Midas took great care of Aunt Sharons battery problems. Her beautiful Saturn turned 21yo and still going strong, needed a little loving care in the battery department. Phelps towing, Bryan, got her running with a jump start and Midas did the rest. Thank you all, for being team players!!

Had been bringing my car here for awhile for oil changes on my wifes car. The last time the tires werent rotated when they said they were. This time they couldnt get my tires off and damaged 2 of my lugnuts in the process. Then didnt tighten my oil filter and coated my engine bay in oil then proceeded to over fill my vehicle by double. They corrected the repair but does not make me feel confident in them anymore.

Most of the time I like bringing my truck here but this last time n I know they tried but got charged $700+ to be told I need to take it to the dealership n dont get me started on theyre now charging me

I called to see if they could put my Hid Xenon headlights in my 2011 Chevy Impala very easy set up in fact I put the 1st set on myself pop the headlight out n bam put the lights in guy on the phone told me they would have to take the bumper off and I Specifically told him I did not have to do that but he insisted on telling me “If we do it then it’s gonna be $100 “ simply trying to get money out of me smh. Little did he know I called G force 1st they said they would do it the way I did for cheaper they were jus jam packed and they actually referred me here so thanks again G force ‼️

Service was well enough but prices seem a bit high however it is convenient enough if theres any hiccups in the process.

I took my 2017 Camaro to have an aftermarket exhaust put on, a few days after the installment I had noticed that one pipe was sticking out more than the other one. I called Midas and the guy told me he did this because he wanted it to look nice, I didn’t understand how this could look nice. I then took it to another place for a second opinion, they took it apart and told me that where the cuts were made were completely uneven, and were not sanded down of any rough, or sharp edges. So all in all, I had to pay someone else to fix it who I should’ve taken it to in the first place.

A year and a half ago I had my exhaust system replaced at a local company they did a half-hearted job gave me an aftermarket muffler it went out And they told me it was going to cost more than an initially cost me to get a new one put in and they were going to put the same garbage back. I went to Midas they took care of me gave me a better muffler I got an even better deal and I trust the Midas touch.😃

They try saying they didnt put hole in gas tank but I know it wasnt leaking fuel because was just in air day before dont let them sell you lies

If i could leave zero stars i would. We took our car in to have a brake inspection done on September 1 we got a call that the technician totaled our vehicle it took 7 weeks to recieved the insurance check it was a nightmare dealing with these people. I do not suggest taking your car here for nothing not even a flat tire.

I have only been to this Midas one time. I was not impressed at all. They only charged $20 for an oil change but I dont think they used the filter I provided and the oil was not at the fill line after the change. My car was the only one in the shop and it still took almost 45 minutes to do a simple oil change. The mechanic told me my car had an oil leak even though it does not. I bought oil and took my car home and changed it myself like I should have to begin with. This was a waste of $20. I would recommend you go elsewhere for an oil change.

I ended up at Automotive Perfection on Spring Arbor Rd. They fixed what Midas messed up on. I had a routine oil change at Midas and when I got home oil was leaking profusely from the bottom of my car. There was a large oil spot in my driveway. I proceeded to drive my car to the closest mechanic, Automotive Perfection, because I was afraid all of the oil had leaked out and of driving too far and risk burning out my engine. Apparently, when Midas changed the oil, whom ever mechanic there was responsible, or irresponsible rather, failed to reinstall the oil clamp gasket back when draining the oil. Also, they spilled oil all over bottom of engine compartment when changing oil filter. The mechanic at Automotive Perfection cleaned everything of spilled oil, put in additional oil, and installed missing gasket for less than I paid Midas to do oil change.Moral of the story, take your oil change elsewhere, not to Midas. They are incompetent for oil changes.

These guys are cost-effective, as I believe they were charging $60 an hour, not sure. I would say they are good, especially IF you know what work you need. In other words, I question their diagnostic ability. But for general work, OK.

I have been to this location several times and really appreciate their service. Good customer service skills, and the manager is very nice and friendly. They even stayed past their closing time for 2 hours to finish a repair. Manager drove out of his way to a wearhouse to get a new part for my car.

I drive through town and needed to get air in my tires, but the compressors at both the gas stations were not working! Midas took the time to pull us into the shop and full up the tires for free, even though they had other things they were working on! Thanks so much, cold-weather tire-topping-off Midas!

