I knew next to nothing about comics when I first visited this store. Now I’ve discovered a love for comics that I never knew I had and am excitedly building my collection! All of the staff, but especially Josh, have been incredibly helpful and friendly, always making me feel welcome when I stop by. They clearly care about their customers. They patiently answer my many questions about comics as well as recommend new selections, all of which I’ve enjoyed immensely. The store is filled with amazing comics and books to choose from and it’s a pleasure talking with the experts that work there to learn more. Wednesday’s are especially fun and exciting, being new comic day with raffle prizes! Nostalgia Ink is a true gem and is now someplace I look forward to visiting often.

One of my favorite Comic/Game shops! From their well organized and displayed items, to the wide variety of comics, collectibles, board games, card games and more, I can usually find what I’m looking for at Nostalgia Ink/GamePlace. Staff is always friendly and looking to help.

I was at this shop meeting with the new pokemon group I just joined. And I was walking around looking at all the comic books when something caught my eye. I almost had a heart attack when I saw this book for the first time. I begged and I pled for my mom (who was with me.) To buy it for me she told me shed think about and maybe if I behaved that she would get it for me for Christmas. Well believe me when I tell you I was on my best behavior that whole rest of the year up until Christmas. I was so excited on Christmas eve that I could hardly sleep that night but somehow I managed to go to sleep.Fast forward to the next morning Christmas day. We had our traditional breakfast of sweet rolls with orange icing. After breakfast I raced into the living room of our two bedroom two bath apt, I start ripping open all the presents that were addressed to me. As I reached for the last oddly shaped present I thought no what on earth could this possibly be. I unrapped the gift rapping of this very odd present. I screamed as soon as I saw what it was. It was that very book I had begged for in that comic book stored in those previous months before. And I have loved this book every day since.

Best place in town for comics, collectibles, and table top gaming.

I wish I would have gotten the name of the person working in this well lit store as they were very nice and helped my grandchildren as if the were normal customers instead of kids. He was very informative about what was in the store knew exactly where everything was at. Ill bring my grandchildren back.

Great comic and game shop. Got a good price on my magic cards and the employee was very nice and invited me to come play at the shop.

Only comic shop in jackson far az i kno, itz really 2 storez in one a gamez shop dat sellz magic cardz n other gamer stuff but didnt chex everytin out on dat side tho from comic collectible shop u can walk between da two shopz but i mostly stayed on comic side, nostalgia inkz selection iz large wit new n ol back issuez sandwiched in wit silver n l8 golden age 4corner colored gold, i searched az many boxez az i could but still didnt get thru every box 1st day bout week l8r i stopped in gan n still didnt get thru every box but i did get sum goodiez 2 take home chex it out yo im sure ya can find sumtin too if u look

The employees was very helpful & nice. Even though it was real close to closing we wasnt rushed around. We wanted a new card game to play. Told him what we liked. He look some up & told us about some we might like. Very laid back and relaxing. Store was clean & in order.

Great place to buy and play games of all forms. Also has comics and collectibles. The people who run it are awesome and friendly.Also they have cool events often from various gaming matches to game demos and give aways and ofcourse free comic book day every year.The only problem is I cant buy everything in the store.

The selection for nerd shops in Jackson is limited, but this place really encompasses everything you need. Tim is super personable and knowledgeable about all products; when my fiancé decided to dive into 3D printing Tim greatly helped him learn the systems and programs.

My first and last Free Comic Book day. I went in and there was hardly any room to walk let alone to see the sign, Only two comics per customer. So I was very embarrassed when I brought up five different comics. Which is fine I understand. However, I found out they gave all the extra books after closing to a guy to display in his video store. I would highly recommend you go to a different store for Free Comic Book Day.

This place is amazing!! Their community contributions are excellent; theyre always looking to educate young and old gamers alike. Their comic collection is stellar, and they host Magic the Gathering, Force of Will, and other card and board game tournaments! If they dont have what you want in stock theyll get it; the customer service is excellent. Friendly to all people, no exceptions.

