Was referred to the best mechanic in town and was charged $110 for a diagnostic and then they refused to do the work AFTER I was told my $110 would go toward the total bill once work was done. Told me I have to take it to a dealership and pay exorbitant prices b/c he (and I quote) doesnt want to do the job. I am disgusted w/ this business and will NEVER be back and will make sure to deter anyone I know, as well.

My mom had her transmission rebuilt. It went out again a few months later and they said it was seals, they fixed it, it went out a few months later, it was bolts this time. It has now gone out for the 3rd time since they serviced it. But the warranty is over so I guess were SOL. NEVER take your cars here. Waste of money.

Got my explorer back a month ago, had major issues from the start after i paid the 3000.00 bill i hopped in my suv and was missfireing bad then he tells me i should have a qualified tech look at it, i was pissed off at that moment so i left to have a qualified tech look at it and my 4wd light was flashing it was by no means drivable by the time i got to work the next morning would not go over 30mph courtesy in tucansha mi fixed my issue for 250.00 it was the o2 sensor plugs were reversed so now it running ok not really sure how they test drove my car to verify that the transmission was good. I called them to bring it in for the 4x4 light that was not on prier to transmission repair they had it for 4 more days and i called them they advised me they were tapping on the ground wire and it fix the issue. I literally drove out of the bay and it started flashing again as of now my transfer case heat shield is broke there was a green wire cut and clean copper exposed it a senor wire that goes in transfer case. also well i was under my car looking i could hear a significant exhaust leak so i notice when they pulled the driver side exhaust out they broke the oem bolt and drove in a 4 inch bolt and the spring is missing the other bolt is hanging there. As for the transmission thats ok but the installation or removal process is disgusting the now there is a oil leak between the transmission and engine most likely the rear main seal was not there prier to trans repairs as i have done oil changes on my own vehicle for over 10 years and in under there every 3 months. I have had 3 transmission replacement in my life twice at amco transmission for just over 2000.00 for similar vehicles they even cleaned and painted the transmission gold at amco and gattshall honestly they did not even clean the fluid up they spilled all over the other suspension parts i even doubt the pan will last a year with the rust on it. I would have paid for a new one if they called me to tell me i needed one. I will also be calling the dealership to see if they did not just swap the transmission and transfer case, if so they will be hearing from our family lawyer. So now my 4wd light flashing 10x still and in taking it this weekend to spend more to fix the exhaust leak on driver side. I had this car since new and i know every thing thats been replaced or worked on these were specifically from removal prosess.

Went to Gattshalls Transmissions to have my car looked at because it wasnt shifting properly and when it got to normal operating temp the car would not move at all. I thought it was something simple being it was a 2016. However, it ended up being the transmission was bad. It was the worst thing that could have happened. However, George (the shop owner) allowed me to make payments for the work that needed to be done. He also gave me a very fair price. I cannot thank him and his skilled mechanics enough for all they went through to get me back on the road. they are very honest and trustworthy and you can bet your bottom dollar that things will be done the right way and even better if you get work done there. they definitely went the extra mile on this job. GOOD JOB GUYS!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!! you now have a customer for life. THANKS A MILLION TIMES OVER!! #GHATTSHALLTRANSMISSIONS

I was debating on weather of buying a newer truck but now I have a truck that drives like its new. Thanks to everyone that had a hand in the repair. Mark

My dad had his car worked on and referred me here. I had my 2010 Buick Enclave in for transmission repair after losing reverse and having shifting issues. They kept me updated and fixed it quickly. A year later and it still drives great! Thanks Gattshalls for the great service and repair.

I had a transmission rebuilt by them and they did a horrible job reassembling the car back together. A few days after picking up the car, the whole drivers side knuckle about fell off. The problem was a crossed threaded CV axle. They did pick up the car and fixed the problem but the bad re-assembly could have caused an accident. I have then dealt with replacing the wheel bearing due to a damaged tone ring from this issue. I spent close to $3000 to have this transmission work done and this is the quality of work they give. I have some friends use this place before I could warn them and they have had similar experiences. One of my friends had them break his shift position sensor and claimed they didnt. He fortunately took video footage before they worked on his vehicle of it working so they were forced to replace it. Go to a different shop and have your work done.

A buddy, John referred me to Gattshalls Transmissions. They brought their truck in and had to replace their transmission. They gave them a fair deal on the job. Afterwards they were so pleased with it they always bring work back to Gattshalls now. So I brought in my 02 Jeep Cherokee because I thought the whole transmission needed to be replaced. However, to my surprise it only needed a solenoid and that was very affordable. Thanks to all the guys at Gattshall transmissions.
