We try to visit all Harley Davidson dealers when we travel. This is by far the worst we have ever to. Not very well kept up. The weeds and grass made us wonder if it was even open. The accessories had obviously been on the shelves for a while... The packaging was yellowed.
This is an awesome dealership. They treat their customers very good. What I like about this dealership is how once a year they cater there store for the riders of Run For The Wall. These riders leave California and ride through different states until they get to Washington DC to visit the Vietnam Memorial. This dealership caters to these riders once a year! Thank you! You are the best.
I only stopped here briefly on my way back from NOLA to Wisconsin. I was looking at used Ultras. I liked the feel of the dealership. It’s old school, not a fancy car dealership.I’m going to keep an eye on their website. They have an interesting assortment of used bikes. They treated this Yankee fine. Not that phony, back stabbing sweetness I get sometimes in the South.
In 40 years never got the service these guys gave me in a HD dealership. I was riding from Florida to California. Broke down just south of Jackson MS. Took 3 hours to get a tow truck. Wasn’t gonna get to dealership before closing. I called them and they waited for me to get there. They loaned me a vehicle so I could get some dinner and find a place to stay. Had my bike fixed the next day. (Stator went out). They called me. I brought their truck back. Picked up my bike and on my way. All in less than 24 hours. If you’re in this area, stop in here. Even if you don’t need anything. But a t shirt. This level of customer service has all but disappeared.
My local dealer (Indiana) found an obsolete NOS part shown in inventory here at HD of Jackson. Despite knowing I was not local and that I would not be in soon to purchase a new CVO, the parts lady (Alanna) truly went above and beyond to help. The part number I gave her was actually the wrong one. Alanna spent nearly 3 hours tracking down the correct SKU for my particular part and sent it to me knowing she was not making a sale - on an obsolete part - just to help a fellow rider out. There was a snag after that which was corrected within minutes. Service like this is incredibly rare nowadays. Truly cant say enough about HD Central and the staff I worked with. Youd have thought I was custom ordering a new CVO Ultra with the attention I was given. Well done Alanna!
Jimmy is a great guy and very helpful.
The mechanic, my 70 year old dad, spoke with was not only blatantly disrespectful but also raised the price, because why everytime we bring in a bike, he puts in a new battery and says its policy. Why we ust got the third one this month because you wont fox the problems.
Yes... when I walked in the store was less than lit. But, why waste the money on lights when no one is in there due to this pandemic? Why waste the money on lights when they first opened? They did turn the lights on so I could look at EVERYTHING in the store. I was greeted at the door by employees and they were more than helpful. They have a huge showroom and a large parts supply. I enjoyed my visit and will return. Especially for all the war stuff they do.
This was my first purchase of a Harley bike but my experience at Jackson Harley-Davidson was great. Staff was very friendly and my first experience of buying a Harley was great
Stopped on our travels, big store, cool shirts and stuff. Help wasnt the most pleasant. Actually, more rude than friendly.
I was trying to find a Harley Davidson leather jacket that was made in 2018. My local Harley Dealer was able to locate a new one at the Jackson Mississippi dealership and called to see if they would sell it to her and they said no. My local dealer gave me their number and I contacted them to see if they would sell the jacket at a discount and they would not budge on the price. I even spoke with the Sales Manager at the dealership and he could not assist as he stated the owner of the dealership would not discount the jacket. I was shocked that no discount was offered on something that is 2 years old. I am truly disappointed in their customer service.
No Veteran discount, no appreciation for a large purchase. Not what I expected from what they say they stand for.
Interesting dealer. Nothing like the boutique style shops along the interstate. They have all kinds of old and new parts, new and used cycles and plenty of gear. The prices are a little high, but they appear to be the only HD dealer for a few miles.
Dirty, unorganized, dark, most unfriendly. I had to speak first. Absolutely the worst HD we have ever experienced. Seemed like an outlet/thrift store. We were traveling from Fort Bragg, NC back to Texas and visiting multiple Harley stores along the way. We went out of the way to visit this one, and were highly disappointed.Don’t waste your time.
