Definitely a store you can find great products at a nice discount and always a variety. I personally would have given a better rating if there were more staff and the ones that are there were shown how to prioritize. A cashier was literally talking with a customer about what seemed to be colors which would have been fine if she didnt have a line to cash out then proceed to leave the cash register to walk back into the store to show her something that wasnt a priority. I stood in line for roughly eleven minutes before before cashing out. Although the one and only other cashier was very pleasant and new how to delegate between immediate and other things that could wait until there werent customers waiting to cash out. Also she went above and beyond for me and did all this within the time it took the other woman to walk ten feet. Also the store manager nice enough should have jumped on a register and helped but instead walked up to void out a transaction which took all of five seconds then walked back and sat down to finish what he was doing on the computer which could have waited until the line was gone. Store is clean and for the most part what you would expect a department store to be. Just dont go when its super busy because if you dont have patience or are in a hurry you will be extremely disappointed.

One of the cleanest, organized and friendly Big Lots Ive been in.

The store items have improved, however there is no help.....1 cashier...11 people waiting in line....no one has time for that.

Not the friendliest environment was only looking for something specific or would have gone elsewhere.

I purchased a beautiful sweater marked $12.00, but rang up $5.99! The store is very organized, too bad some customers do not respect it as I saw a woman run over a rolled up rug and dragged it with her cart! 😳

I hadnt been to Big Lots in months. The store was cleaner and had been remodeled. It was a very nice upgrade. The downside is their grocery section is slot smaller than it was, as is the pet section. I was disappointed in that. They have considerably expanded their furniture section, which seems to be the main focus of the store now.

Centrally located and tons of parking. This Big Lots store is spacious and clean. The layout makes sense to shopping quickly with the most common used items front and center. Their furniture area has plenty of room to browse and try out the floor models. They have great prices on their seasonal items and just about everything else. The store is a great place to shop and save money.

It took a while to get help with some furniture and when we finally did it was one mess up after another. We had to explain what we wanted and when we would be picking it up 3 or more times. The associate was clearly only listening to the fact that we wanted to buy something and nothing else. Not a good experience.

This big lots has a really good selection of linens like towels, sheets and blankets. Their housewares are interesting and occasionally you will find a great price for things. We have gotten furniture from the store and everything we have purchased has held up well without being too pricey. Im not as impressed with their grocery department and the personal care section is a joke. Its a fun store to poke around in now and then to see what deals they have.

I paid for a sofa on 11/26/19 and returned on 11/29/19 with a truck to pick it up (the only day this truck was available) and I was told that it had been sold to someone else! So I ordered another one. Because of the hassle and mix up, I asked for and was assured that I would get free delivery for that sofa today,12/6/19. Didnt happen! Now the store is saying NEXT Friday! Horrible! Corporate office was called but with the wait for them to do anything about this it sounds like it will be Friday before anything is settled!

I love this store. Its fun to shop and see the variety. There was awesome patio furniture today along with the brand name living room furnishings.

Big Lots in Jamestown New York as a wide variety of items that people need everyday and a huge variety of unique items from imported Foods to home decor. They are priced reasonably and the store is set up for ease of shopping. It is neat and clean and the staff was helpful, friendly and polite. There is something for everyone and the prices are very reasonable.

Loved Big Lots! Looking for decorating ideas for the upcoming seasons and found them! Ill be back again!

Not as good as it used to be. Used to find bargains now you find high priced stuff that you can get a a high priced store, so why do I need to shop at Big Lots anymore.

I visited big lots for furniture. They need to do better keeping up with their inventory . We wasted hours here looking at furniture, finding what we wanted and then waiting for the person in that department to go in the warehouse only to come out stating thats out of stock. Everything was out of stock. No clipboard no computer no cards on the furniture in the showroom stating out of stock. Just us waiting and waiting.

I think that some of, their merchandise is over priced.

They redid the store it looks amazing and a much more open and pleasant shopping experience than before. Things are more open,less dirty and better lighting!

Located in Brooklyn square, this store was updated inside in July of 2018. It is well maintained with a lot of parking. It shares a plaza type building with a dollar type store which is tiny and cramped inside. Also located at the other end of the parking lot are a Tim Hortons coffee and doughnut shop and a bank.The location is usually easily accessible by car and foot traffic in the city. However, during the spring, summer, and fall of 2018 the bridge on South Main Street is being rebuilt / replaced and effects the normal traffic patterns making it more difficult to reach from the north / downtown area.

They redid the whole store very nice my couch is very comfortable along with my bed. They have a 90 days same as cash deal which is very helpful.But you need to pay within 90 days or the price doubles.

This Big Lots is off the beaten path a bit, but just. It is right off highway 60. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, and the last couple of times I went in they were playing loud rap music. The store itself is clean and pretty well stocked as well as nicely organized. I live 30 miles away, so its especially disappointing if they dont have what I wanted. I am also a bit less likely to visit now with an Ollies only one mile from me. Still, this is a good Jamestown option.

Friendly workers! But some of the merchandise would be marked one price and ring up a higher price or the shelf would say a lower price and it would ring higher, plus I also found one item marked at two very different prices one was $6 and the other$9 for the same exact item. I know its not all their fault, but watch out for that because if the short time I was in there and found at least 3 different items wrong like that, who knows how many other things are wrong as well?? Its just a little frustrating.

I like browsing Biglots for deals as they often have specials for electronics, kitchenware, and bathroom supplies. Its a big enough store to have a variety of items, including food and furniture, but not too large to easily shop the whole store.