Nostalgia Ink has a wide variety of titles and stories, making it easy to find the comics youre looking for! Image, Dark Horse, Marvel, DC, and much more have a place at this store. The customer service is unparallel! The workers/owner are more than willing to help with any questions or suggestions. Ordering books in advance and buying exclusive variants is extraordinary easy. Not to mention the vast selection of figurines, trade paperbacks, books, 3-D prints, board games, cards, & accessories. Nostalgia is my go to comic book for its atmosphere, selection, & customer service.

Today I am changing my review, I went to a Force of Will release event today and all I did was walk in the door, wait for my boyfriend to pay and turn to head to the back to play when the owner made a very back handed comment to me about my three star review. This is not the first time Ive heard him make these kinds of comment and I dont think it is acceptable for a business owner to treat his customers that way. The new store is lovely and spacious, the staff aside from the owner is wonderful and I like coming here to play cards but I will not be coming back if I have to keep worrying about these kinds of back handed snide comments. I dont think its professional or acceptable to treat paying costumes like that.

Im still a fan of Superman and The Flash comics

Nostalgia was one of Jacksons little hidden gems for years but under new ownership theyve moved into a bigger location and expanded their stock. If youre looking for comics, graphic novels, tabletop and card games, action figures, miniatures, dice, local artists works, etc. this is the place to go! The staff are all really nice and theyll make you feel welcome even if you (like me) are not really into the comic lifestyle and just occasionally need a gift for friends/family or a new tabletop party game c;

The new store is even more glorious than the previous! Tim and Cody have always been kind, informed, and very helpful during our visits. The store is always clean & well organized, and the prices are fair. Everyone in my family (ages 5-35) enjoys a trip to our favorite comic book shop! ..I dont personally play games, but for those that do- the new, expanded space is fantastic. Plenty of room for all!

Wether youre selling or buying comics, these guys will always be fair. Ive been shopping there a few years, Ive also had stuff sent out to be graded and theyre super helpful getting you through the process. Great selection of games and magic cards also. These guys take the time to know their customers, their needs, and doing what they can to help.

Cody and Tim have done a fantastic job providing a fun getaway, and always do their best to ensure customer satisfaction. I hope they continue to grow and inspire others like me. The selection isnt huge, but its everything you could want from a small town, local game store. DnD sessions and MTG games are played throughout the week. Plus, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Lots of categories of comic books. The staff is super knowledgeable about products sold. You can hear the passion in their conversations with customers. Discount for cash purchases is a bonus. I didnt even know adult comics were a thing until I stumbled upon that section. Collectables, cards, comics - anything you could want in that area.

Stopped by with my partner and his father. They had been long time customers of the buisness before the new owner. What I can day is Ive never felt less welcomed in a shop before. The owner was off putting and acted as if we were planning to rob the place. This shop might have once been fun and inviting but no longer.

Doesnt have many x-wing miniatures in stock, but very knowledgeable and friendly staff, will special order ships at a huge discount. If you dont need your ships immediately, this is as good as you can get price-wise.

We love the new location but have been going there for years. The staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is great. It is a very cool place to go and get lost in all of your comic and sci-fi interests.

Disappointing they had a good selection of comics however the service was awful. They had some guys lounging around talking about games. One of them was sitting and leaning against some of their selection blocking my way. A lot of them were in boxes of comics were on the floor which made it uncomfortable to find what your looking for. then when I asked for help the employee or owner not sure which was very rude so I walked out. I dont plan on returning.

They are ALWAYS so helpful and friendly. Recently moved around the corner to a larger building. A MUST see for fellow nerds. The game room in the back is nearly as large as the showroom.

The new location was a perfect way for the newer management to go from cleaning up the old nostalgia, to making it their own space. The store front and game area are two separate store fronts now and it kends to a much more open and less congested feel.

The comics are sorted into 5 different areas based on price. This can take a simple title search and turn it into a lengthy affair. Most stores sort books by title and price accordingly so its easier to find what your looking for. The prices are very expensive compared to most other comic stores. I found books priced at $12+ that I found in dollar bins in other stores. The stores comic wall has mid level books at best on it. If you were visiting Jackson, Michigan I would pass on this store.