Showed up as they were closing, and they still took care of us. Thanks guys.
I was in the shop for approximately 30 minutes in that time no one from the staff made any effort whatsoever to help me! I was passing through the area and stopped in to look at some t-shirts. Which was impossible to do beings that the lights in the area that the clothing was in were pretty much turned off! I could somewhat see towards the front of the store due to the windows but further back where the womens clothing was it was almost pitch dark. Another customer asked why it was so dark and a salesman told him that he only kept the lights on where the bikes were as they made the most money! I then left without dropping any cash! Got back in my car, back on the road and found another Harley shop that was happy to sell me some clothing! They were happy with my cash! I was utterly disappointed in the Jackson Mississippi location and will not waste time there again, I do get to the area a few times a year.
The personnel here are wonderful and made the purchase very easy. Definitely recommend.
Thanks to all the staff and volunteers that put on The Trail of Honor every year.Great experience for the whole family.Lots of things to see and learn. As a proud son of a Vietnam Veteran I think it helps them to share there stories and experiences. To watch the vets talking and hugging is just moving to me.Great job to all.Cant wait till next year. This old world needs more of these events to show the next generation how they got to where they are. Thanks Again.
Greeted at the door! Friendly people! Good prices!big inventory!
Nice folks. Their clothing was a little disorganized but they have a great variety.
First time there. Heard the mechanic was good so I came here. Everyone seems to have a chip on there shoulder. No one at counter in back so I just roamed around a few. Mechanic having to answer phone and answer questions. So I figured out why he has a chip. Seems like that would keep him off of his putting bikes out in a timely manner. Riding gear in no particular order. Not sure if your looking at mens or womens gear. Kind of a clutter. One guy was professional and I didnt get his name. Shook my hand and took me to the area I needed. To him I say thanks. In my profession we cant have a bad day, or be rude to customers. That costs US money. Im sure it was owner who sent me in direction I needed. Guy showing me to it was the courteous one though. Hint : not everyone will return just because it says Harley Davidson on the sign out front. Beautiful store, great gear, good prices are nothing without a positive team. This may fall on deaf ears . Well see what my next experience is like, and whether theres another after that. Thank you for reading. And Im just being honest, one business man to another.
Gotta give this dealer a 5 star because of their large inventory as well as there awesome support to the military and veterans. The 3 story complex is awesome with a huge outdoor BBQ/fireplace outside on the top floor. Very cool place to visit, especially Veterans weekend when they host the Trail of Honor.
Great people! Was there for The Trail of Honor meeting. If you have not been to it, its a must see. Harley Davidson does it all with all volunteers at no charge to the public. Thank you Earl! Its also a great business!
Alls I gotta say is I couldnt have broke down at a better place... 1st - Theres Homer the shop manager he looked out for me in every which way... Then Earl the HD owner gave us a tour of the battle grounds he does for the soldiers... this is a VETERAN friendly location... I highly recommend this place even if its just to say Hi...
At best 1star. Worst experience ever with a Harley dealership and thats saying something. Was told my brand new fuel pump wouldnt kick on bc it needs 58-61psi on the line and its at 31. Well 31psi is a lot more than 0 when I installed the new fuel pump. Yelp, paid $162 for that knowledge.
Had some brake issues, took a few days for repairs and back on the road! Homer and the crew always gets it done! Its always good to see Jeff up front too!
Great service! Will buy from again.
Sales staff really went the extra mile to help me select a proper bike. Service dept was outstanding rigging out the extra accessories i wanted. owner financed the bike at a rate cheaper than i could find any where. whats not to like ? Great folks. go see Curtis or Jimmy in Sales and Homer in Service. you will be happy happy. Be safe riding!
Right place for sales and service when you need some repair work done
LITERALLY was ignored by everyone there. As I was looking at a White Street Glide commenting to my friend who was there with me, I looked around for a salesman to ask questions about the bike, but nobody was to be seen. Very disappointed!!!
