I had to pick up pictures I printed this week at Walgreens. I went in and my son (1) would not stop screaming. I know it was loud and annoying, but the employees were SOOO kind to me. You don’t see that a lot nowadays. All three employees I saw were wonderful. Thank you!
This is possibly the worlds worst pharmacy. Not even hyperbole. People in Aleppo standing in lines outside of destroyed pharmacies with bombs dropping around them and the smell of death and mustard gas thick in the air are like, Well at least we arent at the Walgreens in Jackson, Michigan. Then everyone in that line laughs at us.Every time I come in here they are incredibly backed up. And the dude in the lab coat always says, Sorry! We are short on people today. I mean, if you are short of people once, that is unfortunate. If it happens twice ... thats a bummer. If it happens every day, you are not short of people, you are short on planning.Have an appointment at 1100 for a COVID vaccine? Sorry about your luck. It is currently 1125 and dude in the lab coat hasnt come out yet. He will see you when he feels like it. Cant be helped. Short on people today, you see.Had a prescription called in this morning? Sorry! Need another 15 minutes. Had it called in last week? Sorry! Need another 15 minutes. You see, they arent going to do ANYTHING AT ALL until you show up.Next time I will have my prescription called into the aforementioned pharmacy in Aleppo. This place is TERRIBLE.
BOTH LANES ARE OPEN. They are currently processing COVID testing in the left lane, so only go to the right lane if you’re picking up a prescription or dropping off and you’re not making any additional store requests. Basically, keep the right lane quick or else you’ll clog up the lines leading to the main road 👍 They’re working hard. Give them a break.
I came in for drive-thru COVID testing, had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time for them to get around to testing me, and then they failed to record the test result, so it was a complete waste of my time. Go somewhere else for your COVID testing.
If you have nothing else planned for your day zi would recommend this walgreens. Very long wait times and horrible customer service.
Weirdest thing about this place is no staggering for lunch breaks in the Pharmacy. It might lessen the workload/customer wait times if you try to figure that out. Worst thing is the automated Rx phone system…then you get sent to the call centers- which ppl just input into the system things that just never show up in the actual pharmacy. Instructions, refills, whatever… doesn’t seem to work unless you talk to the actual pharmacy 9 times out of 10. Mistakes from the pharmacy phone system/call center means you may not get your meds on time. It’s such a convoluted mess to get meds every month, when it’s all supposed to make things easier.
At this point ordering your meds off the internet and waiting for delivery is faster then for this Walgreens to fill it.
Cant say enough good things about the communication and efficiency of this Walgreens. Excellent communication, even though they were busy they processed what we needed quickly. Thank you!
They take FOREVER. Literally sat in line while people working and nobody said a word to us. Talked very low could barely hear what he was saying and he himself was overall slow. This place is so slow slow slow slower than a snail slithering on molasses.
I give the pharmacy here 5 stars. The photo department is TERRIBLE! My most recent trip I order 3 16x20 canvases and received an email that my order was ready at 12:39pm. I got to the store at 4pm and waited while 2 cashiers and a Manager just glanced over until a line formed behind me. When they did finally come over she couldn’t find my order. The Manager, Virginia, came up and said “We tried to call you - there’s a nationwide shortage on 16x20 canvas kits.” I showed her my call log and the one missed call I had she said wasn’t their number, obviously they didn’t call. Very unapologetic and unfriendly.Immediately after leaving I called the Walgreens down the street on E. Michigan Ave. and the Manager told me they have an abundance of 16x20s and he wasn’t sure why I was told there’s a shortage. If I had actually received a call when I placed my order I could have switched it and still picked up after work. I tried to call the Virginia and let her know that E. Michigan Ave. has some, no one answered the phone (Shocking). I HIGHLY recommend you go to any other Walgreens Photo no matter how far out of the way it may be.
Store is great, great people, great service. Great people in the pharmacy too. One problem, I dont think Ive EVER gone in to get a prescription and waited less than 20 mins. When they were already filled! Just to pick them up. Maybe one or twice. Ive been filling my prescriptions here for the better part of twelve years...
I shop at this Walgreens often because the location is very convenient and the store is small enough to get in and out. Staff are always friendly and greet you when you enter. They run a lot of sales but youll want to make sure you sign up for a Walgreens card so that you can take advantage of the discounts (otherwise you are definitely paying more than other stores). This Walgreens also has a Red Box, which is great!
Horrible just horrible staff. I watched them make a older woman cry and tell her they didnt care if she got her meds (these were life saving meds) and when she said she was a loyal customer for many years they told her to take her business somewhere else. Apparently disgusting. Never shopping there ever!
Im giving this a two star rating based solely on the pharmacy and not the rest of the store. Every time (and Im not exaggerating) I go there, theres a line for the drive through at least three deep, so I go inside only to be met by another five people waiting in line. I also have never seen all three registers at the pharmacy counter open, that would help with peoples wait in line one would think....? Also, I avoid going there when the dark haired pharmacist is there, hes often rude to employees and customers alike and I cant handle that. I have chosen this pharmacy because theyre open late and Im a busy person, but, Im starting to feel like the negative is weighing out the positive when it comes to this place...
