Great little coffee/book shop with super friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. My Nancy Drew latte was fantastic!

I forgot the Baristas name, but she makes the best frozen cream & punishments with oat milk. Mine has extra white chocolate with whip and hers is a double shot. I definitely recommend trying. Dont forget to tip!

A super hip yet relaxing spot in Midtown Jackson. I love the theme of an old library looking building turned coffee shop. You can buy a wide variety of books in store in case you forgot yours. I had a decaf americano and was very pleased with the flavorful despite the process it undergoes to lose the caffeine. There is ample seating and the rectangle shaped cinnamon rolls have a liberal amount of icing that looked great.

Staff is always super sweet! And the coffee rocks, of course! They have one of the few drive-thrus that doesnt make me anxious.

Its the cutest coffee shop around. And the workers are so kind. 10 out of 10!!!!

Used the drive-thru which was kinda sus cause it was steep but the people were nice and coffee I got was pretty fire for iced coffee. *Pun intended*

I had the dark chocolate raspberry latte which really great. The prices are really good. We had two lattes for $9.

Several family members love the coffee at Coffee Prose. I have only had the pleasure of their pop sickles which were very good.

We love this place! Come for the coffee, stay for the cereal bars and the cinnamon rolls. And the drive-thru is fantastic!

A sweet spot to spend time. I really love the fact that they sell books here and am constantly buying a new read from them. Usually playing chill-hop type music inside. Theres a nice little outdoor seating area but I always sit inside.The drive-through window is a smart touch, take advantage of that if you are on the go.The baristas are really awesome, easy to get along with and more than happy to have a nice chat with you. For that reason, I think this would be a great place to come to a few times if you just moved into the area and want to get to know a few solid people. Lots of Millsaps students come through here during school seasons.The restroom is clean and spacious, and the restroom supplies are always well stocked. Once or twice Ive gone in there and seen stacked boxes of books in it. Maybe they have limited storage space? Didnt bother me though, like I said, its a spacious restroom.

Have been back again and again. The literary themed drinks are delicious, and they always have new rolls, pastries, and other snacks to try. The book selection is also varied and worth a deep browse!They are a safe and inclusive space.

Great little community spot. I love that the students can just walk over and have a nice place to study and eat pastries. In Jackson, its a little more common than average but I still love their gourmet popsicles and ice cream 🙌🏽

Best. Coffee Shop. Ever. Its a very cozy atmosphere and their specialty lattes (named after great works of literature) are absolutely delicious! My personal favorites are The Gatsby and Heart of Darkness. They have a great selection of books available to read and their staff is friendly. They also have beer and wine, soups and salads, and smoothies. On top of that, they also host events like Board Game night and they even have a book club! Overall, this is my happy place.

My FAVORITE coffee shop! The drinks are great. The popsicles are AMAZING! And they know their customers.

Lovely book shop and coffee hub, yet calm enough for picky people, such as myslef. It has an authentic atmosphere of diversity, sharing a love of academia. It is what many of us desire in our own homes. If I could ask for anything, it would be a ladder to slide down with gusto!

Love everything that Ive tried, so far. My favorite is the Heart of Darkness (hot or frozen) ! The Sangria pop is my favourite pop ! Staff are great!

Great lattes. I would recommend the dark chocolate and raspberry latte. Adequate space for sitting down and enjoying a book or getting some work done. Fast wifi as well. Theres even a separate room for a more intense study session or a large group. And they have an amazing collection of used books for sale. I repeat, amazing. Both in terms of variety and in terms of price. The only little drawback is lack of parking space. Some street parking and a makeshift parking lot behind the store, can become a little problem when its busy.

Im here almost every day. The best coffee shop in town! Its small, intimate yet inviting, GREAT food thats all made in-house by the lovely staff, and definitely better than studying in Fondren where its too crowded. The coffee also is top notch and the coolest part is the bookstore/library component. I dare you to check this place out and not love it.

Coffee and snacks are great. Its a relatively quiet place depending on whos in there. Keep in mind, though, its near three colleges so parking may be limited. The road around it are a little rough too.

I live in Fondren and travel all over MS, LA, and the rest of the country for work...and this is the only coffee shop I’ve found that you can get a great cup of drip coffee for under $2. Also the space and the staff are both just amazing!! Bring a book to read...but if you forget there are plenty of classics there you can grab and peruse

Nice cozy place. A meeting room and public area. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful.Nice variety of coffee shop goods. Pastries and coffees as well as drinks.Books are available if you want to read. And Wi-Fi is available. Surprising hours open early and evenings till 8. Parking lot is being remodeled so you may have to park on the street.And for those who love being outside with a view. A patio area overflowing with colorful flowers.

Service was quick. Ordered a small liquid gold and a potato breakfast taco. Both were delicious