Hog Heaven! Motorcycles forever and extras galore. The help doesnt pester you by being all over you as you browse their store but were very helpful when needed. Earl the owner is willing to do whatever it takes to make your time there great and to get you on your motorcycle of choice.
We were calling to see if apparel had a boot in stock. A girl answers the phone “Harley Davidson” and I ask to speak to apparel and her response was “this is her” rudely. Communication through the phone is the face of the dealership and first impression of what to expect. Miss. Heather lost good customers. Needs some major phone training.
Awesome service
Myself and my buddy were on the way in 2016 to Louisiana Hog Rally. Couldnt wait to visit Jackson HD. After we got there and found the not so friendly staff hell we couldnt wait to leave. After reading through the reviews, I see it hasnt changed much. Whats so bad is the locals there dont know what a great friendly store really is. Over here in Ga an Fla we have many great friendly dealerships. I really dont see ever visiting Jackson HD anymore.
The lights were off, not sure why. People friendly.
Love there merchandise
Went to the dealership for some advice on stepping my 103 up the salesman Eric gave me great advice so I went with it Mr Homer in the service parts an his guys did the work now when I say I have power an speed U best to believe it I read some of these comments that they are not friendly that BS they are u just got to be friendly to them to the owner Mr Earl always when he is walking around he will greet u with a smile an offer u somethings to eat when they have food around no matter what color or race it not what I heard it what I have seen so I can truly say all of these guys are friendly. Harley Davidson of jackson for life forgot to mention if this was a bad store they would not been in business for over 35 years that right now ride on.
I purchased my 2009 ultra at the shop in 2009. I have returned numerous times for scheduled maintenance and many other things over the years. I have always been treated with respect, courtesy and honesty. Recently, the service manager, Homer, saved me a towing fee and service charge by troubleshooting the problem with my HD, over the phone. The $3.00 fix ( a new battery for my security fob) solved the problem. I really appreciate the consistency of the work, and the positive customer service that I have experienced there. I highly recommend the Jackson MS. Harley Davidson.
The sign hasy husbanda me in it. LolThe store its self it horrible. We drove on up to South Haven
Just bought a bike from them. Great price 2,000 off MSRP-cant beat that any where! They were friendly and sales guys bent over backwards to help me out! Not the newest shop in the south but the BEST prices!!! :)
Eric is fantastic at the parts counter.
Most friendly people I have ever met ! They go above and beyond. The trail of honor witch they hold is a testament to their love of country and our veterans, past, present, future.thank you Earl, Mac, crew... Sarge!
Great stop! Earl spent time sharing some wonderful history from the area. We hope to be back in May!
We bought a motorcycle from Harley-Davidson which was in house financed. One of the worst mistakes we had ever made. Not only were we overcharge for the bike, but we were never given a correct balance throughout the term of payment. They informed us that they had not deducted everything and that it was no big deal. They said, they would get around to it when they can. When we finally decided to pay the bike off, they would never give us the correct balance. It was always wrong. We kept up with our records and informed them they had $600 missing from a principle payment which we showed them paperwork to prove it. So it took them an additional 2 weeks to subtract $600 from my balance. Eric at the counter could not understand why we were so upset and that was because of his lack of care for minority customers. Then they added extra interest at the end, which didnt belong. Earl the Owner of Harley-Davidson is a terrible, terrible person and the whole place should be shut down; or, replaced with a new owner that cares about everyone feelings regardless of color. If you want to buy a bike at Harley-Davidson, I encourage you to take the time and drive somewhere else so you dont have to go through what we went through.
Ive done a lot of business with this place in the past, but at this point Im going elsewhere. I called for estimate to replace a saddle bag on a bike and was told I had to bring the bike to them for a written estimate. Im almost 2 hours away from this place and Im not driving there for an estimate on some parts thats not even insurance related, especially since the parts can be shipped to me. Southern Thunder and also another dealer had no issue sending an estimate to my email. The guy on the phone with this dealership told me he could send a fax with a price on it but thats it. It sounds like somebody is trying to pocket some money somewhere so I cant recommend this place to anyone anymore.
