Nice small coffee shop. Arrived around 8:40am and there was no line. At 9:15am there is a line of about 15 people out the door. I had the Mexican Mocha which was delicious with a bit of spice. Prices are average about $5 for a specialty drink. They serve a variety of breakfast items as well as several different paninis.
I live in Jackson part of the year. This fantastic coffee shop is my very favorite for nitro cold brew. The lines have been long because the Starbucks on the square closed. The staff is always working hard. They are friendly, efficient, and serve the best coffee in Jackson. Well worth the wait. Love this great staff each time I am back in town. Thank you!
Great coffee. There was a line out the door when I got there but it moved quickly and I was amazed to see my drink appear within a minute after ordering. Barista was super nice and even remembered me on only my second visit! Im only visiting Jackson but Im surely coming back to this place whenever I pass through town again.
This is a personal preference review. If you order the bison chili beware: extremely spicy, heavy on onions and pepper and the meat is ground. Other than that, the coffee offerings are great.
Great coffee and breakfast. Big plus for us was their great selection of gluten free sandwiches and muffins.
A must visit if you like great coffee. I had the Mexican mocha . Wonderful! Also breakfast items are fantastic. Had the veggie burrito. Very fresh and filling.
Cold brew was typical, and veggie burrito tasted as if it had expired. I understand it’s a busy establishment but staff could be a little more personable and less rude when customers are asking questions. Both experienced and overheard. Very much “not my problem” mentality.
Wanted to order a blended mocha type drink. Staff member was more worried about counting tips than actually acknowledging I was there. While still counting tips said they are not making smoothies. Explained it was a blended coffee, still never made eye contact said they are not making blended drinks. I would not recommend this place. Very poor customer service
Ive been in CBC both times Ive skied Jackson so when I couldnt find what I wanted in L.V. for my espresso machine I went north. My first choice was two bags of espresso beans which I was totally happy with with, but being adventurous my next order was for a bag of french roast and another of Teton blend, well so far the french roast is even better dialed in to to my grinder settings so I havent had to touch a thing! This is 18g ground thru a Eureka Specialita grinder and about 38g out brewed thru a Breville Oracle. ICE cold milk steamed to 148 degrees on the cappuccino setting in a 10oz tumbler. Yipee-ki-yay-MTF!
Hospitality comes first over anything else for me. “I’m better than you attitude” only goes so far in a small town that needs tourists in order to survive. Be kind, bottom line. The iced latte was nothing to brag about either. Sad cause it’s a cute artistic spot with a delicious ham and swiss biscuit and that’s the only reason I gave it two stars.
We loved this place so much., we went twice during our trip to Jackson. Its the perfect lunch stop. Their sandwiches are super good and a reasonable price compared to other places in Jackson. I highly recommend trying their huckleberry specialty coffee and strawberry muffin. Staff is also quick and super friendly!
Best coffee in Jackson and its not even close. Breakfast sandwiches are delicious as well. Actively enforcing the local mask mandate, always a huge plus.
Breakfast sandwiches as well as lunch sandwiches are fresh and made to order. Employees are friendly and polite and the coffee was perfect. Great for early mornings.
Good coffee…maybe the best in town. Always busy so expect a line. It’s a great place to stop before going to the weekly farmers market that has some very good baked items.
Owners are trust fund kids. Coffee is average. They cant keep staff and have no longterm future for employees. No medical, 401 k, and 1300 in rent for a room. The worst owners this side of the rockies.
I appreciate that the Coffee Cowboy was open early yet disappointed that my espresso was not freshly made.it came from a machine. I ordered an egg and cheese biscuit that tasted like yesterdays business.Would I return? For a 6 am run it works!
I’m disappointed in Cowboy Coffee Co. I ordered two drip coffees and a strawberry muffin - the coffee was not strong enough and tasted like it was from a gas station. The muffin was good, hence a couple stars. I realized after that they overcharged me and the customer service was slow. I wish it were better since they’re in a great location, but if you appreciate a good cup of coffee, I’d recommend elsewhere to safe your time and money.
The only place in Jackson which serves really good coffee. There is a line to get in and there is a reason for it. Also surprising is the assortment of gluten free cookies. An absolute must for the Italian coffee afficionado.
Nice coffee shop. In a town where the prices are sky high, everything on their menu was fair if not less then a normal Starbucks. If you like a spicy treat try the honey badger.
This place probably has the best coffee in the area. They also serve breakfast burritos!! As a Texan. That’s a huge deal!
Very cool cowboy themed coffee shop. It does get very busy though, so expect to have to wait in line. Also the food tasted amazing but the wait was very long.
