Its a little outdated ..but convenient for the surrounding neighborhoods.

Easy in / easy out. Friendly staff always. Sometimes limited stock, but I usually go for the essentials since its nearby & they always have those.

The staff is very friendly. Someone even helped my daughter find information on applying for a job. The cashier had a great attitude and I appreciated her humor.

A nice quick stop in Jension, check all dates before you buy anything perishable. I have shopped here for 5 years and consistently find expired products in the cooler sections. I usually push them way back to prevent someone from buying them.

The store is always clean. The prices are a little more expensive than Meijer. I like this store because it is close to home and when I need something it is easier to go to. Once in a while, you come across some extremely good deals though.

I used to come here on a regular basis to shop for my husband and I and I have never out of the 2 years coming here had a bad experience. The workers are always friendly and willing to help me when I need it! Most of them are smiling and happy when you make eye contact and that makes me feel comfortable!

Have a nice variety of brands .Its smaller and has more of a community feeling to it .Have a nice policy of marking items down when they are close to their expiration date .

The YES card is seriously the best.I do really like the deli area at family fair, there’s typically always some kind of deal going on. Some items can be a little higher than other stores & some items you may not find. However that doesn’t mean you may not find a NEW product to try, which will almost always turn into a new must have. Check out lines can get a little long though depending on the time you are shopping, but the checkout girl I had tonight was awesome! I didn’t catch her name but she was very polite & made sure to greet customers coming in & leaving while still maintaining a conversation with me. It was great honestly.

Bakery and deli need a major upgrade. One type of roll (thanksgiving needs!), donuts have gone downhill with the new branding and no fresh cooler of easy to grab cheeses, dips, subs, etc. It is one of the smaller ones, but I tend to drive farther or go to Meijer/Aldi for these things now.

This supermarket has a great variety for being smaller in size. They have all categories of groceries and it seems to be maintained with care. Has the feel of a mom and pop business. I also like that it is not packed with people so its a calm shopping experience with out all the hustle and bustle of going to a Mijers. I would recommend this place when shopping with kids or if you dislike lines, crowds or noise. Its clean and well stocked at all times.

Personally I prefer this site to the other grocery stores in the area. It has that old time feel and I can always get in and out with what I need quickly. It is a small location and sometimes they dont have something I want but that is a small price to pay for the convenience.

Their store brand name stuff is not as low cost as most of the big box stores. But out of most of your stores this is the one I like the best. The employees are not snobs.

This was simply the oldest FF that I have visited. Its far overdue for a total replacement. Note that I could not find any cucumbers and no rigatoni noodles.

My first shopping trip to the store by myself 2.5 months after a major foot surgery. I am not full weight bearing and still using crutches so had to ride in the amigo cart. Employees were helpful and offered assistance often. They even bagged my groceries and brought them to the truck for me in this years first snowfall.

I absolutely could not live without this store, the staff is friendly, the store is clean, and it is very convenient. The produce department beats any other grocery store. Sandy who appears to be in charge of it, hes very knowledgeable and helpful!

Limited selection, high prices and unfriendly staff. There is a reason that this place is never crowded. Just go to Meijer, you will wind up going there anyway for the stuff that you couldnt find here.

A good spot for a quick grocery trip. Prices are higher here but you pay for convenience not being so busy.

Its a smaller store than some others, and isnt 24/7, but otherwise its as good as any other Family Fare. Has the advantage of not being on a busy pair of roads like the nearby meijer, so you never have to worry about traffic, and with 3 road exits you likely wont ever have a problem with roadwork.Staff are reliable and friendly.Doesnt stock everything a larger store would.

4th time out of 4 times coming here that this particular Family Fare Fastlane is messed up. Very nice about mistakes; however, it keeps happening and this time I sat in the parking lot waiting for almost 40 minutes and almost 20 minutes with the food in my car because they were having a problem with bananas on my receipt. I asked if I could leave because I get the receipt emailed anyway and was told no. At the end of the 40 minutes (on top of 30 extra min after my pick up time) I got an Im sorry maam and the bananas are free... which is great except that the pizza that I had ordered for a group at my home that was done at 4 oclock is ruined and its 4:40. This is a bigger problem than a problem with bananas. This is why you need designated staff working fast lane or not offer it. So frustrating. I will drive to Grandville from now on.

This store is like the red-headed step-child. If I had never been to a different family fare I would probably never return to this store again. Its old, dirty looking, seems dark inside and just feels crowded. If I need a family fare I will go to hudsonville. Otherwise Ill go to meijer. Maybe I just got spoiled at the other family fares!

Where to even start. The staff are either really friendly or rude, and they are always understaffed. A couple family members used to work there and it was awful for them.

I still. Go there.....Granted. You never have anyone on Service desk, and limited in Cashiers on the lanes...I need to check myself out most of the time........but the store is clean, Usually I can get out. In reasonable time.

My 2 star review does not reflect upon the staff, it is simply the managements lack of scheduling enough employees for the amount of customers.

I couldnt find buttermilk, which I have bought there before. So I asked the service manager that was doing some sort of paper work behind the counter. I told her I couldnt find buttermilk and asked her if they still carried it. Her reply surprised me. She said if its not there they dont have it and continued on with her paperwork. I asked the cashier what that girls name was and told her had happened. She offered to go look for me, the response I had expected from the other girl. Just wanted to let the people know.

Close to home easy to find what I need

You cant go wrong with a quick trip to Family Fare. However I was a little confused with the latest manager special I came across there, see picture. But despite that I always enjoy my quick stops at the Fare.

I Can’t shop at this family fare anymore!! It’s less than a mile from my house which makes me more iterated. I always leave having to go to yet another store to finish shopping. Service desk has no service people at it, ever. It isn’t half as nice as other family fares. But just as pricey???

Overall, most things you need. However, Meijer is close by and has a better selection. I live close by and this is my usual store but FamilyFare should think about investing more into this store.