Oil pan was stripped during routine oil change from one of their mechanics over-tightening the drain plug/screw. Cheap oil change turned into $400 oil pan replacement. Manager made zero effort in resolving issue and I have been given the run-around for the last month.Avoid this place.

Went in to replace the rear differential cover. Did it for less then anyone else in town. Took a little longer then I would of liked, but the job was done and that is the most important.

I was a bit skeptical to go in after reading a lot of 1 star reviews but I couldnt resist the $19.99 oil change deal they have going right now. Glad I did, even when their price goes back to normal its still about $10 cheaper than one of places down the road. I had a great first time experience with both the tech that did the oil change, Mike, and the the guy who get me all set up (cant remember his name). Thanks guys, it was actually a pleasure!

Took my Malibu in for a headlight change when i leave no power sterring. I take it back say its a sensor in the steering column they cant fix. Well it worked fine when i arrived. Now i have no power steering and @#$% ot of luck.

I went to this location for a routine oil change and to have them inspect and tighten a loose heat shield on my Subaru. They recommended I change my air filter so I had them place a new filter as well. I was told there was nothing wrong with my heat shield and that there was nothing that could be tightened. I paid almost $100 total during this visit. I ended up taking my car to the dealer for the heat shield. The dealership found the heat shield was loose (as I suspected), and tightened it for me (problem completely resolved). After doing a standard routine inspection, they also told me an incorrectly sized air filter was placed and that it could damage my engine over time. They highly recommended I replace the filter that I was given at this location and so I paid for a replacement. They physically showed me that the filter that was placed on this vehicle was the incorrect size. I then went back to this location and requested a refund. I was told to come back on Friday (manager was not available). I came back on Friday and the manager told me that he would have to talk to a different manager to grant a refund. I ended up leaving the filter with them. I was told he would contact me back and tell me when I can come back in for a refund. I was never called back. I called them back today and the manager told me they are not going to grant a refund. The manager felt that they were doing the right thing and that the after market part they put in is an acceptable alternative. Whos going to pay for damage to my engine if something goes wrong? The manager said he would... what a joke, they wont even refund a $16 filter! Its not worth taking that chance. Ill take the sunk cost, but you shouldnt take a chance on this place. *THEYRE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THE BOTTOM LINE THAN YOUR SAFETY* -- read that again. Avoid this place like the plague. There are plenty of other places that will charge similar and do a better job with better customer service.

F just F as a grade. Didnt know the W stood for weight in the nomenclature of oil, usually a bad sign. Didnt know 0W40 was actually an oil, strike two. Wouldnt use the brand new Mobil1 purchased for them to use because it was customer supplied. Twenty-2 years in the Active Duty military, lived all over, never heard that lame excuse before. So much for trusting the Midas Touch, good commercials but the trust stops there!

Went there for a vehicle inspection, took then 3 hours to look at my car when they told me 2, and then took them an additional hour to put my tires and oil pan cover back on.Told me they wanted $1000 for front struts as well (which is a ridiculous price). The vehicle also now makes an additional noise which leads me to believe they loosened something to get me to come back in.All in all, I was almost late to work even though I had made an appointment before hand (work was at 4 and my appointment was at 11). This was despite me telling the staff over and over to put my tires back on so I could leave. I also had to pay money for the inspection, so it wasnt like I owed them for it. Im definitely going somewhere else next time.*UPDATE* i had a personal Mechanic check up and they didnt tighten the rear bolts to the point where I could have actually died. He was able to tighten them with HIS hands because they were so loose. On top of that, one of the bolts is missing and one of them is completely stripped. I have to spend more money to fix what they broke and had I not discovered it, I would have went on the freeway and very possibly would have died

Oil changes at a reasonable price

We were passing through the area from Indianapolis and had a flat tire. AAA to the rescue but we couldnt finish the trip on a mini spare. Stopped at Midas to buy a tire but their balancer was down. They sent us to Discount Tire down the road. They had a 3 hour wait but agreed to put a new tire on the wheel if we could find someone to install it. Back to Midas we went where they graciously installed the tire for free, right away.For over 30 years, I have used various Midas locations for service and the staff is consistently pleasant, helpful and professional. That says a lot about the corporate culture!Thank you Midas in Jackson MI!

