This shop is so adorable! The owner is friendly and helpful. There was a good variety of books to choose from, and she will order what you want if she doesn’t have it in stock. This independent bookstore is a welcome addition to Jackson, and I hope to see it grow and prosper over the coming years.

Light Trap Books is such a nice addition to Downtown Jackson. Lauren has done an outstanding job curating the collection and she has been incredibly helpful when picking out books as gifts for friends and family.

Light Trap Books is my new favorite place in town, I could not recommend it enough. Lauren (owner) will help you find anything you need, and can order books for you if she doesn’t have them in stock.I love the fact that I can get both new and used books here, and always love discussing the latest releases with the employees.Finally, it’s a gorgeous, calming, beautiful space. Light Trap might be one of the smallest bookstores you have been to, but it won’t disappoint, whether you want fiction, poetry, essays, or anything else.

Such a quaint little store, and addition to downtown Jackson. Surprisingly packed with a wonderful variety and selection. Hope it stays around for a long time.

Lauren is so down to earth! Light Trap offers the best selection of books (ranging from used books to recently released books), and it’s the only independent book store in Jackson, Tn. How cool is that?!
