This is the best store for spirits. They have an incredible selection and you can usually get anything ordered that may not be in stock. My spirit of choice is Scotch, and they do not disappoint.

Love this place. Staff are kind and supportive. Their bottle picks are the best around. If I don’t find the rare bottle of bourbon I’m trying to find, they’re quick to give me a box of tissues and wish me good luck. Been loving this place for 5 years. Here’s to five more

Wow......so very helpful!!! They were knowledgeable about whiskeys and bourbons....cheaper than Northside too! (North side’s owner is also a jerk...instructed the staff to harangue and belittle customers who CHOOSE not to wear a mask). 🙄 We’ll be back, for sure. 🇺🇸

My one-and-only favorite liquor store. They have any and everything that I could ever need plus they always and I do mean always have the absolute best prices anywhere in town especially for those bottles that are bigger than normal. Not to mention unlike most other places they are so unbelievably helpful. They will help you find any and everything you need and will literally spend their entire shopping visit with you trying to help you

The best selection in town, they have a wide variety of options and sizes of bottles. They have great customer service. The prices are higher than other stores but the customer service and selection makes up for that in every way.

Virtually every time Ive gotten beer from their fridge it ended up being horribly out of date and skunky. Not to mention all the beer sitting out that stays forever well past a date where its good. Not much point in having a selection if a lot of its gone bad. They also price most stuff way higher compared to other places.

We walked in not knowing what to expect and were very impressed. They had a great beer selection and even had 10 or so taps from which you could sample interesting beers. They also had a nice selection of wines and liquors. The employees were very helpful!

Universal Wine & Spirits has an excellent selection of spirits, wine, and beer with the friendliest most informative employees around! My love is bourbon and they have all my favorite labels and more. It is so worth my 1.5 hour drive to get there from Waynesville, NC. Check them out, youll see!

They sold my wife a case of last years seasonal beer (Southern Tiers Warlock) by lying to her and saying that it was what they just received (I called the brewery and they dont ship beer thats over a year old). It is this kind of dishonesty that is really disappointing and ensures that I will never go here again. If you buy from them make sure that you check bottling dates, there is a really good chance that you could save yourself an expensive mistake.

Good wine selection, okay spirits selection, some beer on the shelves can be a good bit past the best by dates (doesnt hurt it, its just not in its prime,) they never call back if theyre supposed to check about ordering something for you. I usually prefer to go elsewhere.
