I had a bad experience with a audio installation in Union City, so this time I did my research and saw the reviews for this place. The name Dave kept popping up and I see why. I called to inquire a price for him to figure out why my lights were dimming from the previous installation and also add a new amp and subs I brought to replace the garbage I brought from the other place… Dave told me to come to the shop after 3 so he can see what I have. I got there at 3:30 and my car was done before six. He explained everything to me in detail and didn’t try to rob me.. System thumbs like crazy and I’m beyond satisfied. I called this place to inquire about sub woofer and amp installation. Everything was perfectly explained with price and details. I called again to set up an appointment and they set me up the very next morning! Dave was awesome and explained how everything will be installed on my car. I finally took the plunge and got a CarPlay system for my car. After calling around to a few shops, Professional Sound was the most reasonably priced, so I made an appointment.The morning of, I dropped off my car and spoke with Dave. He was very knowledgeable and you could tell hes been in the business for awhile. We went through the whole process and what needed to be done: the Sony system installation, connect to my backup camera and steering wheel controls, and replace the 12v cigarette lighter with a dual USB port. Dave let me know that the cigarette lighter replacement might cause some fitting issues, so he walked me through some alternatives if it didnt work out.I came to pick up my car 3 hours later and everything was perfectly installed! The total came out to $428 with tax. There were definitely some cheaper options out there but I felt comfortable knowing that the job would be done correctly the first time here.

We all know, Jersey winters can be harsh in temperatures. A way to alleviate my moms morning drive to work was to gift her a car starter so she can warm up her car from the comfort of her home and job. After making some calls and doing some research I found Professional Sound & Security. After reading the reviews I decided to give them a call to inquire more information on the installation process and prices. I spoke with Dave on the phone who was very patient in explaining to me the options they have available.I was able to schedule an appointment three days before Christmas Eve to have the car starter installed just in time for her Christmas present.Upon arrival Dave walked me through the different devices available for my moms make, model and year of car. The whole installation took about 3.5 hours after drop off. Dave walked me through the use of the controls so I wouldnt have any issues showing my mom how to use the starter.If there were such a thing as a bed side manner review for car audio/security and installation I would give Dave and his establishment a 10/10. I highly recommend them and I am looking forward to coming back to have a starter installed in my own car.Thank you Dave for your professionalism and honesty. I came in to install a Bavsound amplifier to my car. Dave was able to set up an appointment the very next morning. After bringing it the next morning, they were finish in less than an hour. After installation, Dave had me test out the sound and showed me pictures of the installation and how it was installed through his phone. He gave me a very good price for in the installation. Also, the sound is super loud! I would highly recommend Professional Sound & Security for anyone looking to upgrade the speaker system. Also this place is military friendly.

Love this place! They put in a subwoofer and amp in my 2016 Fiat. Sound has improved immensely. They were reasonably priced, worked fast, and the customer service was great! I plan to come back here to get my windows tinted.

I had a very great experience and was very happy to meet Dave. Dave Walked through in detail my BMW explaining the poor Workman ship causing the problems with my surround sound system. He pointed out the problems and how unstable the connections were in my amplifier. Him and his staff went out of there way and fixed the head unit which was loose and connected improperly there where somethings that I didn’t even mention that were taking care of. David was very nice informative and professional the work done was great. I am truly glad I was able to work with Dave this is definitely the place to drive the extra mile for work that needs to be done on your car. I will definitely be back for future upgrades.

I can’t speak highly enough of Dave and his crew. True top notch professionals. I came to Dave when I wanted to have him install an aftermarket headunit that I had purchased online. He scoped out the work, gave me a fair estimate and installed it. Even when there were issues with the product that I brought him, he went out of way to test connections and try to resolve the issue. Dave helped me determine that the issue was coming from one of the parts that the manufacturer had provided, so I was able to get a replacement from the manufacturer and Dave & his crew finished the installation. It’s a testament to the domain expertise that Dave and his team bring to the table. I also had them do ceramic window tint on my car and that came out perfect. If you want to work with someone who’s honest, fair and stands behind their work give them a call.

Dave was fantastic. I recently picked up my dream car and was terrified to let anyone touch it, but a trusted friend told me about his previous positive experiences with Dave so I decided to give him a shot. I brought my own dashcam for installation and he did an absolutely phenomenal job. The wiring looks incredibly clean and I now have a functional dashcam.The process was quite simple. I called Dave, he gave me a reasonable (and accurate) price estimate and worked with me to schedule an appointment that fit my schedule. I showed up, told him where I wanted it and he shared some local knowledge about great places to eat in the area while I waited. Horrible experience. I went to install led light in my car. He first quote me 800 to install the led kit. The 100 x2 each for interior led kit and 120 to install door panels led so that should be 1120. The the end of the deal it came out to 1520 and I really just wanted the job done. So I gave him a 400 dollar Deposit. The day I come I. The drop off the car for the same job we agree for . He don’t do it and I never bought in the kit. Which I did because I got quote for. He try raising the price again. I took my money and left . BIG TIME SCAMMER. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE .and I did not bring any additional items, it’s sad people can’t do honest business no more.