Excellent breakfast burritos, the best coffee, and friendly staff! Just what you need to start each day!
Great coffee spot where you can warm up after a night of camping. The cowboy burrito fills you right up.
Love the huckleberry mudpot!! Atmosphere is great, coffee is dope, and the service is surprisingly speedy
I’m from New Jersey and recently visited Jackson Hole, WY with my family and let me tell you, their iced caramel latte was the best I ever had! I went back each day of my vacation and even bought some grounds to bring home for my family and will be ordering more! Also the staff was super friendly.
The food is Awful and tasteless! I ordered two sandwiches on line for p/u, to avoid the line. The only vegetarian option is the Granger, advertised as meat or veggie. I expect a veggie sandwich has vegetables on it, such as tomatoes, sprouts, ect. This bland as heck sandwich came with a soft bun, plain cream cheese and withered avocado slices. I ate one half. The Regular breakfast sandwich was equally bland and boring. Better off ordering something from Persephone Bakery, as they actually use various herbs and spices. Or, sit down at one of the many delicious breakfast places.
The atmosphere in Cowboy Coffee is amazing. The decor is also great, with lots of photos, hanging lights, plants, mugs and so much more. The lighting is perfect, and the music isn’t too loud. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well.I liked the selection, which has many unique items and creations. My wife got the Huckleberry Mudpot, which is based on a local berry. She really liked it. I had the hot chocolate which was some of the best I’ve ever had. They also sell their own organic coffee by the bag, which is nice. Overall, it’s a wonderful coffee shop located in Jackson Hole Square and should not be missed.
The coffee was great! There was quite a line out the door but the staff seems to work well under pressure. My wife and I really liked the whole experience.
Horrible service. They served 8 people ahead of our order. Apparently gave our order to another couple and then neglected to remake our order until we asked again. When approached to inquire we were told well call your name. Well, no, they wont. 35 minutes wasted.
Great coffee and breakfast burritos and sandwiches. Fast and friendly service perfect for an early morning cup.
Excellent shop... get the huckleberry Mudpot... cold.... so yummy
Ohio resident visiting for a weekend in the beginning of February, saw reviews that this place had awesome coffee. Well they do have that, as well as amazing breakfast burritos. Also, lots of cool drinkware to choose from as well as stickers and other breakfast food choices. The cherry on top for me, the place plays metal music in the morning! Big fan of this place and will definitely come back to this place when visiting Jackson again in the future
A must stop to start the day. It was 21 degrees this morning.
Huckleberry mudpot was delicious and its great to see a leash hook outside
As someone that has worked in coffee shops before, they were extremely unkind and impatient. Rude to my mother that asked a simple question and clearly doesn’t care about customer satisfaction.
Pros: open early. Has breakfast menuCons: between 3 of us, all our drink orders and food orders incorrectly made. For example, ordered matcha latte unsweetened with oat milk — was sweetened; ham cheese & egg sandwich on brioche — no eggs (but still charged extra).
Cappuccino tasted like a watered down latte. The breakfast burritos are pre-made, pretty dry, and just generally don’t taste good. Save yourself and go to Persephone instead. Better coffee, better food, friendlier staff, nicer atmosphere. Hell, even Starbucks is better.
Best value breakfast in Jackson. Good food and service. Coffee good as well.
I always try to support local small businesses and Im glad I chose Cowboy Coffee over Starbucks. Unfortunately due to the employment crisis in Jackson Hole its a long wait for just a cup of coffee, hopefully that problem will resolve itself. But it was still better than waiting for a Starbucks coffee.
My girlfriend is visiting jackson wyoming and needed to fulfill her coffee needs this morning. she could’ve chosen anywhere, but cowboy coffee co was lucky enough to receive her service. the mexican mocha was granted the opportunity to touch her lips, an opportunity only a coveted few receive. the coffee did not disappoint. when asked how the coffee was, she would say “it’s pretty darn good.” this establishment has received high praise from my girlfriend and is thus rewarded with a 4 star review. the individuals behind this coffee shop should be very proud of themselves.
This place is so good we would stop here on our way back from hiking. Great place to get your afternoon pickup! The staff was so energetic and fun!
Both locations are fantastic. Awesome food (their breakfast burritos are some of the best food Ive had in years) and coffee. Only downside is seating, but theres a pandemic on so just tough it out and go for a nice walk.
Came right when they opened to avoid the line and everyone was super friendly and served great coffee
Good coffee and a good place to chill at 6am on a Saturday.
