Came in to get a muffler. They informed me of an exhaust manifold leak. I picked out the “Tip” then they went to work, even checking with me for it’s placement. Maybe 45 mins or less. Excellent service, friendly. Estimated price was what I paid... Muffler, tailpipe and tip. Price quoted was $350, paid $360 and tipped them a dub. You need quality exhaust work? THIS IS THE PLACE!!!

Have been going here for exhaust work for about 7 years and I Had them weld on an s-pipe and muffler and it came out great. Love that they are straight forward, and the price always comes out to be EXACTLY what they estimated, if not less. Always take great care with your vehicle, get the work done in a timely manner, and ask for your opinion of the task at hand so that it gets done to the best of your liking. Ive been going with these guys for exhaust work for at least the last five years. Great customer service, prices and fast turn around time for repairs or custom exhaust work. They stand behind their work too. You wont be disappointed doing business with these guys!

My exhaust pipe rusted out and the flange broke. I drove to mexmuffler at 4:40p.m. thinking they close at 6:00p.m. this isnt getting fixed today. I arrived there at 4:50p.m. and they got my car up within 5 minuets they brought me out showed me the problem said they could fix it in 30 mins and it would cost $160.00 parts, labor, tax and all. (Im not saying thats too high or too low I dont know enough about auto repair to say thats why Ive added what was wrong so you can judge yourself) I was out of there by 5:20p.m. in a very quiet car. Very happy with the speed and service. I hated how loud my car was and was super happy to have it fixed. Staff was friendly as well. In my opinion you should take all muffler work to them. They dont do appointments but dont let that stop you from going. Like I said I stopped in at 4:50 and was out the door by 5:20 also they are open on Saturday and thats awesome for people working the 9-5 m-f. I am adding a photo I found online that is not my car, but the circled part is what was rusted out on my car. Thats what they fixed so you judge that $160.00 price on your own. I willing paid it because I couldnt handle my car being that loud anymore.

Needed the flex pipe that connects to the maifold replaced as well as the muffler. ANOTHER SHOP QUOTED ME $1300 because they felt they had to replace everything. These guys were able to replace only the damaged sections including a CAT and it cost me just $475. They were great!! Will go back if I need other work for sure

Seem honest but are pricey for some things. Im very choosey about who I will let work on my vehicle and I trust these guys for the most part-more than other mechanics in the area or in general. Its also challenging to get a five star review from me. Not leaving four because rating standards have changed over the years and I dont want to ruin their rating. 5 used to mean above and beyond.

Went in to have them put a new flowmaster 40 muffler on my 98 Cherokee and they did an amazing job! The welds can survive a nuclear bomb. The exhaust pipe that they put on I left up to their judgment to help it sound better and Im glad I did! The tip they helped me decide on is big but it doesnt look bad at all! All in all for what was done the price was great and Im so happy I went there. Everything was done in about an hour!

This is a muffler shop that is operated by immigrants. There was a slight communication problem but was easily overcome. Saul was a friendly manager and the other employees are friendly as well. The cost of installation of a resonator on my vehicle was reasonable. Probably could have gotten it done for less but overall was convenient. Convenience does have a cost. Its a busy shop but its also operated with efficiency. Id recommend it to anyone that needs exhaust work.

This place is biased and racist when they think they can get away with it. If they are not getting the work then they are pushy and unhelpful. We had a issue with a fuel line and because they were not doing the work they refused to let a white guy repair his Hispanic wifes truck who was visiting the great store and restaurant next door. I do not recommend this place after the actions and how they treated people. After sending many people to them for work to be done I will never have anything good to say about them again. Beware of how you treat people.

When everybody else was quoting thousands to repair my exhaust system, these guys were able to do it for considerably less.

I took my 06 impala there cause I had a few pipes with holes and they cut the pipe and welded the holes for 90$ and It took them like 10 minutes. Definitely recommend them ya 90 might seem high but the quality makes up for it. 5 out of 5

First they didnt try push anything on me in fact they told me where to go to get my parts cheaper to save ME MONEY yes you heard me right!!!!!!! Thats what they do here in unlike 99& of all the other places you go to. They are real people who care and take the time to help you and save you money. You dont find that service anywhere anymore. I would highly recommend if you want quality work and depending on what you want to spend you go see these folks because there very honest and very good people.