So the lady I bought my car from gave me a legit receipt of car inspection/ new snow tire installment from Midas. They told her the noise from the back was the snow tire reaction charging her $500 and $70 for passenger window lining. They taped it up. Poor lady with oil change paid $1000 for all services and inspections. Guess what my tire popped, the ball joints are bad in the back making the noise, tire rod is bad, window was taped up not fixed. BelleTire will fix it way cheaper. Moral of the story Midas=thieves

Nothing we liked. Seems quite overpriced since weve been there before but they were the only ones open nearby. Took in around 830 am, they asked if we could leave it. We did with the thought they would be getting it in to work on. Called at 11 am and we were told a bay was opening up and would be a couple of minutes until the car was looked at. Nothing until 300 pm when we called back to hear the same response. Waited until 430 and was told the same thing. When we asked why were told that before we received a childs response of I didnt tell you that. No more business for midas from us. Thanks for wasting our day. Dont bother responding you Car because if you did you would do something about it and with the other negative reviews it shows you havent and wont.

Had my oil changed there several but decided to change my own oil for the first time... they over tightened my oil filter cap and it didnt even have the gasket on it when i removed it.... i wouldnt be surprised if they even changed my oil filter and they manage to find 100 different things wrong with my vehicle and give me an outrageous estimate every time i go save your money and youtube how to change your oil

The work I had done got done well and was thoroughly explained to me what he was doing and why. I switched to Midas from another shop in Jackson that I was going to for the past 10 years because Tim did such a good job.

Charged $62 for an synthetic oil change which should be $46 says Google. I agreed to it when the manager said hed knock down the price, but come the end, he only knocked off $3. The oil itself costs $30. Also found out that the glove box spring was destroyed. Are you kidding me?

Went to Midas for an oil leak, they were able to diagnose the issue without an oil leak diagnostic package and ordered the part. Took my vehicle in a week later for the repair. I was told that it would take an hour, it took 30 minutes from the time they drove my car in the garage and out. That was great, however, they charged me for an hour labor. When I mentioned that I was charged for an hour labor and it took 30 minutes, I was informed that the book says it takes an hour so they charge by what the book says. I was also charged for an oil leak diagnostics package, in which was decided last visit wasnt necessary, since they could visually see the leak. I was over charged for labor and items not necessary or performed. Plus when I left my oil was still at minimum and the oil maintenance light was on. You would think with being charged for the above the least they could have done is reset the oil sensor and filled the oil. The oil maintenance light was on before also due to low oil from the leak, an oil change had just been performed two weeks prior to the repair. I also noticed and mentioned to the worker that oil footprints were left on my floormat. He informed me it was water and would dry clear. I informed him that when I initially brought my car in for an estimate, oily footprints were also left on my floormat and didnt dry clear. I had to clean it myself. He assured me it would dry clear and if it didnt I could bring it back and he would clean the oil up. I informed him that that was very unprofessional and inconvenient. To no surprise the oil did not dry clear and I have to scrub my floormat once again to get the oil up. I will never bring my vehicle to Midas or recommend this franchise to anyone.

Horrible service! End up losing my tire cap not once but twice after an oil change. After asking them about it they said it was nothing they could do about it.

Took my truck in for rough running and was sold a tune up, with a couple of ignition coils, plugs, coil boots, an injector service, and new drive belt, to the tune of $1000. After checking the itemized invoice I find that all of the part numbers are exactly the same as AutoZones part numbers, and the prices are rough 400% markup from AutoZone. In addition to that I see that there is no such thing as a coil boot, it is part of the ignition coil itself. When I called to question this I was told no, on your truck they are two different parts, despite the fact that I could clearly see they were not. This was added to my bill just they could charge me an extra $32 for something that doesnt exist. The exact ignition coils that they got from AutoZone, even though they said We dont get parts from AutoZone (I saw the AutoZone truck behind the building delivering parts earlier in the day), for $42, Midas touch turns a $42 part into $137. $4 Spark plug + Midas touch = $17 spark plug. They also quoted me some brae work for $800, same work at Belle Tire was quoted at $500, and Jims Collision for $450. Watch out for the Midas touch apparently to this store it means you get to take it dry.

Like this place and trust their work.