Local Harley Davidson dealership. Five star all the way as expected. Great variety and great customer service. Prices are general Harley Davidson prices.
Love our Harley Davidson Soft Tail. Prices are outrageous on their parts. The Jackson MS. locations employees are very rude, not friendly at all. If it wasnt the closest one to our location we wouldnt go back in that store at all. NOW, The Harley Davidson motorcycle course is fantastic. They teach you everything you need to know and the instructors, what can I say other than BRAVO, . BRAVO. They are excellent at what they do. ( Thanks you guys, very nice gentlemen, had a blast and really learned alot.)Hell, they tought me how to ride and am still riding. I give the Motorcycle Course a 10 !!!
One of the worst Harley stores I have ever been in. Boxes every where know one spoke to you when you walked in. I felt like I was in a thrift store. Shirts out of stock and no one asked if they could look for any we had to do it ourselves. I had to try on in the bathroom and it was gross. Smelled like piss. I will not be going back and I will and have told all I know not to ever stop there. They are having a thing supporting veterans in May and asked us to support it and come back. But when my husband went to get his shirt and a coin for our son they do not give a military discount. This is the first Harley store that has not done that for him. And Harley states they support the troops and our military. My husband is active duty. And one more thing they charge you to use your credit card.We have spent a lot of money in the Harley stores we go in and have many bikes that travel with us but this is one that will not make it on our list to stop at.I put one star because it will not let me post other wise. But if I could I would not give any.........
Had the parts I needed the service was Johnny on the spot...
We stopped by on our way back to Indiana. It is the dirtiest Harley store Ive ever been in. The bikes looked like they hadnt been dusted in months. The help was unhelpful and acted like we were bothering them. The merchandise was poorly organized. There were virtually no shirts in L, XL, and XXL. We were very disappointed and do NOT recommend stopping by this Harley.
Great place and excellent customer service!!
Curtis the salesman is friendly and does not push for the sale. Homer in the service department is quiet but ensures my bike is in perfect riding condition. Homer and the service department go out of their way to tweak even the smallest of requests. Earl the owner always asks about my new bike and my satisfaction with how it rides. The sales staff is always helpful and will guide me in alternative parts if my model doesnt have what I want to add. I ride a 2018 lowrider and traded a 2011 Sportster in. Got what I paid for the Sportster as trade in plus in-store credit for a windshield, crash bar and additional seat on top of a good deal on the brand new bike. Could not ask for a better deal or a more fair experience
Staff could be friendlier. The head man, i forget his name, had a very arrogant attitude.. The work done was great quality, other than that it was not a great experience. I wont be bringing my bike here again simply due to the enviroment the staff creates.
Fround them to be friendly, answered all my questions also started a bike or two so I could see how they sounded and to see all the onboard electronics. Bought my first bike from them and will by my second one probably next year.
The shop area is filthy, no one staffs the service desk. I had to walk around the shop looking for someone in charge to get my bike repaired. After finding someone, I had to bring my bike into the shop among a plethora of parted out motorcycles, boxes and other trash. Staff is RUDE and completely uncaring of the customers that walk through their door! After complaining to the general manager, I was given the brush off and it was made clear that he didnt care in the least. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!
Good sales people, parts If they dont have it they can get it . Nice shoe room .
Although I dont own a Harley, I do come here once a year for the military event called trail of Honor. I salute the management for putting on such a great American event.
Did the Trail Of Honor for the weekend as reenactor. Staff are the best. treated us as family.
Slow times require filthy business tactics.. took my bike for an oil change, guy calls me telling me that there is something wrong and he would like to open it to see whats going on and say he will call me to let me know and see how to proceed, so i give him the go, next time i hear from them is i got a bill for $1144, i went mad as hell and pay for the very same day, i asked about them suppose to call me first to let me know what to do, their answer was : HOMER DIDNT CALL YOU ? I say no he didnt (what kind of name is Homer anyways ), ON TOP OF THAT THEY CHARGE ME $24 DOLLARS because i choose to pay with a credit card .. took a look on the bill, the strator and rotary kit $344 when it sales anywhere on internet for $120 same with the voltage regulator a $60 part and end paying them $204, that plus labor of course. .. now this is not the way I m use to do business, i wont be coming back to that place m I will load my bike and drive to MERIDIAN OR LOUISIANA before drop a cent up in this s!@#$%hole .
