On April 3, 2021 I placed an order on line and purchased a walk in bath soaker nothing fancy just a base model walk in bath for a 88 year old senior citizen. I followed up with a phone call to verify the time frame for delivery and was advised it will be in production by June 11, 2021 and after production it could take additional 2 weeks for delivery. I follow up with multiple calls that started from May 4 up to May 15 because the plan was to redo sheet rock once the tub was installed. June 16 call, I was told I have a sales rep that will be contacting me shortly about my order. I advised I never had a sales rep I place the order on-line. I received the call and was advised my order could not be fulfilled and I would be receiving a refund that would take 10 business days. My 88 year mother has been standing by for over 60 business days to now have to restart over with this project that started in April. Its very sad when you are in business to help the elderly yet you hurt them!!

Scotty helped me choose a hot tub! He had 14 years of experience with this company. He was knowledgeable and able to assist me in making a great choice! I would recommend Aqua Living Factory Outlet. It is fantastic to support a local company!

I placed an order in June 2020 for a swim spa. I was told it would take six to eight weeks for delivery. At about the seven week mark, I started trying to contact them. Initially, the only way I could ever get a response was to contact the salesperson who made the sale. I was told it would be another three to four weeks and that they would contact me when they were ready to ship. I contacted them intermittently over the next several months and each time I was told they were way behind and that it was an industry wide problem. They said they would contact me when they were ready to ship. I was never contacted by them on their own initiative for a status update. And each time I contacted them requesting a status update, I was never given one. The only thing they would say is we are way behind and we will get it out to you if you will wait. Finally toward the end of January 2021 I contacted them again and they offered to refund my deposit. So I replied that I wanted that. To their credit, they did refund my deposit in a timely manner. I just wish they had been honest with me at the beginning and I dont understand why they could never give me some idea of how many weeks out my order was. So if you are thinking about ordering a swim spa from this company, be prepared to wait a loooooong time. I dont know if they are still telling customers it takes 6 - 8 weeks for delivery; but if they are, I can tell you it was false in my instance.

I placed an order for our hot tub on Black Friday of 2020. It is now March 30, 2021 and I have still not received my hot tub. I have sent two emails now to the manager Brian Elmore with no response. Don’t buy here!!

I think they provided thorough concise answers when questioned. The product received was made very well. The fit and finish was superb. Packaging was impressive. You must have help to offload the spa with truck driver and this was communicated upfront of purchase. The representative was professional and very accommodation with quick email remain replied. The phone communication was on par. I do recommend this company & product.

I will never recommend this company to anybody. The experience I have had with this company has been one problem after another. It took twice as long for our Dr. Wellness s-12 spa to be delivered. We ordered our spa the 10th of July and got it 11th of October after we were assured that this suppose to be a 6 week process tops. The spa came in damaged and 9 months later I still do not have replacement panels to replace the panels that came in damaged when the spa was delivered. I have been on hold for more than an hour and a half. Even with the discounts offered this product is not worth the hassle.

I had an excellent experience purchasing my hot tub from Aqua Living in Johnson City, Tennessee. Danielle was very knowledgeable about the different models. She listened to my needs and directed me to the perfect hot tub. Very low pressure! Delivery was supposed to be in three weeks, but it arrived in only two.

My wife and I had a great experience working with Danielle directly in person at the Aqua Living Factory Outlet Store in Johnson City. When shopping for any kind of investment it is alway best (if you can) to go in person, put your eyes on the product itself, and have actual face to face human interaction with a representative. Danielle was able to both be super informative but also give us our space as we made an important decision about buying something that hopefully would last us for years to come. We didn’t feel pressured or like we were getting a “hard sell” (which would have been a deal breaker frankly), but rather felt like we had all the time in the world, which made our decision easy. I highly recommend both Aqua Living and Danielle if you’re in the market for a spa.

Excellent customer service and all around purchasing experience. We were told approximately 4 weeks for delivery but our spa was completed in 2.5 weeks. Danielle (our sales person) was informative and knowledgeable and gave us plenty of information about our spa.

Bought a PP-31 on January 4th and it was delivered on the 14th. Danielle from the factory showroom in Johnson City Tn. Showed us the tub and answered all our questions. We had a 220 volt spa in Florida but this 110 volt plug and play is just as powerful. We have it in our sun room so we don’t need to have the pumps and heater running at the same time. We love the color (midnight canyon and mocha trim). Filled it and turned it on at dinner time and it was ready in the morning. Love the calf and foot massage on the dual recliners. Perfect for the two of us. Checking the electric meter it cost $2 for the first fill and heat. Not bad for the middle of winter cold water. Also very quiet compared to our other spa. You can have a nice conversation without raising your voice. We are in our early 70’s and love it. Highly recommend.

