Grew up eatting here. It was always great. Things changed. New owner cleaned place up... but food is NOT the same. Literally nothing I have tried is good anymore. Chili is watery..no flavor. Coney sauce is different texture.. no flavor. Bun is either soggy or stale. Fries taste like old grease.It was going down hill before Covid. And just got worse.Only thing still AWESOME is the waitress Georgia. ❤
Open hours are to short, prices are to high, hot dogs taste cheap not same as use to be
Dont expect to be served in a timely fashion if you arent a regular or they dont know you. I placed the third order of the day at 11:00am when they opened. I received my order at 11:26. All the regulars who placed their orders were in an out in 5 minutes. Even a couple that walked in ten minutes after I placed my order had their food before me. Simple order too. 5 Coneys, 2 fries. Everything was cold, hot dogs were burned, coney sauce seemed like it had been reheated about 20 times too many.
Food was nice an hot but definitely not seasoned or flavored very bland

I love the Coney Island Hot dogs. Everytime I go back home to visit, I make sure I get to Virginia Coney Island. I even buy the coney sauce frozen to take home.

This is tough. My brother in law drives 800 miles for a visit here and thinks they are life altering. I find them yucky. Next time I will have the grilled cheese.

Waited for my order a long time. The staff did a lot of talking to each other and seemed disorganized. Come to find out my order had been completed for quite awhile and no one called my name. It sat and was cold. Had to heat up when I got home. Anyways the food was very tasty.

My family loves this place every chance we get we pre-order 60-100 coney dogs. We live 3 1/2 hours away. My dad started us and my brothers and I have continued the tradition of passing down the trips to Jackson. Im bringing my youngest down tomorrow, bringing 60 back to Gaylord.
Disappointing used to eat Virginia coney all the time growing up and loved it, brings back memories of when my grandparents were alive. Very nostalgic, but nothing like it used to be the coney sauce did not taste the same at all and to many onions took my wife there for the first time hoping to show her how good it was but that was a mistake. Ill give it another try here soon maybe Ill change my opinion.

Nice place. Lots of customers, but heck of a lot better service then down the road. Professional and friendly here with seemly experienced quality workers. Will definitely be coming back again!
This is my favorite coney joint. The coneys are the best and the fries fried crispy are on point. They make homemade soups, which are very good and make you feel like your in heaven, but they need too switch the variety around a bit. Be prepared, they are usually always busy, call your order in a head of time.

I used to eat breakfast here all the time. Now they dont open til 11. So I had to find another restaurant that serves breakfast at regular breakfast time, not lunch time. I just dont get the logic.
My burger was under cooked. The cony dogs had WAY too many onions on it. Theconey sauce is just hamburger. Used to be much better place .

Dont recommend. Staff doesnt wear masks. Customers not social distancing got a simple order for a coney with cheese wrong.

I really liked the atmosphere it really brought out the feel of its age. I tried their famous Coney. The hotdog was cold and to be honest I thought the burger meat topping was just plain. Maybe thats how it is but I did not enjoy it. I know Ive had better Coneys throughout Jackson.

Hands down, the best coney dogs in Jackson county. Theyve been around a long time and the place has seen multiple owners. Look around and youll notice all the other places that had good coneys are all out of business! To me that speaks volumes on where Virginia is at today. Theyve survived because they do a great job! Sure you can go to Detroit where Coneys started, and you can listen to the news people on where to go, and By no means is it a classy place, but the serve good food at a good price for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

We got the 2 yellow lunch bag specials which had 2 tasty chili dogs (lots of onions and chili), bag of chips, cookie and a drink for little over $10.00. It is well worth the visit. Great service!
