Had such a great experience here, the staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and good at remembering past customers, had come about a year and half previous and gotten the longboard and have been very happy with it and then yesterday went and picked up an entire new set up for skating and almost immediately fell in love with my new board. The staff was helpful in my decision making and made lots of good suggestions without feeling too pushy, board was put together for me and have been very happy with the outcome so far, will definitely be coming back for anytime I need anything skate related in the future!

I was looking to get back into skating after years of not do so. Dope thing about skating is all you need is a board, which lead me to this gem of a place. I was immediately greeted as soon as I stepped foot in the shop. From there I was assisted by Connor to help me with a build. This guy was hella cool. I told him my budget and he proceeded to show me different options, never once trying to push something on me, just offering suggestions. He made the experience great with his knowledge, chill vibes, and just being an awesome human! Very pleased with the setup we put together, and will definitely be back for future supplies.🤙

Even after reading all of the wonderful reviews, the service I received still exceeded all of my expectations. From the minute we walked through the door, the salesperson (I think it was Tyler) gave us his undivided attention. He was really kind to my 9-year old daughter and took the time to get to know her and her skating style before customizing her board. I liked that he directed the questions to her and did not rush her choices. He also educated her on different aspects of her board and considerations we needed to make for her continued growth (physical and skating skill). The salesperson stuck with my price limit- he did not push me to get anything unecessary. Though it was a busy Saturday morning, he stayed with us from start to finish. My daughter felt very special and absolutely loves her board. What a great place for families-we will definitely be returning for all of our future boards and gear!

This shop blew my expectations way away. Im 39 and ide buy decks here when i was a teen and its only gotten better. I got an AMAZING!! deal on a Bucky Powell Flight, it was not only way cheaper than any online site and even the sites charging $200 are sold out. I drove an hour to get there snd would have driven 4 hours. Thank you Surf and Skate and thank you Conner.

I have never felt so eagerly cared for with my million starter questions about surfskate boards. Im a total beginner and the guys here made me feel as if I was already going to be the best skater in the world. Man lemme tell you,First all ignore all the previous negative reviews.Tyler and his brother are the absolute best when it comes to sales.I was never really a skate board kind of person but me and my friend were skate boarding and decided to check out the store. Tyler had immediately greeted me and showed me the collection of long boards. I was immediately sold on a long board and Tyler even went as far as letting me skate down the isles and giving tips. When I was finished buying the skate board my friend bought shoes and I saw a nice pair of flip flops but I decided to not get them.I changed my mind mid way through the day and went back and asked Tyler to save the flip flops till next week because I get paid next week. Tyler not only said he would but he would honor the sale till the following week! Talk about amazing customer service.To respond a previous review I read, there is a sign posted at the counter that says NO REFUNDS ON CASH OR CREDIT.If the owner is reading this! Yall are doing customer service right and there needs to be more Tylers and his brothers (whos name I forgot, so sorry) out there!

I visited Surf & Skate during the Christmas season of 2020. My son had been asking for a skateboard since he was 4yrs old. We decided this would be the year he would receive one. I had no idea what I was looking for and that’s when I met Conor at Surf & Skate. He set me up with the perfect board for him. Even our son’s skate coach told other parents that this was the board they needed to get their sons.Now 3 months later, my son wants me to skate with him. So of course I went back to the place I trust. Conor took the time to listen to what I was looking for by asking me several questions. As a newbie to the sport (I haven’t skated in decades) I had complete confidence that he was putting together the perfect board for my needs. He could have over sold me but he didn’t. This place is awesome, I only just visited today. I only skated once when I was little and I kinda wanted to get back to it. So I was with my friend when we visited and I was just kinda window shopping and I didn’t really plan on buying anything. Though one of the workers there, Tyler, really sold me on this board and they even gave me a little bit of a discount, because I was new to skating. If you ever plan on skating or surfing, this is the place to go.

I’ve brought 3 of my little dudes in to buy skate set ups aside from my own shopping and they are just awesome! They take time to educate and allow you to customize. The kids felt like they were in the driver seat getting everything they wanted that was still “advisable”. They tossed me discounts and free stickers without me asking. Wonderful experience with this skate shop! Huge selection of well-made, top quality skateboards, unlike other shops in town. Very friendly and helpful sales folks who even taught my daughters how to properly ride and care for the boards! I really appreciated the variety of appropriate patterns for kids (i.e. no skateboards depicted mushrooms or pot!). And I loved that the shop is long-standing, locally owned and operated!! I recently started back skateboarding. Saw Tyler posting their stock in some skate groups. I decided to check it out. Their selection is huge for boards, trucks, wheels, t-shirts, etc. The pandemic has lots of places out of stock on everything but not this place. Tyler and Conner are awesome dudes and love to chat about skating. The prices are all reasonable and they will give you a heads up when you are after something in particular that they get in. Its about an hour drive for me to get there but its totally worth it. All the staff in general are very positive and upbeat. This might be annoying if you are a grump.

Our daughter wanted a skate board for Christmas. I know nothing about skate boards and decided to check this place out after going to a regular sporting shop got me no where. I’m so glad I did. They took the time to explain different boards to an uneducated skater. I expressed to them that I was afraid it will be a gift she tries out and then puts to the side because she doesn’t know how to use it properly. They said bring her in and we will give her tips and show her how to ride. That is just what they did. Wow! She was riding on it and making turns by the time we left. She loves it and has been out playing with her new favorite outdoor activity! Thank you all so much! We will be back for other items to support your business! Your time and effort was appreciated!

Came to this location to get my girl a longboard. Never been there before but let me tell you, these guys carry some fantastic sticks. Went in and was greeted right away and the guy who helped us was very informative on their merchandise. He even went as far as going out of his way to show my girl some riding tips! I ended up buying an Arbor board for my girl and for myself as well. I will be making this location my goto for my longboard needs!!

Best skate shop in town. I needed a landyachtz dinghy with a dragon on it. Special request for my sons birthday. Everything was sold out online and at the other stores. I stopped by surf and skate and jackpot. They just got a shipment in or something cause they had 2 to choose from. A red one and a green one. I chose the red. I noticed they also had the andy anderson powell flight deck in stock so I got one of those for me.
