I’ve had an inoperable garage door opener for years and after my daughter cleaned out the garage we decided to fix the door. The technician was able to come out the same day I called. He did everything to fix it but determined it should be replaced. He had a couple of openers on his truck and was able to install it immediately. He was there an hour and forty-five minutes total - Super fast! He was very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all my questions and made sure the opener operated smoothly before he left.

Called and you get a central call center. Scheduled a same day appointment and was impressed with the speed and the technician. Then things went severely downhill. A part was ordered that was supposed to take two weeks. It has almost been a month and so I have called repeatedly and have gotten zero updates. The central call center calls the parts desk but no one returns calls or can provide any information. The latest was I asked to speak to a manager and the representative called every number she could call and could not get a person to answer. Horrible customer service.

I called on Saturday morning and a repairman was at my home fixing a broken spring. He programmed my new SUV opener so I could use instead of the hand operating one. He lubricatedall the door rollers, springs, and bearings. He sent an invoice with s two year warranty on the two replaced springs. He also instructed me on lubricating the springs every 6 months and what type lubricant to use. Would highly recommend this company for future service.

As far as the actual work goes we are pleased with our new doors. They work smoothly and quietly. The work is top notch.The reason for a 3 star review is for what it took to get there. We were originally scheduled for an install between 10:00 am and noon on a Friday. The guy didn’t arrive until around 3:00 pm. He worked for about an hour and said he needed to come back on Saturday. I said ok and he said he would be back at 9:00 am. At 10:40 am on Saturday still no sign of him. I called and he said it would be about another hour. He didn’t show up until after 2:00 pm and on top of that he didn’t knock or anything. He just lifted the garage door and walked on in.Despite multiple attempts to reach any sort of management via google and their website I was not able to speak to anyone. The employee provided his managers cell phone number. The manager came out and finished the job right away.

The office and scheduling staff were professional and efficient. The technician sent to do the work did exactly what they described he would.My problem was that the garage door opener would raise the door just a couple of feet and stop. The technician came and identified the issue as a broken torsion spring. Provided options for repair the were fair and addressed the issue. He was not a sales person at all. He could have tried to sell me a whole new opener system, but he was honest and just presented options to address the broken part.I elected to replace both springs to avoid having to call them back when the other one breaks next month, and to get the 2 year warranty.I will call Precision for any other issues with the garage door and recommend them to my friends!

The spring to my garage door broke. The person that came out to fix it was extremely rude. I paid $450.00 To fix a broken spring. The door took 2 days to fix. Day 1 they came out and the guy was rude and complained because it was hot in the garage and because there was not an additional for in the garage. The issue was thrown at me every time he came in and out. I placed 2 fans in the garage. Complained because I had a shelf next to the door and let me know several times how that was the worst idea ever. I offered to move it while he was taking a break and he said he didn’t have an hour for me to move my shelf. I cleared the shelves and he said it was fine . Before leaving for the day he made it clear that I needed to move it before coming he returned. It took me 5 minutes to move the shelf.He said he would be back in the morning. I called Precision and they said he would be there 9-11. He calle at 1230 to say he would be here at 1:30.He did fix the spring and wot have been a good service call if he would have been respectful. I didn’t pay 450.00 for someone to come into my home and disrespect me.

Installer Thomas went above and beyond expectations ...worked hard with attention to detail...very professional in installing my two doors. The office...that’s another issue...my job was not completed in one day due to Thomas getting to the job later in the afternoon. Thomas was due to return first thing next morning, but the office sent him on another job prior to finishing mine...not very professional. Don’t you think you should finish a job prior to sending your installer on another?? That is why 4 stars...5 for Thomas and 3 for office.

Called and made an appointment for between 11 - 1 and it was for a Saturday. Thomas called about 11:30 and said he would be at the house within 15 minutes. He was there exactly as promised and had all of the proper and necessary PPE. I told him I was into maintenance and he indicated that he wished more people felt the same. He checked out the door said it needed some minor adjustments and went about what needed to be done. While he was working he explained exactly what and why he was doing it. It took about 20 - 25 minutes and were good for a lot more opening and closings of the door. :)

Everything was very professional and prompt. I had dented my garage door and am not in a position to replace it.
