My dad and I were coming through Jackson when the F450 lost the transmission in the process of moving. Called up Coleman Taylor and they got the tow truck to take us there. Best experience I have ever had with a shop. They repaired and rebuilt the transmission and had us on the road within 24 hours of breaking down. Helped us out a ton.

Very easy to work with. I called they gave me price over phone. They came and picked up vehicle for me. The process was very easy and seamless. It was a huge repair cost (transmission are not cheap) but due to the professionalism and eas of doing business it was well worth it.

Wonderful. fast experience. Had received a quote of $1700. from a dealership & couldnt afford that, so brought my vehicle to CT. Had a quote by that afternoon of $168.00! Just a leaky seal. Very nice mechanic explained everything where I could understand what was wrong. WOW is all I can say. Will certainly go back if ever I need to.

Sidney and his staff are great. The transmission in my delivery van went out, they had me back up and running within a couple days with a newly rebuilt transmission with a 2 year warranty for about the same cost as what the parts stores wanted for the transmission alone that I would have to install myself. As far as Im concerned they are the only transmission shop in west Tn.

Sid worked with my car warranty to replace the torque converter on my car. They made the repairs and the car drives great again.

They quoted me 4-5 days to do the repairs. They actually got it done in 2. So far I havent had any issues with the rebuild. The money that I spent on it I believe it was well worth having the gentlemen at Coleman Taylor Transmission take care of my little beast. Yes I call my 03 Yukon XL a little beast cause its a work mule and I can still get 20 miles to the gallon on the hwy. Thanks guys Ill be seeing you again soon for the follow up. Had transmission rebuilt for a very reasonable price. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Finished before the estimated time which was a major plus in my book. Definitely will return for any future needs.

We took our vehicle to Coleman Taylor’s to see what was wrong with it, the staff there was very knowledgeable, they checked out the transmission for no charge, we did have to get a new transmission, but it works great now

I was making a cross-country trip in my motor home with a recent installation of a rebuilt transmission. When I was in the area I called and described the issues I was having. They diagnosed the problem over the phone and told me to stop by in the morning. I was greeted by a friendly face and they corrected the problems quickly. This was one of the best and least costly experience I have ever had. I would recommend the shop for any repair based upon the service I received.

This was the best experience I have had in any auto repairs performed on any of my vehicles. The crew was very attentive to the desperate need in accommodating my time frame and my financial position. Although this was a costly investment in repairs they made it a gentle experience.

Great service in a very timely matter

Had questions about my transmission that just started to act up before I was going to travel to Ozarks of Arkansas. No engine light but I called Coleman Taylor to have them look at it. They where very professional and polite and hook up a little computer device and told me my transmission was the problem. Then he test drove it and advise me to not to go on my trip because my transmission was acting up. Im glad they had time to check it out for me. Saved me a lot of headaches if I wouldve taking a trip. I thank them so much for helping me. A very good place to go for transmission question or problems and a great staff.

Replaced my damaged rearend in a quick and timely manner

I needed a transmission a few years back and I gave them a try. Worst mistake ever! The receptionist talked very harsh to me first off. They charge a arm and leg for your car to stay on lot a few days even after you pay $1000s for a transmission that went out after they supposed to be best per receptionist. These 4 and 5 star reviews are bogus. These people are paid to give good reviews. I dont recommend anyone take car here. Seems like business is suffering at this time because commercials are frequently. If you all practice great customer service for everyone and stand by your word, then maybe God would be lenient on you.

They rebuilt my transfer case and didnt charge me for it. But only the transmission work. What a savings 💰

Transmission is working but the entire exhaust was left loose and leaking at all joints from the manifold all the way back .And for whatever reason the emergency brake cable was loosened from its guides .

I recently had a bad experience with them and I was shocked cause there normally very professional.made a diagnosis on my car and I allowed them to fix it and that same week the car was having the same issue and I paid 1,200.sidney ask me to return it and I did and he recommended someone else look at the car cause it wasn’t one he had worked on a lot and I understood that and requested a refund he offered to refund the money with the receipt but I wasn’t sure if I still had the receipt.it was there mis diagnosis and we all make mistakes sometimes.imformed may not have receipt and he refuse to refund my money when that money is what I need to get my car properly fixed now that someone else has diagnosed the issue no shade at them there very professional he ordered me a transmission years ago to go in my Jeep installed it and did a great job.i wasn’t guarding the receipt cause of the quality work they provide and I know for him not to be able to fix it was because he hadn’t worked on a lot of smt transmissions before,I hope they will consider returning my money without the receipt cause my car still not running and they have my money.

The people at Colman Taylor are top notch. However, it took 3 weeks to get my vehicle back. Not entirely the fault of Colman Taylor, the parts were shipped wrong 2 or 3 times.

Best place to go for any transmission problems. Fast friendly and knows what they are doinv. Thought i had a problem with my transmission and Sidney came out hooked it up to his scanner,he found out the problem was not the transmission and got me an appointment at another shop to fix the issue. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs the help.

Super awesome I was driving to California and I was lucky enough to break down near this place I hit a pot hole knocked a fitting loose on my transmission oil cooler line and the boss Sidney fixed it for free and filled my transmission oil if you going down I 40 and u can make it there fore any transmission issues I would highly advise it they know there stuff and super fair