Friendly service and the salesmen were very nice and made you feel at home while you shop for your hog
Trail of Honor. You need to go there great place to visit
Great bunch of guys!
They did a great job fixing my friends Harley during our long ride. Hats off to them.
Helpful and knowledge, willing to work for you to help you find the best fit for you.
Good to get parts
My husband and I stopped by Jackson HD with our RK and FB from Atlantic Canada on rte to California. Bikes were in need of minor maintenance, oil changes, etc. Homer and the staff were great to deal with and took good care of us, also provided temp storage. There Southern hospitality will not be forgotten, they were a part of making our adventure successful!!!Thx again Homer!!
The Trail of Honor was going on we come here every year and have a great time
Best Harley shop in the universe. God would shop here if He had to buy them like everbody else.
Was alright. Best visit in a long time.
Friendly folks. Great service. Trail of Honor is Awesome.
LOVE THIS STORE !!!! HORRIBLE LOCATION ( IN A VERY VERY BAD PART OF TOWN )
Earl is a good fellow appreciate the things he does for our veterans
Great Place and friendly folks.
While on vacation on my way to Louisiana, driving from Indiana, I stopped in your store...was not greeted at the door,no one asked me if I needed help, and when I checked out with over $200 worth of merchandise I was rang up and sent on my way with not even a thank you...will not stop at your store again!!!
As a rider with RFTW it was one of my my favorite stops on our trip! Thanks to the owner!
Everyone always friendly and trying to help .one thing i can say is that they do everything possible to put you on the ride you want Jimmy and Curtis work hard for you to get it completed. I can say nothing but thanks .Anyone can be completly satisfied at this dealership just drop by be patient and get er done
Working Trail of Honor. What a great place.
I bought a new/used Road King Police. I had a great experience with Curtis Philpot!
Been there several times. Not friendly people at all. I suggest Chunky River H D in Meridan Ms. Get dealer and courteous
Awesome sales and service today,!!! Better than most,!!!
Eric and Mr. Earl are My FamilyMuch Love and Respect for those Guys
This Dealership Promotes veterans and veterans apparel but doesnt give veterans a discount!! The place was very dirty and very unhelpful!! Plus the charge you to use a credit card!! Very unhappy with the overall experience!!
Awesome, upbeat, spotless, and everything you could ask for when shopping for your HARLEY!!
Always friendly always on top ofA problem great place to hang
Very well stocked and excellent service.
We were traveling from wi. To new orleans. The security light came on and i lost cruise control. We checked the manual and it said to see a dealer. The closest was in jackson ms. We got there at 3:30.we were told that the service department was closed. He wouldnt even look at my bike. He said it was probably a loose bulb. We checked the lights out and found out we had no brake lights. We went to meridean hd. Got there at 6:45 and they looked at it right away.we were staying over night so they got us in at 9:00 the next morning.took an hour and ahalf and we were on our way.
Not clean at all To go boxes and take out bags and spilled drinks and trash all over the waiting area. Not really friendly but not outright rude. It needs to be updated.
Staff willing to help with anything. They dont turn their noses up on you if you own a different brand of motorcycle.
Had what I needed and what they didnt have they got it in a timely manner and what a great help with service I will return
Nice place...lots to choose from!
Had alot of merchandise but very disorganized!! Not a very professional looking shop! The clothes especially!! Alot of the packaging of the merchandise looked old and ragedy....kind of like it came from a flea market.
Bought a used bike here. They were professional and it was a good experience. Check out some of the classic bikes in there, they brought a smile to my face.
Great store friendly stuff
Its a Harley shop in okay if this is your nearest store use it if not I wouldnt travel to go there
Nice people that were very helpful. thanks.
