Teton Motors does a great job. i had been familiar with their service department, and Bruce, their service manager is a very straight, no nonsense, tell you what you need, and do it without ever worrying that stuff i dont need is being added or that im being pushed into additional service. When my old Subaru was damaged they immediately quoted me a repair, and then replaced my damaged car with a new one again without any gimmicks or games. We bought a new Subaru Crosstrek for our daughter. We worked with John Johnson at the dealership and honestly we couldnt have had a better experience! Brought car in for a recall repair and figured I would have them fix an electrical issue with the car causing the running tail lights to not work. I told them that fuses kept blowing so there must be a short in the system. I got the car back and all they changed was head and tail lights and charged me 140 bucks and must never have checked the lights before it was sent out because they would have been blown again. So my wife being none the wiser drove the car home in the daylight no problems noticed. We realized the running lights were out again and were frustrated realizing they didnt fix anything. Called Bill and told him I didnt want to pay another 140 to have a problem fixed a second time. Upon a second inspection they found the wiring harness to the trailer had a blown fuse and was causing a short in the system. Because it was an aftermarket trailer harness, they didnt feel responsible for their lack of knowledge to initially diagnose and properly solve the electrical problem or deduct any off the cost to make things right. They charged me another 288$ with no cost breaks. I would have been fine paying that if they had done what I had asked the first time because I know electrical issues can be time consuming. If you must use teton Subaru, ask if Scott can work on your car.

Test drove a few cars, figured out exactly which Subaru I wanted, they didnt have it. They said they could get it from another dealer and they would mark it up $3,000 over what they paid the other dealer. I agree and get the car.22 months later the battery dies. I remove the battery to replace it myself (its easy to get to) and it has a big Subaru sticker on it 30 month free replacement, no asterisk, no conditions. Great, battery is 26 months old. I call Teton Motors, they say I cant just bring the battery in for the warranty I have to take the car in too. Ugh. I just removed the battery so I have to deal with that. And its a Friday afternoon, you have to bring it in on Monday. So down a car for the weekend. Go to pickup the car and I get a bill for $200.Me, The sticker says its 26 months old and free replacement under 30 months. Teton Motors, yes only for the original owner. Me, based on the sticker and the timing, the other dealer put the battery in. Teton Motors, So youre not the original owner then. You need to prove the other dealership put it in. Me: Since when are dealers considered the original owners of anything? If thats the case, no private individual is ever the original owner and you can deny all warranties. Teton Motors: Can you prove the other dealer put it in? Me: No, of course not, you bought it from them, not me. Me: So youre not covering the warranty then? Teton Motors, Nope. But try your salesmen, he can cover it under FI (I dont know what that is.)So I go talk to Dave Crook who happens to be in his cubicle, and the guy that sold me the car. Dave: No I cant cover it.Whats the point of buying from a deal and Subaru parts if they dont honor their stickers and their word? Will not buy another car here or any genuine Subaru parts again.

They scratched my bumper by being careless lifting the car up for an oil change and then when I needed go get it repaired they were only willing to have me get it repaired from the body shop that quoted the lowest price. When I showed that quote to the auto body shop that had a higher quote, they told me the quote was low because spot filling was going to be used instead of the proper method to repair the scratched bumper. Way to go Al Belford, you don’t know how to take care of your customers!

These guys repaired my head gasket (and timing belts, etc.) on my 2009 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport while I was up in Jackson working for the summer. While it was a bit more expensive than it would have cost back at home in Laramie, the price was fair and they turned it out in ONE DAY! Blew my mind! The work was great and has held up nicely. My regular mechanic says now my car will run up to another 150K+ with regular oil changes!

Bill was amazingly helpful. I had a lot of things wrong with my car and was on a time crunch, as I was traveling back home from a summer job and needed to drive a long way through various weather conditions. Even though they were busy he got us right in and even gave us a loaner car so we could still enjoy driving around the national park while our car was in the shop. Unfortunately the technician didnt fix both of the issues on the first day, so we had take it in a second day, which set back our time plans.. That was frustrating. However, I have nothing but good things to say about Bill.

We had a very positive experience buying our new car from Darren Wood at Teton Motors Subaru. Since we are from out of town, we communicated quite a bit via phone and email before driving to Jackson. By the time we arrived, we knew the value of our trade-in and the cost of the new car, and a large portion of the paperwork had already been completed. We were not able to get to the dealership until late afternoon, so they stayed open late on a Friday to help us complete our purchase. Undoubtedly they were all ready to go home, but at no point did they make us feel rushed. We are very hopeful that the service department will be as helpful and professional as their sales staff.

Ive been here twice now for service and I couldnt be happier. The first time I had my battery inspected and replaced and the second time I had them look at a tire that was going flat. I was really worried I was going to have to buy 4 tires but they were able to patch it for thirty bucks. Theyre also exceptionally nice and very fast.
