This seems to be one of the few Starbucks that actually makes the drink and doesnt have it spilling everywhere. Not sure whats wrong with the one closest to me but they always serve drinks with it spilling all over. I like the variety of drinks they have or what you can build.

Line was super long, but that is to be expected at 8am. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, they were out of the ham and cheese panini. The barista offered the ham and cheese croissant as a substitute, but then couldnt ring it up? She said they were having technical difficulties. Instead of coming up with an alternative solution when the food was available, it just wasnt an option to purchase. I cant eat items that have touched egg and was very disappointed that somehow both of these options were unavailable. The barista also didnt offer anything (free drink, $5 gift card, etc) for the inconvenience. Only giving two stars because the drinks we ordered were still good.Sincerely - 8 Months Pregnant, Hungry, and Disappointed

Very poor setup for drive through as with getting my drink order wrong.

Love the app to pre-order and my coffee is always ready when I swing by early in the morning omw to work and love the constant rewards. Nikki has been awesome at the register, shes very patient with my long order and has my creamer and sugar ready once she sees me walk in on the days we sit and enjoy our breakfast.

20 minutes in the drive through and the guy at the window held my drink from me because he could clearly tell I was irritated by the wait time. Never again!

Make the best drinks

Great service, products, and staff. Weve been here frequently and were always pretty satisfied.That said the location is awful. Good luck figuring out how to crawl into the lot if youre heading east on North Park towards 86th. The parking situation is beyond inadequate. The drive thru is dreadful and easily overflows in 3 directions when its busy. We have always thought its worth it though ☺️

Such poor organizational skills. I decided to go in today and not drive thru. They pull new mobile orders first, process those then work backwards on the people who had ordered and waiting in the lobby. So if you want your order fast, then I guess order through mobile service, dont go in the lobby or just make your own at home.

Googl said that the store is open until 9:00, but the manager refused to sell me coffee. I’m very angry 😡😡😡

The expresso was good but the girl who took my order obviously was not the best listener. Because my icced drink I asked for and the litteral expresso and milk I got were two very different things.

Every drink at starbucks is amazing! I particularly love their refreshers during the summer and every flavor of Frappuccino.

I usually don’t like to put the bad reviews on any store since I’m working at the restaurant. But this morning I was there and picked up my order, I asked if I can have just little bit more cream and there was elderly Asian lady was like cuz you asked for light on cream. I explained to her I know that but the drink looks so dark, I can tell its gonna taste bitter. I also told her they did my drink differently sometimes it tastes more like milk and sometimes it tastes more Like coffee. I paid for the drink so I want it tastes how I want it to be. I ordered the same drink for hundred of time and every times it tastes differently. This is not first time I had a bad experience with her being rude and tried to correct me. I forgot to look at her name but next time I will.

It was weird. People were walking like minions getting their gruel. Staff was nice. Coworkers were for nice to eachother. They all had a rough night drinking so I will give them a bye in that it took 20 min for a latte. They were bizzy and pulling hair. But coffee was good. Weird location in a strip mall next to a bank. No parking really. Drive through takes forever.

Went through the drive through for a venti (large) sized coffee and noticed it felt really light when they handed it over. Got home and opened the lid to check how much coffee was in there before I drank it and it was barely halfway full. The amount of coffee they gave me couldve fit in a tall (small) sized cup. Very disappointed.

Good coffee. Service was ok. One lady had it together and another lady did not. No judgement but I wish I wouldve know my order had been ready 5 minutes before I got it. 🤷

The cinnamon shortbread frappuccino is very tasty. The location is convenient and has a decent amount of parking. I dont know that Ive ever had trouble finding a spot though occasionally finding seating can be a challenge if a large group comes in after a meeting nearby.

The employees are always friendly, there is always something knew to try and the rewards program is awesome. I love going here to get a drink for my mom and being able to mix it up nearly every time and still make her happy.

Typical Starbucks drive thru experience. Order was correct and was finished in average time. I would go here again if Im in the mood for overpriced coffee.

Very nice, courteous and helpful. Was asking about the different kinds of refresher drinks, etc. for my mom that was with me and the gal mentioned she like the Mango dragon fruit w/lemonade & rasberry. I asked if my mom could try a sample and she gave us some to taste...VERY GOOD! Also good to recommend other drinks I asked about and showed me where they had discounted items when I was looking around.

My order has been lost multiple times at this location. Today I ordered ahead on the app and my order said it was ready, it wasn’t. I sat there for 15 min. My drink was finally done but I continued to sit there for my food order for another 15 min after I finally asked. Come to find out the food I ordered they were out of but didn’t bother to say anything. They asked what I wanted instead I waited for that and they didn’t even apologize for the poor service. Very poorly ran.

Latte taste burnt and bitter. Don’t clean milk steamers after each cup, milk is overheated

It was Starbucks, nothing special, nothing great. Just a good location to get coffee and shoot the breeze. Staff was friendly and location was clean.

Fast and friendly service. I went there on a Saturday morning and they were crazy busy. I have to applaud the workers here for how fast and efficient they are. Especially having to deal with a drive through, while inside I saw a man taking orders on a headset while making someone elses order which really looked difficult. The store was clean, and large enough that I didnt feel crowded even with how packed the shop was. I love the options for food and drink, its a great breakfast or lunch place if you dont mind a short wait.

