One of the coolest shops Ive been to. So much art around the wall. So much just cool stuff. They pretty much have something for everyone. And they have an amazing record selection. Definitely think everyone in jackson should visit this place. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Love this place.

Nice clean spot. They have new & old vinyl, Japanese collectibles, & clothing. The only thing is you have to park on the street, which is not too bad, but the neighbors have close driveways, so be cautious not to block their access.

Ive never been to the storefront but I have ordered online and they are quick to ship out your orders. They also have great customer service they answered any of my questions incredibly fast. Its currently my go to site for dragon ball s.h. figuarts. They carry some hard to find stuff at a normal price or even on sale. Definitely worth shopping here if you want rare collectibles that are hard to find at a good deal.

Wow! Awesome collection of records, comic books, buttons, clothing items, and toys to shop through! This is shop has something for everyone. The students enjoyed shopping as much as finding out about the young entrepreneur that owns Offbeat. This is a comicbook/record lovers dream to shop or sit and listen to music. We will definitely be back again.

Not a fan. Selections SLIM. I went in to look for comics as I saw advertise, no comics, just graphic novels. The person working was rude. There are nicer ways to talk to a human. I did not feel welcomed. Ive had root canals that was friendlier.

A gem in Jackson! Im an avid collectibles and anime fan. OffBeat has an incredible selection of items, vinyls, manga, and model kits. Truly an amazing establishment. The vibe is immaculate. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

I would like to support black owned businesses. But the guy clearly does not have a clue how records selling works. Most records are beaten up and overpriced. And what is not priced he decides on the stop. No room for negotiation.

I can see why this place is considered a Creative Hub of JXN. Its a record store, comic book shop, and cultural venue all in one. Theyve got a great selection of apparel, collectible figures, and more. Not only is this a great place to check out, but its perfect for meeting other people with similar interests or for chilling out in general. And Phillip, the owner, is an amazing person who has created a haven for art, music, and geek culture that has really brought people together in the community. In general, this place is awesome. Its one of the most unique local businesses Ive visited and I love supporting it!

A Treasure Chest!

Excellent store combining tons of great collectibles like figurines and records. Even has some interesting clothing available for purchase. Highly suggest taking a visit if you collect records. Very friendly staff.

Man this a great all around store whether, your a comic book fan, scale model builder, record collecter, urban upcoming brands. This is a one stop shop. The vibes are always chill, they have events every evening for local artists, & honestly the owner is one of the coolest business owners I’ve met humble, hardworking, cool dude. This is a must visit.

This place is just amazing. A wide range of vinyl collectible figures, Japanese import models and figures, graphic novels, records, and art prints. The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere makes you want to sit and stay awhile. Couldnt recommend it more!

Great atmosphere. The merchandise is very unique too. Cant find most of the products displayed in regular stores.

This is a collage of different things. They do comics collectibles clothing just all sort of different interests. They also host video game competitions. They have good customer service and prices.

Dont attend this store for RSD related events. They hide the records like some kind of Easter egg hunt. Your place in line means nothing.

A spot with lots of personality. The owner is a DJ (a real DJ, by the way) that other local DJs say is the best around, and often they hold events where he and others spin records for hours. Its definitely a cool experience to relax on their indoor swinging bench and just listen.The vinyl collection actually surprises me every single time -- there is always tons of variety. They feature a lot of local art which tends to be kitschy (but that comes with the territory - they profess to be very community oriented).

Great place to hangout and listen to a wide variety of great music. The have a few local beer options and theres always something going on. Read a comic, but some vinyl or just hangout and annoy Venom either way its a dope spot.

Not a huge selection of vinyl at this point but this shop is definitely worth visiting. There are new and used records of several generes and the prices are pretty fair. I was able to find quite a few things worth picking up. Customer service is teriffic! I am glad to see a record shop in Jackson again!

The service was terrible. it’s in a terrible location and the owner or tenant had a lazy mentality and a horrible, sarcastic attitude. he doesn’t know what he’s talking about at all and thinks he does. wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. doesn’t even deserve the one star.