My exhaust system was Swiss cheese. I took the car down to Speedy Muffler. They looked at my car quickly, showed me four places that were bad, quoted me a price to replace the whole thing that was more than I was interested in, and then told me they could fix the four problem areas for a very reasonable price. The guys worked quickly and well. Its like a whole new car. They also changed the oil in my car while they were there. I was so pleased I asked them to fix my wifes car, which they did that same day.I couldnt be happier with the speed, communication, quality of work, and value. About a week ago part of my exhaust fell off of my car. I have a 2002 Outback Wagon. I brought my car down for an estimate and had the guys down there do the work. There is a night and day difference in the sound and performance of my car. They were prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. I would use them again without question.

Friendly, Fast repair. They only fix what’s broken. Parts needed (shocks) were ordered by myself and taken in with car to be installed.

I just took my car to Speedy Muffler & Brakes and I cant believe how fast they were able to fix my car. I knew exactly what was wrong with it, because I originally took it to the other muffler shop in Janesville. The other guy showed me what was wrong--the exhaust pipe had rusted through near the muffler. It was right near a bend so that guy said the only thing he could do is replace the entire muffler. He quoted me $175-200 for a new muffler including the labor to install it. I told that guy I didnt have that kind of money right now and that I planned to get rid of the car in less than 2 months after I graduate college. I asked if he could just weld it back together or anything else to give it a temporary fix. He refused and said it couldnt be done. Well I asked around and someone suggested I stop at Speedy. They thoroughly explained the issue and even found some additional exhaust issues that the other guy missed. I explained I was going to junk the car in 2 months and asked if they could just reattach it at the break. They said no problem and told me it would cost $25. They did exactly what the other guy said was impossible...and it only took them 10 minutes.

Speedys is very reasonable and wont cost you an arm and a leg like other places. On top of that they do very good work. I take my car there first and they let me know if they are able to fix it or not.

They welded my tail pipes so close to the pumpkin on my truck it rubs going in and out of parking lots they told me it wasnt their problem then want to charge me 90 more dollars to put a new pipe on which it dont need they just welded it to close. Then to fix the problem they want to heat up the pipe and pound a dent in that spot so it dont rub anymore really just fix the problem it didnt rub when I took it in to them but it now rubs and they say its not from what they did well if not them who cause no one else worked on my truck besides them they are a joke avoid at all cost yea they are on the cheap side and you get what you pay for the cheap fix always turns out expensive in the long run. Sad to say its hard to find a good shop these days and be able to trust the work is done right. And a buddy of mine took his trail blazer to them for some engine work and the same day from getting it back the motor blew up from the fix they did and no one would talk to him about it they hung up on him then changed the shop name after he called someone to handle the problem just a joke.

Wonderful friendly staff, in and outta there in 30 minutes, saved me a ton of cash. Need I say more, Id recommend these guys to anyone!

I have a VW I use to get to work and back. its a $1,200 car at best. The exhaust pipe rusted and broke off. They welded a new pipe on for me and its just like new. If I had gone to a muffler shop they would of wanted to replace the muffler and maybe the whole exhaust! costing me about half the price of the vehicles worth. Im glad there are shops like this around still!

I paid a professional price to have a brake line replaced and ended up with substandard shade tree mechanic results. I could have done it for $20 but I would have had to have been blindfolded to match their quality. Will never take anything to them again.

I have used speedy muffler at least 4 times for different cars over the last three years and have always had fantastic service. The last time I came in I thought I needed a catalitic coverter but they found that I really only needed a sensor. They have always been honest and up front with all of their services and not try to sell you something you really dont need, that is why I keep coming back.

Yes they are fast. thats about it. took my car there to get exhaust put on (had all the exhaust with me) they cut my old stuff off in pieces after i told them i was saving it. they cut and welded (without looking) the new exhaust on. throwing it all over the ground and dropping it. i didnt bill came out to lil over $100. needles to say i didnt even make it out of town before the exhaust broke and was loud. drove straight back home and had a friend re weld up everything. NOW it has no leaks and hasnt broke since. will not go there again id rather have no exhaust on my car