I ordered a 5 person not tub through Home Depot for my family as an anniversary gift for my wife. After confirming it was in stock at LPI I was given an expected date of April 29-May 4. Not only did the order never arrive, they failed to follow up with me or home depot. Finally after almost a week they cancelled my order. I applied for a Home Depot credit card based upon this not tub. I was left to look for a more expensive hot tub of less quality based upon their failure. Worst than that, my anniversary gift is delayed by a month.

We purchased a hot tub directly from the factory in Johnson City, TN last spring. Almost a year later we are still very pleased with the spa and how it has performed. We had an electrician come and ensure it was wired to specifications. Everything started up just as the owners manual stated it would. We are fastidious in our care and balancing of the water. This review is past due, as I had a wonderful experience with the Johnson City RecDirect folks a few months ago when we first bought our hot tub.Here is our story:Upon delivery of our hot tub, it didnt work :( We were so disappointed. With all of the excitement of delivery, we were ready to get in and enjoy. Well, we called and were told that it was the electrician that was at fault. We had the electrician come out and check and he said it was RecDirects fault. Either way, I didnt care who was at fault--I just wanted it fixed. Our electrician wouldnt budge on his end. After speaking to multiple people at RecDirect-they said they would overlook normal protocol and come out to our house THAT NIGHT and see if it was the product that was at fault. We live in Boone, NC and this was a 1 hour and 45 minute drive for their technician!! Upon arrival, it was determined that there was some little piece in guts of the motherboard that was bent. He replaced the WHOLE motherboard and the hot tub immediately worked upon turning it back on. We can only assume that it happened during the delivery process as all hot tubs are tested before they leave the warehouse. Whatever the case--Im just thrilled to have it fixed.I can not say enough about the customer service that we received from RecDirect-- Johnson City-TN. These men took care of us and made sure that we were satisfied with the product that they supplied.Months later, our hot tub is working very well and we couldnt be happier with our choice! Great group of guys and great product.Thank you Lewis and crew for going out of your way to make sure we were happy and taken care of.

I ordered a hot tub July 19th 2019 and was told it would take three to five weeks its still not in Im getting no updates from the facility I bought it from and they continue to blame corporate. September 13th will be 8 weeks which is unacceptable. If its going to take a while they should have just told us. Had to reschedule my hot tub party twice based off their inability to deliver.

We bought our Lifestyle X6 from Jason in Chattanooga. We had some frustrations during set up, but they were a result of site prep and improper wiring by our electrician. Our wiring issue fried a pump in the first 24 hours. Jason came up, it was 20 degrees and snowing, and worked with us for a couple hours to get our wiring problem corrected and then replaced our pump for a price that blew my mind. The problem was our responsibility but he more than met us half way. Jason went above and beyond and to this point we are more than happy customers.

I purchased a Laguna Bay Spa X3 with the optional saltwater system (an extra $399+tax)had to use regular spa chemicals since as I was not about to drop another $400 dollars on something that they themselves said was notorious for breaking. Since then the heater motor has gone bad twice, in less than a year.I would NEVER, EVER buy another spa from this outfit, nor would I recommend them to anyone else. Not worth the aggravation.

This is the worst experience ever, customer service is terrible, they never call you back and when you do talk to someone they just tell you a fib so you will quit calling, I will never order anything through them again

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BUY A HOT TUB FROM THIS COMPANY UNTIL YOU READ THIS REVIEW! I purchased a Laguna Bay x-6 and bought everything JASON recommended i BOUGHT CHEMICALS THE START UP KIT A LID LIFTER FILTERS A HOT TUB LID. After 1 month heater stopped working and board jets light music system- panels broke etc. I had a repair man here at least 6 times. They never could install the lid lifter because they kept breaking the panels and they would not take it back. Very poor customer service. Lid started sagging after 3 months. Jason from Chattanooga and Brian manager will not stand by product. You can order your own parts and replace yourself- really. You are not allowed to speak or even contact the owner. I was told he doesnt deal with customers. Of course he doesnt because they sale a poor product. 5500 later i have a really pretty tub that doesnt work and i am told will take another 1000 to 1500 to fix. BUY FROM SOMEONE ELSE. These hot tubs are either reconditioned or factory defects or seconds. Very pretty but poor poor quality and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Frustrated in Seymour Part 2 : I emailed the rec direct owner and i just received a phone call from Brian letting me know they will cover parts if i cover service fee- i feel this is fair and we agreed- now waiting for Jason to set a time for the repair. I will add to my post after repairs completed- still rating poor a star because this has been a very bad experience. However if they make it right i will as well- now hopeful part 3- my service man came out on Sat promptly and fixed only the heater and board- which i was thankful for- i will order the non working jets and get my husband to install - we were only charged a service fee of 175- they paid for the 2 parts which i was told are costly- however- after you buy they do not consider you a customer anylonger. BEWARE- again i would never recommend or purchase again- i feel they fixed my issue but did the bare minimum- but i am thankful for that- i hear the heaters go out a lot- good luck if you have already purchased - if not keep looking
