 have the new tire mounted. Waited 45min 2 have the new tire mounted. All went well. I did watch the process.

Ordered tires online. Had a call the next day saying they were available. Was able to get an appt within an hour. Appt was for 1 and I was out of there by 1:40. Everyone I dealt with was very personable.

Dropped in here on a Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock to have my lawn mower tire mounted to the rim this tall skinny guy with glasses mount my rear tire to the rim in 30 seconds and had me on my way. Was the beat part. The second best was he didn’t charge me a dime All he asked was that I make my next tire Purchased with them I said you got a deal discount tire that was wicked awesome of you guys thanks again.

I bought some Michelin tires and new rims here, great place, good service.. Didnt scratch the rims during installation like some other places, balanced them really well, put up with my constantly returning for rotations (I have them rotated every 5k or so).

Not responsive, called three times didnt answer twice, on hold for 16 minutes third time. Gave up

I had a flat tire one morning b4 work, called Discount tire, n they got me in, within 30 minutes! They replaced the valve n spent almost an hour of THEIR time on my tire trying to figure out why it went flat.N DIDNT EVEN CHARGE ME ANYTHING!!

Unfortunately, this will be my last time at Discount Tire. Made an appointment for 8am. Showed up at 8:08 (went back and checked my GPS). Was told that because I was not there at exactly 8am (when they open) I could not be checked in and would have to reschedule.When I called 3 days prior to make the appointment, the person on the phone told me they were wide open Friday and Saturday so either day wouldnt be a problem.I have a motorhome and it would take some time to complete the work. They knew this because I scheduled the appointment a few days in advance and they took all my information.

All the associates are extremely friendly and they are very helpful especially if you dont know your way around a car. Always go here for a tire change and they have the same model of tire so they match. Extremely affordable as well.

I do not appreciate being told something will be there the next day and the tire not arriving and waiting the entire weekend and still having to call after being told they would call me. We were half way into a trip to Detroit when we had a front tire gave out on us. We originally dealt with Chad when we were only going to get 1 tire. After some thinking we decided to get 2 front tires. I dealt with Kris the manager and he gave me a very fair price. After learning that a third tire was shot we ultimately went with 4 tires. I went back and negotiated with Kris again. I know he was tired and probably secretly wished that we had ended up at a different tire store. However, he remained professional and courteous. He gave us a good deal on a set of 4 tires. They were very busy that night. It was already an hour and a half past closing by the time we left and they still had more customers in the waiting room. He did not turn any customers away. It turned a crappy situation into a pleasant surprise! 😊

The wait can be long sometimes, but the service is always professional. Good selection of tires at multiple price points. Prices are comparable to everyone else. I appreciate the reminders for tire pressure and rotation.

Ive been taking all of my tire and wheel business to these guys for the last 8 years. Every time I get work done there, I walk away impressed with their honest advice and superior service. They are by far the best tire shop Ive ever worked with. Thats not true of all Discount Tire locations, but the Jackson Michigan store is fantastic.

Todays visit to this location was one of the best Discount Tire experiences Ive ever had! The team offered me call ahead scheduling, and I had a 30 second wait time upon arrival. My hometown Discount location performed a rotate & balance a few weeks ago, but didnt balance the tires. These guys nailed the balance job, and now everything is nice and smooth!

Friendly service, which is as fast as it can be. Sometimes services can take a couple of hours, but that is simply due to volume of customers. Ive been coming here since 2013, and they are always very helpful. This is MY tire place, and I wouldnt take my business anywhere else unless a service wasnt offered here. I have had bad experiences with Belle Tire, and would suggest not going there if it can be avoided.

I dont even come in that often but like twice a year and they remember me by name and are always extremely friendly.My first time buying tires for my car was 3 years ago and they gave me my first two tires for free!They always have the best intentions, and for a large company, is hard to find.Overall a great environment, there is also Christian music often playing so that is super great to here as well. 😊

I am a long time customer of this store. The have out fitted 5 of my vehicles, 3 of my moms, 3 of my oldest sons and now my youngest sons. I have recommended them to several if my friends. My friends are always and have been repeat customers also.

Today was the first time I was really disappointed with them. I made an appointment and was there before time. Told it would take about an hr to rotate my tires. I sat and waited in the waiting room for almost an hr. I moved and was near the window for about 15 minutes and during that time saw my car just sitting there. I went up and asked how much longer as car is still there. He found out it was done but no one notified me. They always call your name and have the car brought up. The person just gave me the keys and said oh it just got done which was not true. No apology or explanation. Im very ticked off about the poor service today as you can tell

Claustrophobic environment even though there are windows all around. Parking is very constricted. Very busy, lots of people. Long Waits. Somewhat of a stressful atmosphere. However good prices, great service. I ended up going to Belle Tire though who will meet or beat Discount Tire prices, and has a calming relaxing atmosphere, and an awesome waiting room with TV, free fresh Coffee & vending machines, and comfortable chairs.

Absolutely love them here. Always honest about what I need and dont need. They work great with any budget. Brian is amazing! My family enjoys working with him.

The wait times can be long, but its expected if youre a drop-in without an appointment. However, they still manage to make good time on service/repairs. The service and staff are second to none, absolutely phenomenal. New tires are some of the cheapest around and always at a fair price. I will never buy tires or get service anywhere else until Discount Tire gives me a reason to.

Not to happy just called and the fella that answers the phone I asked him the price on a used tire 195/60r15 he said 48.00 dollars out the door I told him that I could buy one at Sams club for thirty eight brand new the a.. hole told me well buy a hundred Ill never but a tire from there again he needs to be put on parking lot duty clean a couple bathrooms then he will appreciate his position thats all Im sorrybuy so true