Constant Flies. Ive been coming here for 4+ years. The remodel looks great. However, every time I have ever come here - fun, meetings, remote work - there are always fruit flies or gnat like flies. Every time. I should go somewhere else...

Nicely located and busy store but service is always efficient and orders are almost always done correctly. The drive thru is typically unbelievably busy (even though if people just went inside they would more than likely get their order in half the time). Staff is quite friendly considering what they are asked to do. And one of the baristas looks oddly similar to Clark Kent.Will visit again.

The driver thru had about 5-6 cars so i just went inside. I ordered at 850 and didnt get back into my car until 911. I think 5-10 minutes is fine but definitely not 20 minutes. There were plenty of employees working maybe mine just got skipped a couple times. I will just stay in the drive thru from now on.

Very very upset about my experience today at Starbucks. I am a regular at this location and so is my SO, today while on lunch I placed a online order through their app I went into the store like I normally do to pick it up, I waited for about 10 minutes before someone finally asked what it is I’m waiting on, I tell them. He begins to go about his business didn’t say anything to me after that. Then another 5-7 minutes goes by and I ask how much longer it will be. He then processed to tell me he never got anything in through the app. I looked it up and he’s correct it didn’t go through for whatever reason I’m not sure.What I am most upset about is the fact that the fist time he asked me what I was waiting on he could of politely told me nothing came through and I would of reorder my coffee. But instead I had waited 20 minutes inside for nothing. Then he didn’t even offer to make me one and have me pay for it. Not sure if I’ll ever be waisting my money at this location again.

There needs to be negative stars this nasty lady with green hair and strong bad attitude messed up our drinks then was really rude and had us waiting a long time and was again very rude when said the other drink was made incorrect. Learn how to have better customer service and deal with mistakes you have made. Losing customers shouldnt be something you are okay with.

I go to star bucks maybe twice a week, this time I was near this one so I went thru the drive thru and I always order Venti single shot hazel nut/vanilla coconut milk latte. The lady said oh you want French vanilla latte, I said yes that what I want. I use to order French vanilla and no one knew what I was talking about. The employee said girl I got this for you. It was a great experience, at this location they know their coffee.

The place was packed. Lots of people waiting for their orders. But the wait did not take long. We had at least 8 to 10 people ingront if us. And we were in and out what seemed in just mins. Very friendly!

I go here a lot simply because its close to my work and my house. Usually its great, but lately its been really hit or miss on the accuracy of my app orders. I always ask for a breve (half & half), and only about 50% of my drinks have it. Usually they just put milk in it. Today I got a vanilla blonde latte and its literally just the espresso and milk. They completely forgot the vanilla. :( Also ordered an Americano with cream and its just black. Ill still drink it, but if Im paying $4-6 for my drink I expect it to be made correctly.

Good strong coffee. The way I feel its meant to be. Their coffee straight-up black is not for the sick, lame, or lazy.

My partner and I ordered two matcha lattes at this Starbucks and they handed us our drinks which turned out to be globs of matcha powder floating in ice and milk....do they not know it should be blended before the ice or do they not care? Im not going back to find out.

Ordered a venti Java chip frappacino add peppermint and extra Java chips. Only 1 car ahead of me, it tasted like chocolate. No Java chips none extra, peppermint tasted like they put it in the cup then put the rest in on top of it, more like an afterthought. I will not go back to that Starbucks. Worst drink I have ever had. This is my normal order.

I stop here anytime I am heading West on I-80 in Des Moines. It is easy to exit on 86th Street and drive North to the first stop light and turn into the parking lot. I can get my coffee and drive right back onto the entrance ramp. There are lots of tables and chairs inside. There is an outside patio seating area for nice, sunny days. The service is fast and friendly. The coffee and mixed drinks are up to Starbucks high standards. I always get Pike blend coffee in my grande Starbucks steel cup and collect stars for the free rewards. I frequently go to other various other coffee shops but Starbucks is still my favorite.

I have been to this location a few times and have never had a pleasant experience here. However today was even more iritating then normal. I came in to the store today to get ONE carmel frappachino and was extreamly disappointed. It was 5pm and the store was vacant both in store and drive thru. When I stood at the counter there was a worker named Katie who saw me standing there and ignored me to go continue a conversation with her coworkers. She finally came over to take my order and I had to wait over 5 minutes for my simple order. To make it worse, there were 6 young people working behind the counter and the whole time I was waiting, they were all leaning on the counters drinking and eating food in the bar area and gossiping to one another not doing any actual work. I went through all us this to receive not even a mediocre drink that wasn’t even filled fully. Don’t waste your time here, there are better starbucks in the area or go to Scooters. Won’t be returning.

Typically go through the drive thru and every time the workers take beyond way too long to get out drinks and other orders. I just sat at the window waiting for my drink and sandwich for 20 minutes when it was already done. The workers did no apologies whatsoever for there slow work!! By the time I left the drive thru long was three times as long! Never again! Those ladies need to pick up the pace and get their stuff in order!! Ridiculous!

However, there are some licensed stores (like those inside grocery stores) that will not be participating at all so please check with your barista.

While the drive thru can be a little hectic, and the design of the strip mall is not conducive to a long line, the staff at this Starbucks is consistently friendly, energetic, and accurate.

Staff is very friendly & efficient; store is a clean, spacious & comfortable atmosphere.
