Dr. Johnson is truly the key for success of this organization. He’s very professional, explains every detail of your eye exam, and attentive when you ask questions. Staff did a great job as well. Thank you SVS team for such a great experience.

Dr. Parker Johnson’s combination of professionalism, care, and attentiveness truly impressed my wife and me. I believe Dr. Johnson went above and beyond in his examination, comparing to my previous experience with other doctors. He listened, explained, asked questions, and let me ask questions. Although masked-up, I knew he smiled. He took the time to make me feel like I was the only patient there. Thank you Dr. Johnson.

We have had an appointment booked since February! I called to verify my appointment yesterday for today... was told they were open and they would see me then. Got here at 3:30 and sat for half an hour with the building closed and locked and an out to lunch sign on thw door. By 4 pm we left. No call to cancel. No email. No text message. Very unimpressed with this company. I highly recommend finding somewhere else to book your eye exams.

I bought my glasses at the store in Jackson Mi. I love the glasses. However, my nose piece fell off which is a simple fix. They refused to fix it. They werent busy and had 4 women standing around not doing anything. They told me to make an appointment next week. Funny thing is .. I need my glasses to see.

They dont give the customers the glasses they pick out if the glasses you picked out arent in stock, I guess they just give you something similar. After three or four visits and three pairs of glasses that dont fit, they wont replace one pair for me because my warranty is up. And one of their employees told me that it would start over after the first replacement. Dont shop here if you can help it.

Id rate more but the fact that everytime i call to make an opointment starting last year before August to current im always told not able to book till August but my fiance request appointments and they get him in so yeah thats kinda a problem when someones vision is going bad been waiting over a year. So I must find better

I went to the store some 20 miles away, found it was by appt. only. I called and was given an appt. within an hour and a half on the same day. I completed another shopping task, first then went to my appt. Worked out fine and issues with newer glasses were resolved. Thanks to SVS for being able to respond quickly.

Was able to get a new patient appointment in a timely manner. Office is in a busy area but getting in and out wasnt difficult, and parking is available close to the door. Staff was polite, the office is clean, and there is ample seating (but please consider seating to accommodate wider folks). The wait time to see the doctor was minimal (within 10 minutes of scheduled appointment). Glasses were ready in one week. I like their text alerts for appointment reminders and to let you know when your order is ready.

I was struggling with distance vision and decided to have my eyes checked since it had been about 5 years from my last eye exam. Svs happened to be one of the places my insurance covered, and it had awesome reviews on Google. I was able to get an appointment very quickly. Upon arrival, the receptionist who checked me in and gave me my paperwork, was professional and pleasant. The office was very clean and accommodating. I used to work as an eye technician, and was pleasantly surprised that the doctor did his own testing and his own refractions. He was fast and accurate at the same time. He was very kind, understanding and easy to talk to. At checkout, there are ladies available to help chose your frames, or you can be left alone to decide without rush. My glasses were back in exactly 4 days (it wasnt a strong or complicated script, otherwise it could have possibly taken a week like they told me they might). They make sure the glasses fit good and are comfortable in every way, again without rushing. They let me know that sometimes it could take a few days to notice issues but if I did, to come right back in. I am very happy with the glasses and the services I recieved here. I highly recommend this optometrist to anyone who asks.

They are predudice against white looking people an suck!!! So very rude attitudes. They are never getting my service again. Plus they debited my account twice within two days.

Good experience. Friendly, helpful staff from sign-in to choosing new frames. Dr. was thorough, took his time throughout vision exam. Good wait-time between 1 or 2, 2 or 3, etc. No rush to choose. One of the best vision tests ever. Also received thoughtful, thorough tech assistance choosing frames. Highly recommend this SVS and hoping lab has same high standards with placement of prescription in the glasses.

I love my new glasses and sunglasses!! The staff are very friendly and down to earth. Easy to talk to and very helpful. I have a strong prescription and they helped me get the best lenses for my eyes. Excellent and caring staff. Quality product.

The optometrist was amazing with my 9yr old special needs daughter. He was very polite and patient. Made it fun for her.The receptionist helped her pick out frames that fit exactly what she was looking for and it was all 100% covered by my insurance. They are absolutely perfect in every way. Former Dr. Newman of previous Union Vision would be very proud.

Very friendly. And respectful they take the time to help. The only down fall to them is the waiting to be seen and how far out the scheduling is to be seen by there eye doctors. Other then that good selection on eye glasses.

Going to SVS Vision was a very pleasant experience. My wait time to see the doctor was not long at all and the gal who worked with me was extremely helpful and friendly.When I called for an appointment, I only had to wait about 3 weeks---not 3 -6 months like I would have to anywhere else...and I received excellent care. Id recommend SVS Vision to anyone for their eyeglasses and eye exam needs.

Staff is professional and polite. My children and I felt very welcome. Assistance with insurance information was accurate, it gave me the ability to have exact amount. The store was stull under remodeling, we felt a little cramp.

Thought I would get my next pair of glasses at this place and switch from pearl vision..worst thing I ever did. Glasses were worse then my reading glasses from dollar general...customer service was horrible..when I went to pick my glasses up..i literally got rushed out the door..pearl vision would make sure the glasses fit, and even made sure they didnt fall off my face..I use my $1 pair more then these $300 pieces of garbage..will never go back.

Been waiting 6+ months for an appointment for my daughter to get her eyes checked, finally get a call & they had her down for the wrong insurance so of course couldnt schedule her. Wont be calling back or attempting to schedule another appointment with this place, period!

From the start of walking in the door for my 9:30am appt and to the vey end in selecting my new glasses and sunglasses for the best combined price I couldnt be more satisfied.

Started out bad from the beginning. Waited 30 mins for my appt. Which was fine. Exam was suppose to be for glasses and contacts they didnt schedule me that way, dr told me to just bring in my old contacts they would go from those. Then they couldnt tell me how much my lenses would cost as I wanted progressives. Then they wanted $65. For a contact exam said my insurance wouldnt cover it. After I left they called and said oh that is covered we will order a trail set of contacts for you. The worst was they called scheduled my contact appt then called and cancelled they double booked then I recieved 4 calls telling me i had a appt on the day they canclled me. Cant wait to find out if i will be able to see with this new perscription.

Staff answered all our questions knowlegeably. My daughters glasses arrived in 3 days, and I was pleased to see that a hard case was standard issue.

Just received my new glasses from the Jackson Michigan store at a price of close to $1,000 and do to the fact that I don’t like the anti glare or tint on my glasses I don’t qualify for a cleaning kit I can’t believe that they will loose a customer or any referral from me over a $10 cleaning kitI knew I should have gone to a private optical place like I have done in the past
