Comtronics is the whole package great and professional service with the close family feel. They have amazing resources but make you feel like family. Their customer service from the top down is great. Ask for Steve from the sales department and Kyle/Jake for install they truly made our experience moving houses an easy one!

The service person who installed our new system was very polite and knowledgeable. However, the app that is supposed to control our system is completely useless. If comtronics is going to charge people for using the app, then the app should work. And its not just for us. I read the reviews and there are many people who are having the same problems.Update:Dennis from comtronics reached out to me and addressed all my concerns. Excellent customer support. Comtronics has always been a serious company. Today, however, they really hit it out of the park. Aaron appeared at my door promptly at 0800. The agreed purpose of his visit was to replace an obsolete element of our security system. This he accomplished in mere minutes, after which he volunteered to give the whole system a quick once over. Aaron did an extremely thorough job. He found sensors I never knew I had. He replaced batteries I never knew to service. And he artfully wired a recently installed slider door into the system. Impressive, to say the least. And exactly the sort of experience that will keep me loyal to Comtronics. Thanks to all - and especially to Aaron!

I have had comtronics at my place of business for several years now and has been at great product. But i have signed up for smart phone services a couple of years ago and been unable to get it to work, my rep. stopped by and upgraded me to the service but i was not able to get it going, he stopped by the shop and i told him i was not able to get it working and he said he would look into it, well i must have been forgotten.UPDATE: Comtronics responded very quickly with my post and was able to give me the proper and direct information to fix the problems i was having. Thank you for your attention and will be a long time customer as i was expecting to be.

The installation team was quick, informative, and professional.

Very professional company. As a new home owner with an existing security system in the home. Started out well with the sales team that was able to get me an introductory contract to test the system out. It took about 3-4 business days after signing the contract to get an technician out to start up my service. Took the team longer than expected to set up my service due to unexpected issues with the way the previous owner had the system set up. Mostly caused by the age of the home it was put into. I had three technicians over to figure the best method at the cheapest cost. It was decided that I should have an part installed that was going to cost an additional $150, but i was able to get in installed for only $100. The technicians went above and beyond with their job by assisting me with my other cable issues and helped diagnose other issues outside of my security system. This was done out of complete respect for their customers. The reason I give a 4 instead of a 5 is, I believe the unexpected issue could have been prevented if the system was inspected prior to the install date. The company cares about their customers as I received an personal call, not an automated call or email, asking about my experience. Yes, I would recommend this company for their security services.

We have had comtronics for a number of years and we have been totally satisfied with the service and the products. Recently we needed a new thermostat. Thomas set up a service for us in good time. Their employees from the person who answers the phone to the sales staff, to the service people are well trained, respectful and very professional. Comtronics is the best security for your home and business . We have been with them 22 years when you need them they are right there for you. I would not want anyone else to take care of my house . We have been a Comtronics alarm service customer for about two years now. We specifically chose Comtronics because they are a local company, and we like to support the local economy AND we like the added security of having a local alarm center.The Comtronics staff are very nice and professional. The actual alarm service is terrible. The Honeywell equipment seems to be defective. So far weve had nearly a dozen service calls to fix sensors.When a sensor fails, it alerts the alarm center that then calls you, which is great in theory. In practice, these sensors fail at 3 a.m., and youre woken to explain to the alarm center that youve had a service request in on that sensor for over a week.This morning, I received a call about a sensor fault for a sensor that had a work request dated 5 August (about two weeks ago). They also had no record of the note on file about not calling about sensor faults.We spend more time living in fear of a 3 am sensor fault call than people breaking in to our home. The Comtronics experience has been very disappointing, and I would very much like the issue fixed, or to go to another service.If youre in the market for a home alarm system, you may want to shop around.Updated: Comtronics was very willing to finally spend the time to troubleshoot the issues, and we have been free of issues for a few months now. The customer service is really quite good.

Horrible Horrible Horrible ... had them service my mothers cottage and they never showed up and when they did The kid asked me if it was necessary to call for a battery? Went down to the office and nearly had a heart attack dealing with COO john walls, folks save your money and patience Sad thing is Is that we had our cottage in Clark lake with them for 20years the old man son put alarm in, he never said we just needed a battery . We have had only 1 problem with a sensor - this is over 4 years - the staff members have been great. Highly recommend their service.

I have had a home alarm system for over 5 years and its worked perfectly. If I inadvertently trip the alarm, I get a call from the alarm center within a minute or so for verification.

I would not recommend this company. We just ended our contract partially because we could not get them out to fix the alarm system for the past seven months. While waiting for them to come out and fix the system we learned a lot about it and you can use most of the features without a monitoring service. It all depends on what youre looking for. I will check reviews from now on because when you have the manager of the company leaving good reviews you should be leery (Manager G. Judge). Maybe the fact that you cant find our record is the reason behind it taking so long to get some help. We canceled October 30th.