This review should have been given in 2003 when I first brought my 97 Geo Tracker in to have a Stereo/CD player installed. As a single female you worry if you are being taken advantage of and Dave was extremely transparent with options and pricing making it a very pleasant experience. MY STEREO STILL WORKED!My story does not end there for when I purchased my Audi TT 3.2 convertible I wanted to change out the radio and I was advised against it for there was no need How honest of you Dave!Today I paid Dave a visit for 4 years ago I purchased a vintage 94 Geo Tracker and the stereo that came with the car was not getting my SiriusXM signal. Called up Dave to make an impromptu appointment for the Benz LED logo installation and as always the job came thru and was done professionally as expected...In my earlier review I posted about how they installed my 18” chrome alloy rims by carefully dismounting the off road tires from the OEM rims and transferring the OEM TPMS sensors to the new rims without damaging the tires and the rims at a price commensurate to the job.

I took my scion 2005 and upgraded the stereo to a touch screen and it works amazing! ALSO installed remote start and tints. The manager was very professional, helpful and and very nice. The job was done beautifully, clean and easy. When i picked it up the manager explained everything to me and then told me that if i have any questions to always stop by and that they will explain things to me again, that, that is what they are there for. If you need anything for your car as far as remote start, rims, tint or stereo and security they are the best in jersey city.

Took in a 2010 Jeep to have the original radio swapped out for something newer. David was on top of what i wanted and his price was cheaper by minimum 80 dollars of other places i looked into. This man will educate you on what he has and suggest what you might find useful. Once the job is done he walks you through the use of the product. Ill definitely be back for other work. After reading the reviews online and driving pass a few times, I decided to give this place a shot. I went early in the morning on a Saturday to have my headlights replaced. Dave greeted me, explained the price, which was more than fair. He had his team begin working on my car immediately. He was even willing to test out different options for me, before I made a final decision. While the work was being done, he held conversations with me as if weve known each other for years. I realized this was just who Dave was, because a few longtime customers came in while I was there and it was clear some just came to talk. Hes obviously a well liked and trusted guy. My lights came out great and Dave made the wait a pleasurable experience. This was by far one of the best customer service experiences I had with any mechanic or shop.

I dropped off my 2001 Jeep Cherokee on 09/11 for a head unit install. The work was completed in about 35 minutes WITHOUT an appointment. I cannot stress how happy I am with the service and the very reasonable pricing. The owner took the time to explain to me the newer features, and I left a VERY satisfied customer.

Very professional, I wasnt sure what type of guage wire I needed for my project, he broke it down for me gave me the best option and gave me a discount. Great service. Also I thought I needed headlight bulbs for my truck, because my fogs would turn on with low beams but not with high beams without even looking he explained to me that I have a custom set up, and I dont need bulbs I just need to rewire the set up. He was right. He couldve try to sell me merchandise but he was honest. I will definitely be back

I have been going to Pro Sound for about three years now. I can say with absolute certainty with out a doubt, that Pro Sound is the best Auto Enhancement business I have ever been too. Took my truck in yesterday to get tinted. I was told the guy was running late, so I waited. My appointment was for 10 but the guy got there 11:15, he had my car done in an hour and the work is great. Although I did wait a little longer, it was definitely worth it. I dont usually do Google reviews, but I would definitely take my business back to Professional!

Dave is a nice guy. He seems to be very expensive too. Give you stuff for reasonable price which discontinues work during the time. As mentioned hes a nice guy and offers upgrade that means money. Today I am here again for the fourth upgrade for the same alarm. The total of which will come up to Roughly $1500.00. I guess it is little too much. Not to mention the numerous visits I had to make for trouble shooting! Thanks to Dave and thanks to Professional Sound!

For many months I have been struggling trying to find the right auto shop to go get my subs and amp installed. Boy oh boy am I so thankful for Yelp and Google! As everyone basically stated below, Dave is very friendly and knowledgeable! He explained the whole process of getting my subs installed and even let me try out different subs in my car. I was able to make an appointment the same day that I called for a quote and everything took no more than a hour and a half (which Dave was right on the money about).