If I could get my coffee here everyday, I would. This is a great local coffee shop. I really enjoyed their standard brew coffee.
Popular coffee spot with delicious and hardy breakfast wraps.
Great atmosphere! Breakfast sandwich was awesome!
Coffee and breakfast sandwich was delicious. I understand the summer rush is stressful and all the tourists are annoying but the employees could be a little more friendly.
My husband and I were in Jackson Hole visiting years ago. We got coffee here and fell hard for the coffee. When we got home, we decided to order the coffee and have done so for years now. We love this coffee, and Cowboy Coffee Co always does right by us. Shipping is very quick, and inexpensive so we never run out! Thanks guys!!
The coffee was fine, but the employees that work there don’t treat their customers very well. One shouldn’t be brushed off for asking a question about a product and then mocked.
The only hidden gem in Jackson! The speciality chai’s are amazing & so is the iced coffee. Good service as well for how busy and understaffed they were. Yummy sandwiches too.
Great coffey friendly people. Nice variety sweets & snacks.
Cozy local coffee shop with a myriad of coffee selections to choose from. They have eats too and I got to try their Bison chilli on a cold afternoon this month. The chili was warm, rich and just what I needed. Couldnt try the coffee but we were definitely impressed with the food. Looked like its usually crowded (popular place). They even have official merchandise they sell.
Delicious, artisan coffee. Would definitely recommend. Go there instead of Starbucks! The Mexican mocha was great.
Didnt go there but our Gransons did and brought us back some of your coffee.. Its the best !
Great coffee. Well made. Excellent atmosphere. Loved it
They threaten customers and call names. This is not professional and is unacceptable. No, I am not spam and treating me like this does nothing but prove my point and I appreciate you revealing your true self to everyone on Google reviews. You need to own up to the disrespect you have shown. I don’t troll I simply reveal the reality of a negligent company and disrespectful owner so others know how they will be treated. You threatened me and disrespected me and then try to discredit me.
Really good chai!! Fast service great ambiance, and really nice baristas. Would recommend to a friend and would go again.
Very cozy sandwich place. Quick and efficient service. We were in and out in 10minutes.
Ordered the cowboy croissant, eggs were ice cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted!!! 🤮
This place is slammed every morning for a reason. Its good 👍
My husband got me the Cowboy Coffee toffees for Valentines Day. They are amazing! So buttery good but also each so unique with wood smoked flavors or a touch of hot pepper heat. Try them - you will not be sorry!
Best coffee for sure. We had an egg sandwich and blue berry muffin. Both were excellent and the price was not bad
You need to try their Huckleberry Mudpot specialty drink. It is so unique and delicious!
Best coffee in Jackson! Great small sandwiches and tons of coffee choices. Always will come back.
Caffeine addicts in real need of a fix should go elsewhere. The line here is LOOOOOONG and SLOOOOOOOW. Really long and really slow. Long. Slow. Seriously.
Thank you for playing Lukas Nelson this morning while I waited for your delicious dddrrriiippp🔥
Nice atmosphere, good coffee, even got some beans.
Good coffee and food. Expect a long line. Local folks seen to like it too.
We frequented this place every morning while here and tried a variety of drinks on the menu (latte, iced mocha, huckleberry mud pot, chai latte) It is so good. Everyone who works here is super sweet and helpful. We even bought some beans to bring home and enjoy!
Best coffee I’ve ever had. Just ordered my first shipment!
Really cool spot to visit and fuel up
Was good and thankfully not Starbucks. The croissant was very good. Expect long lines.
Nice shop, quick service, sandwiches and snacks were on point.
Great place. But dont serve food till dinner
Some of us buy coffee to use WiFi. Shutting down at 5 and not 6 instead of adjusting your hours wastes our time and our money. It takes you two seconds. It’s dishonest business to post false hours.I will not be returning
Coffee was great and the rest of my family’s coffee was good so I’ll give it 3 stars but I was the only one to get food and got a veggie burrito that tasted terrible and ended up with food poisoning that lasted a day and a half while on vacation.
Friendly staff. Quick with our orders.
To make Cowboy Coffee: Pour 2 full cups of ground coffee into pot with water up to half way in spout. Add pinch of salt, egg shells to settle grounds (2 - 3). Boil so ground can mix. Put 5 small pebbles in pot, so can mix up coffee. Takes about 12 minutes at medium heat. I generally use gas stove, or on cold days, bar-b-que grill. Raw honey added by using knife (sugar just doesnt work as well as honey. Plus, its good fer ya, & healthier,
Best coffee in town great staff I stop in almost every morning . Callie and Danielle are the best we love them !
