Absolutely awful. You cannot call the pharmacy to speak to a pharmacist ever. Ive waited over 30 minutes on hold (with a short song that loops every 10 seconds...way to drive someone nuts)... and then had the pharmacist just pick up to hang up....multiple times!!!! I wasted 1.5 hours trying to get to them today alone. The wait time for a call is NEVER under 15 minutes even on a good day. Ive literally had my phone almost die because i called and waited back to back. Then when you go in person, they dont have your medicine ready and make you wait in the store. Either they are understaffed and overworked or absolutely awful at their jobs. I tried calling to speak to the store manager, they dont answer either. I feel I have no choice but to leave this review. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. Im going to have all my physicians send my prescriptions elsewhere moving forward.
The store has good employees who are helpful, knowledgeable in the location of the products within the store, they smile, not rude at all, which is a + + always given the times we are living in.They now locked a lot of the products, which it’s understandable, can we blame them for doing so?Each lane has at least 2 “Customer Service” buttons to be pressed if a customer needs a product unlocked by an employee…..but!…..WE (the customers) should be able to press the button without having to walk to the front of the store, to ask an employee for help, to then walk back to the isle and show the employee what we need and then walk back up to the front and pay!!! (See pictures).They might as well remove the button option all together.The pharmacy: !!What has happen to it?!!I know with COVID and Quarantine they had a lot on their hands, but the customer service (for me) has gone from 5 stars to 2 stars.Example: I called 2 times, the 1st call, I was on hold for 3 minutes, no answer, I gave up and called back.2nd call, I was kept on hold for 14 minutes, I drove to the store & still no answer while I was on hold.I literally walked in and watch the girls behind the counter talking, working on their computers, great they are working, BUT SHUT UP and ANSWER THE DAM PHONEs, I hung up, the hold line on their side stopped (See pictures).At the point, I didn’t mention anything, I mean would they have cared?………NAH!They do not seem to know how the pharmacy automated system works. I told the cashier I got a call to pick up my medication, gave her my DOB, she didn’t see anything in her system, I mention to her I have a voicemail stating it was ready, she then saids “our system only calls when you need a refill, not when its ready” …….Lol…….oh my…..that’s concerning, I showed her the voicemail Walgreens left oh my phone, on an iPhone you can even ready it the voicemail, (See pictures).Save your e-mails, texts, voicemails etc. just in case they ask for it thinking you wont have anything.The store: Is still one of the most decent pharmacy stores around this area, still looks organized and neat, with helpful employees.
Worst walgreen ever. the store manager and assistant manager have so much attitude they dont know how to treat people. Poor cashiers whom have to work under those manager.. I am following up with a claim that I sent to corporate lets see what they do about it.another thing is; they dont want to sale the products they have in stock.. they say there is limit for sale items. if you dont want to sale a product why do you bring the price dawn????just to confirm everything I just say, just go back and take a look all the others reviews no one has something good to say about this specific store.
This is the WORST Walgreens Ive ever been to. I had scheduled a vaccine appointment for my daughter so she is vaccinated and protected against the virus before school starts. We made a call and gave the Walgreens line her information in order to schedule an appointment for the next day and it was confirmed. The day of the appointment we go to Walgreens only to find out they hadnt put our appointment into the system. I tried reasoning with the staff and they gave us quite an attitude. If smaller pharmacies dont need an appointment to vaccine someone, how come a big one such as Walgreens does? Here goes another day without a vaccinated child that has a higher risk of being infected. I do not recommend going to Walgreens if you, your family, or friends want to get vaccinated. Rating this pharmacy even a single star is too much. Thanks for putting my child at risk, Walgreens.

I come in here regularly and got accused of stealing. I noticed the price of protein seemed high so I scanned it on my phone to compare. When I went to leave, they asked if I took anything. The manager told his brown employee to stop me at the door if I didnt buy anything.I let him inspect my bag and I left. The employee was so uncomfortable doing it that I felt bad for him. I passed the cops on the way out. They really planned to have me arrested for taking a photo of a product. They need to do better.
Got an e-mail that a poster I had ordered for a gift was ready and I came in and they said they don’t even have poster paper bigger than 11 inches. The girl at cashier said it probably told me it was ready because she printed something out? I left my e-mail and phone number so they could have easily contacted me instead of having to come all this way for absolutely no reason.

They are the worst. I sent an order to print a calendar with a picture for a gift. They were supposed to call me when ready in 2 days. I went 3 days later and they said the printer ran out of ink and ink has been ordered and to come back 2 days later. I went back 4 days later and they said the machine that prints it isnt working and technician is coming tomorrow to fix it. Another two days go by and I randomly checked my email and saw they sent an email saying sorry but your order is cancelled. What kind of business do you run?!!! Raise minimum wage? They dont deserve to get paid $5. Bunch of useless people they got working there.
When I went to this drug store, I was greeted politely with big smiles on their faces! I am so satisfied with the experience I had at this drug store because they really helped me! Highly recommended!
Again I had a situation with the Walgreens on Summit Ave by 5th St.They called me on Tues to let me know that I could pick up my Rx the next day at 10am. I didn’t go the next day, I went on Thurs to find out it still wasn’t ready ok not going to lie I was a little upset but what really made my blood boiled was when the tech tells me “Oh but they didn’t tell you to come pick it up” now I’m thinking but how does she know what they told me if she wasn’t even on the phone call. That lady has some nerve smhI’m definitely going to be looking for another pharmacy.

This store is a nightmare. I have been calling for almost a week for my prescription. They take my number and say the pharmacist will call me. Never been called back. It is an absolute joke. Doesnt help that the last time I was in there, there was a mouse crawling in the candy by the register. I shouldve made a scene! Such a disappointment.

