I first stepped my feet into this store yesterday and it was like magic. They dont make this kind of store anymore. Obviously old, if not ancient, with probably thousands of items in it that I definitely am sure that the owners know where they are at exactly. It is so clean and well maintained. I was in a hurry and only wanted to get a dry yeast for wine, the old guy talked about technicalities of making wine and tried to explain to me as best as he could. I hope in other occasions I can talk to him and learn some more. I ended up gawking at so many cast iron items on the table and buying one. Similar price with Amazon, I tell ya. Also, dont trust review that said theyre not nice to strangers. You cant be more of a stranger than an Asian girl in a hardware store in Southern Indiana, yet they were so friendly to me and my daughter. I love this place and hope to come back again with more time on hand. I hope this store will never close.

It is like going back into time. An old fashioned hardware store. You will see things you havent seen in years. The only drawback as if you are stranger they dont make you feel welcome. They watch you like youre going to rob a store