They have always been as helpful as possible for me. Obviously, with the laws and insurances these days, this is not an easy profession, especially when you get a constant flow of rude people. If you treat them like decent people, they will go above and beyond to do their best to help you! I appreciate all of their service and have used them for years and will continue to! Thanks Walgreens!!!
If your just there to shop around a little the store isnt bad. I will never use the pharmacy because there is always some type of issue but I can go somewhere else and get the prescription with no problems.
Staff were professional and store was clean
Came in to only pick up pictures, order was placed 15 minutes prior, stepped in expecting to wait a few minutes and the shift lead, Virgina? stepped over and helped me out immediately. She was courteous and very professional.
Staff is always friendly and quick to answer any questions. Very clean and well organized.
Everytime I have a prescription sent here I end up waiting over an hour. Really done with this place. Went inside to get the script and both people at the counter were having problems so I decided to go try the drive thru. The person in front of me sat at the drive thru for a half an hour. When I got to the window the woman said the script wasnt ready but if I drove back to the end if the line it would be ready when I got back to the window. . Seriously...... Also I just wrote this while waiting on my script still about an hour waiting now.
My boyfriend hurt his knee. He called the store from the parking lot and they brought him crutches and let him pay from his truck. He went across the street to med plus. Thank u so much for employing people who care.
03/25/17Walgreens pharmacy gave my 11 month old Naproxen. I dropped of prescription off for my mom and my daughter and they never checked the names and at no point did anyone think why is a baby getting pills.08/02/19I went to pick up my medication and two days later I noticed that they gave me someone else’s prescription.1)HIPPA violation2) they’re gonna eventually kills someone
Slowest pharmacy ever... Every time I go to pick up my prescriptions, always have to wait for at least 15 - 30 minutes, just for pick up.... Never enough staff working pharmacy, usually 1 person to work the counter and drive thru.....need to figure out how to hire and train employees...
Patrick in the pharmacy was excellent! I had an issue with my insurance company and he fought for me instead of just letting me walk out frustrated.
Terrible service over the phone when I called to find out where my script was. The guy that answered the phone said they called my number but it was disconnected... They called a number that isnt mine. He admitted that he didnt look far enough to find my correct number and told me I needed to fix my info right away even though the info on my account is correct. Lazy employee and rude. Too bad I dont remember his name but it did start with a B.
Thank You Walgreens!!! Being treated like I am a criminal or meth head is just what i looked forward to when i go to your store! I recently went to your store to buy Claritin. (The kind you have to get behind the counter.) I gave the woman the card and asked her if i can have 2 boxes. They only had cards for the 5 count. I needed more because I am traveling. She rudely and loudly said you can have one. So long story short i will not be going back to your store EVER!!!!!!!! You really deserve 0 stars!! I hope your store closes!
The employees do their very best to help you.
They lie about ready times and I waited over an hour when they said it would be 15 minutes
Go to Genoa or ANYWHERE else for scripts, unless you are retired and have all the time in the world to spare. Enough said?
Waiting for 55 minutes in the drive thru for a prescription is ridiculous.
As I sit in line for the drive thru, that they only have one lane now, behind three other vehicles, frustrated that my phone rings constantly from walgreens that my prescriptions are ready. But, I have to wait ridiculous times to pick them up. It doesnt matter if I go in to the store or the drive thru. Still a long wait. I do everything via text and email to refill as not to take time from the associates. Doesnt matter. I also believe a change for my pharmacy needs is due. There is never consistency in pricing.
Worst place in Jackson. they are lazy and rude so I went to rite aid
They recently lost me as a customer. This happened twice:, I was told the wait would be an hour, I come back in an hour and Im told theres a problem with my insurance so I have to wait for my doctor to get back with them. After pressing the issue because I get these meds all the time and a sudden insurance issue makes no sense, I am told my meds will be ready in 20 minutes but guess what, they arent. This goes on as Im told they dont know whats going on but theyd be glad to try running my script through my insurance again. They do but ah no dice. So after three hour of this nonsense I walk into another pharmacy, 3rd in line mind you, and I get my scripts and get out in ten minutes. I dont know if Walgreens isnt providing training to pharmacy techs or what because even when things used to go smoothly it took them forever and a day unless you went at unusual hour when the pharmacist actually helped you, then it was top notch. Just an update to say they still get my scripts wrong and I hate this place.
All my prescriptions get sent here and i keep on getting them sent here but the pharmacy just sucks, but the service at the front registers are always OK. thinking of switching though to another pharmacy. ship it in to shape people before you loose me as a customer. please.
Perhaps one of the worst pharmacies in the area. Time after time it has been difficult to get in touch with a pharmacist or technician because it is understaffed at all times of day which leads to perpetually long wait times. The only thing it has going for it is the fact it is open later thanother pharmacies.
More expensive than comparable stores
This place is terrible. They are so slow and the staff has no idea whats going on. Never using this place again!!!
This place is horrible. It take way to long to get ahold of the pharmacy staff and wait on hold at least 20 minutes every time.
I dont use the pharmacy, but stop daily and the staff are always nice.
By far, this is the slowest pharmacy ever! Theyre always giving me partial prescriptions of my original prescription. The automated service sucks. One more inconvenience, I will be forced to take my business elsewhere