Prices are incorrect. The on the counter price for face masks is $29.99 plus taxes. Then I found that the price at the cashier is 34.99 plus taxes. When I asked why it is different from the shelf price, he told me that this is the price on the system and it is not his problem. I asked for the manager and he didn’t reply then I told him that I can raise a complaint and he carelessly told me this is the price on the system and asked if I want to buy it.Afterwards I left and found another supermarket selling the same number of masks for $25 only.

I tried returning a slot machine bought before Christmas, for some reason I didn’t gift so wanted to return it. The sales person said I cannot return it as it’s a seasonal sale.Neither they didn’t put any disclaimer nor notice or the sales person didn’t mention about this while purchasing. I said the same to the SP, they started way too much in a rude way saying it’s common sense, and all. Which is not a formal conversation. The store manager behaved the same. Thought the new walgreens store is near to my house and no need to go till the path station, but was wrong. Worst Customer Service. Not suggested if the service still continues.
Despite having read poor reviews about this pharmacy, I decided to give it a chance. Since it was recently changed from Rite Aid to Walgreens, I figured it must have improved.But I was wrong.Unfortunately, I spent a full week uselessly trying to get a prescription filled here. After speaking with 5+ employees and stopping in 4 separate times, I have still not received it. In fact, I have not even received the same information even twice.Every day, I am told my medication will arrive tomorrow. On the second day, I received a text from Wallgreens alerting me that it was ready. After 3 days, I was told they accidentally never ordered it.Overall, I have had a horrible experience and wasted a lot of time here. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone, and I will be seeking a replacement for my next prescription.
I spent 30 min on hold to call in a prescription. Twice my phone call was disconnected. When I finally got service the only excuse was that they were busy. Thats no excuse. i have left messages for telephone prescriptions at other Walgreens Pharmacies that were not filled until i arrived and reminded them of the call. BAD
Just horrible. Better off changing walgreens pharmacy. Came at 5:54pm to pick up medicine and the lady at the pharmacy counter said to come back at 6:30 because the consultant is on break. I asked her if she can come just for a minute to approve because i have work at 7pm and she said to just wait until 6:30 and no way to get it. she wouldnt even try to ask the consultant or manager on break. And remind you i was there at 5:54 pm and she said to be back at 6:30 which is like 36 minutes of break. Like who gets that long break. Left without the medicine and changing pharmacy. Rite aid had muchh better service as it was before.
Lazy and rude staff. Prices are not correct & when I asked to manager about it, she was so rude & told me that we’re only two people working here, what we can do. Always makes an excuses & worst customer service. The staff including store manager are irresponsible. Never suggest anyone to go this Walgreen again.

They Mislabeled my dad’s medications and put the medications on file under my name. The actual label had my name on it. Disappointing.
Absolutely terrible pharmacy. My medication was called in 10 days ago and it still isnt in stock. These kinds of things happen all the time. Lines are long, pharmacy staff is slow. Get your medication filled somewhere else!
The pharmacy is a joke, it takes longer than they say, they have a phone/text thing but even when its ready, dont be surprised if you stand on line waiting for another 15/20 minutes. Try CVS up the block in union city.
I called for a prescription for a patient needing antibiotic. No one was picking up the phone, waited for at least 10 minutes for the 2 times I called. I ended up leaving a voicemail message as I have other work to do.Then, patient called and said the pharmacy didnt get any prescription for her. I said, to check their voicemail. Then, she came back and said there was no voicemail message left. REALLY?!?!I called again.... but the same thing! Waited for at least 15 minutes, nobody answered the phone.SO RIDICULOUS!!!!!I just asked the patient for another pharmacy where they can get the medicines. And in just 3 minutes, everything was done!Again, horrible place!!!

The staff members are so mean!!!When I ask a question, nicely they left me talking and started to talk to each other!!! After she finally pay attention to me I asked if I could please use the restroom and she said that they don’t let customers use their restroom! When I reply that that’s the first time I hear that at a ride aid (I been a customer for years), she reply that everybody says that! With the worst attitude and rolling her eyes!
Getting worst in pharmacy department. Even if you tell them you are in pain. They will take their sweet time. Which is over hour to fill one script. Rite aid is not considering this situation any more I believe. Thank you
Went for passport photos and they have a cool Polaroid camera which definitely takes better pictures than Walgreens in Hoboken which took photos with old school camera which took horrible photos. So, I definitely recommend this, plus there is parking. Definitely accessible and easy on JFK.
If checkouts were faster it would be better. You have to get lucky and have no line in order to save 5 - 10 minutes

Another photo issue, machine is broken and they don’t bother to call. Order was placed Tuesday, ive been here twice. They directed me to place order in Jersey City but same story there. Today is late Thursday.
I have gone to this store a few times to pick up a few small items, however the prices here are outrageous compared to other pharmacies in the area. Save your money and walk abother three blocks to the CVS.
This place is an absolute JOKE ! The WORST pharmacy! Its like theyre running a circus show. Everytime I go to get my medication, theres ALWAYS a problem! Theyve given me another womans prescriptions along with her information! That goes against HIPA Regulations as well as other problems. I couldve overdosed on that medication if I werent diligent enough, and thankful enough that I always have to check things out for myself and not trusting this pharmacy in GIVING ME MY PROPER MEDICATION, because thats exactly what they failed to do. I couldve DIED, and then WHAT? Theyd continue to do the same to another human being. This could happen to anyones family, your children, mother, father, brother, sister, grandparents etc. And who is held accountable? No one! I am definitely seeking legal action!
