I sent a picture of what cake I wanted for my daughters birthday. I was told certain items they couldn’t do which was fine. I paid over $165 for a cake that looked nothing like what I requested. We were very disappointed. The stirrups looked like a 5 year old molded them. The top tier was marble and was dry. Overall I was not happy with the product I received.

I was visiting Greeneville, TN from California. I googled bakery near me. After checking website of several bakeries, I choose JK Sweets in Johnson City. I called in my order. Every aspect of transaction... from phone call to quality of product exceeded my expectations. The owner is creative, friendly, takes pride in her creations, and serves a generous portion of hospitality. Thank you for making my sisters birthday delicious, colorful and special.

If I could give 0 stars I would.....They did a horriable job on my daughters wedding cake and I would not recommend them to anyone that is needing a nice cake..

JK done my wedding cake yesterday it was so beautiful, everyone there was bragging on the flavors and how perfect it was!!!! We hired JK Sweet Cakes for our wedding, and from the initial cake tasting, it was a pleasure working with them. Jenny was a professional from start to finish, giving us recommendations based on our inspiration photos. We wanted a very simple cake that was all about flavor, and thats exactly what she created for us (though I know she can also do super-creative, intricate designs based on the photos she showed us). She even took my random call when we found a beautiful silver cake platter at an antique store, and was able to confirm the size of our bottom layer off the top of her head!! When our final payment got lost in the mail, she followed up by phone, then even let me know when the check finally arrived (though it apparently looked like it had been dragged through the mud!) so I wouldnt worry about a lost check. Day of the wedding, she was right on time (per my coordinator), and the cake itself was DELICIOUS! We ate the rest of the first tier on our min-moon post-wedding and decided wed simply hire her to make us a 1st anniversary cake instead of worrying about the whole freeze-and-thaw tradition. Id recommend her to any bride (or anyone in general!) who wants to work with a talented, reliable cake maker.

Got my moms 50th birthday cake from JK Sweet Cakes and it was amazing. We got the carrot cake and it’s the best carrot cake I’ve ever tasted! They were amazing to work with me since I was coming in from Florida and surprising my mom with a birthday party. They were extremely friendly, answered all my questions and make everything perfect! Thank you JK Sweet Cakes my mom will be using you in the future for all their needs.

The cake I bought was definitely not worth the $50 I payed for it and I’m a little disappointed cause of the fact it was my daughters birthday party and even the kids didn’t want more than 1 slice of cake what kid denies more cake I guess I will stick to Food City at least I know I pay my $40 and it taste like $40 not $10 this cake I wasted my money I felt like I could’ve made the cake at home I usually always get compliments on my baby’s cake I have for the last 9yrs and this her 10th birthday and the cake was a fail I will not be ordering again

My family ordered my grandmother a 70th birthday cake with a burgundy and gold color scheme, per our personal request. Jenny made a beautiful cake, it was part strawberry, part almond. It was DELICIOUS. The cake icing was the perfect texture and tasted amazing along with the cake itself. She used different textures and colors on the cake icing and it was just phenomenal. Her customer service is a 10/10. I would recommend JK sweet cakes to anyone looking to support local business, and are in search of delicious cakes!

Best cakes around hands down

I needed to get cupcakes for my moms birthday and so I called around to see what kind of cupcakes each shop had. Needless to say JK had a good variety and intriguing flavors. I got four cupcakes: blackberry, key lime, lemon/blueberry, and red velvet. These were the best cupcakes Ive ever had! My mom isnt really a red velvet fan and it made the top two! If you are in the need of some cupcakes go to JK!!!
