We recently made the decision to change eye doctors. We went to CMEC and it was the best decision!!! The staff was attentive and friendly, the doctor was so nice, thorough and knowledgeable. This was a much needed change, we would recommend anyone to go there.

A wonderful group that uses the most state of the art technology available and is very attentive to my vision needs. The staff and the opticians have couldn’t have been nicer! Keep up the great work!

Im not a patient yet but from what I saw on Monday I am looking forward to my appointment. I stopped in to ask a few questions about my insurance coverage and make an appointment. While I was waiting to speak to the receptionist some jerk was ranting and raving about an appointment he was supposed to confirm but didnt. The lady at the front desk was kind and offered to accommodate him but it looked like he just wanted to be mad. After he left, the same lady helped me with my questions and scheduled my appointment. Even though she had just been screamed at, she still went beyond just telling me that they were approved doctors for my insurance to actually looking up my copays and coverage. If the doctors are as good as the front desk staff then I will be a patient for life!

To be clear, this is not my first dissatisfactory visit with CMEA. The last appointment I had in 2020, the actual doctor forgot to write my contacts prescription, so I was forced to go a month and a half without contacts until they got up to speed. But today, I walk in their with an appointment at 10 am on April 20th, 2021. Im told they dont have me scheduled. When I show them this text message saying I do in fact have an appointment at 10 am on April 20th, 2021, Im asked if I can do 4pm later in the day. Meaning I would have to miss another day of work, as I travel. I tell them that I postponed my work week for this appointment, and I planned to leave immediately after this appointment. Im told they can work me in at 11:30. Which is insane beacuse it wasnt a walk-in at a barber shop, I 110% had a scheduled appointment. Now I have to go through the process of getting entirely new insurance so Im capable of getting good, timely, and responsible service when I need it. I would not reccommend CMEA to anyone.

I like the people that work in the place, kinda shady billing practices though.Charged me for my visit and contacts and billed the insurance company as well.That being said, the billing manager can never be reached, never returned calls.Otherwise, nice people and competent doctors.

I highly recommend the Central Missouri Eyecare Associates. Their professional staff is available to explain any procedure being done, the reason for it and the results. Making an appointment is easy and now being able to do it on line and to being able to confirm your appointment on line is great.The front desk staff is friendly, courteous and can quickly deal with questions of insurance coverage. The waiting is comfortable and attractive.I can not imagine going any where else for my grandson and my eye care.Georgina Gonzalez

Would have given ZERO stars if I could. Have gone here for years. Never had any problems and would have rated them 5 stars. Last visit I was charged twice for my copay. Didnt notice it for a couple of months. When I did, I printed out my account activity sheet and took it in. Was told they could only see it as coming out once. I again pointed out the charge being debited twice from my account, same day for both charges. I was told they would look into it and get back to me and that it might take two weeks. Two weeks, nobody called. I called and spoke to the person I had originally talked to and this was the response Ummmm, I havent heard anything. Let me put you through to the office manager. She did not answer so I left a message....3 weeks ago. Great customer service. To completely ignore a customer is pretty bad. The bank is involved in getting my money back now.

Great place! Theyre friendly and helpful, yet professional. And I love Dr. Cohen! Shes patient, explains everything, and is a great listener. I trust her for the health of my eyes and wouldnt go anywhere else. Highly recommend Central Missouri Eyecare Assoc. for the whole family.

The people were so nice,the got my glasses in really in good time.They made sure glasses fit good too!!

Hands down...the best experience I have had with eye care professionals. Dr. Greene gave a very in-depth exam, friendly and explained findings. The office staff were all friendly, answered all questions, assisted in all my eye care needs. Everyone cared about me and treated me like I was valued and not just another number to process. Thank you for taking time to care about your customers. It makes a difference and it really is appreciated. :)

Excellent experience as always at Central Missouri Eyecare! Dr. Greene has been my eye doctor for my entire life! Hes always so nice and explains everything clearly. Everyone Ive encountered at his office have been helpful and polite. I just had an appointment earlier this week and I was in and out in no time. I recommend them to my friends and family!

Ive seen each of the providers in this office at one point and the service is always GREAT! Dr. Green is my provider and he has always been on point, but if he isnt available the other covering providers are also awesome. Staff is friendly and helpful as well! Highly recommend this office for eyecare needs.

I seen Dr Houghland for the first time last week ! I was impressed because I have a hard time focusing because of many problems and he took his time with me ! Most of them try to rush me through and it never winds up good for me ! He took his time and in return a received a pair of glasses that I can see out of ! I was very impressed and will be returning when the time comes for new glasses !!

Ive been seeing Dr. Greene since I came to Jefferson City in 1999. I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. They are not only very competent, but also very friendly. I look forward to seeing them.

The office staff are great. Always pleasant. They give honest opinions when you ask. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. Dr. Green is great also.

I am a first-time patient of Dr. Houglands. I was very impressed by his professionalism and the time he took with me to answer all of my questions. The staff was very polite and helpful as they assisted me in choosing my glasses. I was so pleased...... that before I left I made an appointment for my son!!

Ive been going to CMEA annually for several years now and the staff is always great--friendly, courteous, and always explain issues about insurance. Ive seen Dr. Cohen the last 3-4 visits and shes great--efficient, friendly, and always answers any questions I have in a way I can understand. Highly recommended!

We have been going to Dr. Greene as a family for several years now and have not had a bad experience. 4 of us wear glasses and 1 wears contacts and glasses.We use Dr. Greenes office for all our eye needs.. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I just started going to see Dr. Hougland last year. I am the type that is very leery of new doctors. I must say that I made the right choice choosing Dr. Hougland for my eye doctor. He is very knowledgeable and has great bedside manners. He spends as much time with you as needed to give best care possible.

My appointment was with Dr. Hoagland. It was my first visit to an eye care professional since moving to Jefferson City. Everything about the experience was professional and pleasant. My insurance was accepted and my new glasses arrived quickly. They are perfect! I will definitely go back to Dr. Hoagland for eye care in the future.
