Moved into a new apartment with Silver Star already in and ready to go. Internet is fast, reliable and easy to connect. All around really great experience!
Silver Star has been terrific. They keep their commitments and respond quickly to questions or concerns. Installation was on time and on budget and our fiber optic is fast. I definitely recommend them.
I could not have imagined a better customer service experience. Dealing with Liz Acosta has been phenomenal. She has guided us every step of the way and she has excellent communication skills. This has made all the difference in the world for our homeowner community. I would strongly recommend them for any fiber optic installation!
Teton Adaptive is very grateful for our community partners at Silver Star. Not only do they offer grants for local nonprofits they also have an employee volunteer program. Many years in a row the staff of Silver Star have done the dirt work of getting our behind the scenes ready for summer programs. Very grateful for the whole gang, keep up the good work!
Silver Star doesnt staff any in-house account or technical experts after 5pm MST or on weekends. Their outsourced technical support service says they will have someone call you or scheduled a site visit as soon as their offices open. Their offices have been open for 2 days since my last call and nobody has called me back or paid me a visit.I also ran checks on the internet speed. They are charging for 150, but provide between 19-30 (have run over a dozen speed tests).Very, very disappointed. If this was not a rural area with limited competition, Im quite certain theyd see a max exodus from their customer base.
Slow service. Bandwidth is barely enough to have a zoom call and your browser open. Routers are dated- so bring your own if you use them.Closed on the weekends, which shocks me, because issues still happen on weekends.If you get an agent on during the weekday, during business hours (ie take time out of your day job to deal with internet issues), you may get a great agent- I was pleased with the agent I spoke with. But if you don’t have an hour during the workday to call, you are out of luck.Weekend hold times / call back times are brutal. So if you can’t take an hour out of your work day, get ready to take 2+ hours out of your weekend.

This is the absolute worst internet provider on the planet. Pay money for no WiFi. It might work 25% of the time. The other 75% there is no internet or so little that it can load anything. They just don’t care either because they are the only provider in Star Valley. Awful, awful, awful, service. Save your money and just buy a book or DVD player.
By far the best internet Ive ever had. Extremely fast, and very affordable. To top it all off, it is a LOCAL company, which means when you call customer service, you talk to a real person that lives HERE. Although in three years Ive never had to call their service department! Highly recommended, beats out all the competition.
Communicationss timeline.I live in remote Buffalo Valley. Due to the diligence of a neighbor and the rapid and efficient response of Silver Star, the west end of our valley now has fiber-optic internet. I could not be more thrilled with how this has turned out. Not only is the speed and reliability of the internet amazingly fast, the customer service of every single Silver Star associate I have dealt with has been superb. They have been able to answer every question, trouble shoot every hiccup with professionalism. I was grateful to have my previous internet provider (satellite) because there really was no other choice. If you have the choice to hook up to fiber-optic service from Silver Star now, I would highly recommend it. The cost is reasonable...I have even been able to cancel my land line as my cell phone works just fine now, even to call my mum in the UK! Thank you Silver Star.
Had silver star for 9months. I was never once able to ask them about my usage. Was told: our systems down, you can check online, were having problem with our system. Always an excuse, never a solution. One bill said i used 79MGs, the next said i used 1MG. no one ever explained how it can be. Nice enough people but company wide poor service. Would suggest any other service. Save yourself the headache and the excuses.

I purchased an iPhone 6s plus from here, it malfunctioned less than a week after i bought it. I was told i would have to pay for a repair if i wanted to fix it. I ended up taking it to an apple store in Utah to have it replaced. But when the apple employee connected the phone and ran a diagnostic, it failed and i was told the phone had been tampered with. I also asked the apple employee if this company was authorized and he said no.
Been waiting for about 8 months now to get a refund from them, 4-5 times visiting the office and only promising that theyll call you back or that you will receive it soon, you guys are pathetic !!!
😡😡😡According to Jackson they close at 7 pm and one speaks by phone and design that is already closed as and also very expensive according to this plus I received the receipt of $ 820.00 I do not know if I only have two lines.
