Book and Bean Cafe is a treasure housed within the Joliet Public Librarys Black Road Branch. I thought it was simply a coffee shop but was pleased to learn they have a broad menu of food items and baked treats. Theres a childrens menu too, and puzzles and games for children to play with in the cafe. I had the tomato tortellini soup with a grilled cheese and it was delicious. I look forward to returning!

Tammy will hook you up with the best latte, frappe, iced it hot coffee, tea or protein shake. Any drink you have here will be a thousand times better than anywhere else. Fresh homemade soups will warm your soul and sandwiches, paninis and fresh baked desserts will feed you belly.. its worth your time to make yourself happy ps. Bonus is to sigh up for one of the many paint nights monthly

Lattes and cappuccinos were good, but a bit sweet for my taste. Will return and ask they not make it so sweet. The place is very nice and quiet able to have a nice conversation. They do offer food. I will definitely return to try some, and recommend you stop by amd give it a try.

I love this place dearly, and come as often as I can. The food is fabulous, and its a delightful place to curl up with some tea or coffee and read, or make art, or have a great conversation.

Visiting the Black Street library in Joliet is a treat because of this cafe. Ive enjoyed some fun times with my kiddos here after weve visited the library.

This is my favorite coffee spot. The food is excellent, and the drinks extroidinary. I always look forward to seeing what new food and drinks they have on the menu. Always cooking up something new and exciting.

My daughter and I love this place! There is a wide variety of food for kids and adults. Everything is always delicious. Every couple of weeks when we have library books due, we look forward to our lunch date.

Love bringing the kids here to grab a snack and a smoothie. They have plenty of board games to choose from and staff is very friendly. We stop in every time we visit the library.

Tami the owner is very friendly. She bakes and cooks the food on site. Thats as fresh as fresh can be. Love the scones she bakes and Chia Tea Latte. Attached to Joliet library located off of Black Rd. Grab your coffee and then read a good book. Perfectly located for this book nerd 😊

I went to the Post Ofc. Its okay for a small town, whats really nice is the Post Office, AVM, a fitness place, Dunkin Donuts, Berkots and a few other places all in the same Mall or around the corner. All easy to find.

Quiet spot I discovered by accident this will be my new hang out. It is located inside Joliet library. Serves fresh muffins, many tea flavors, chai, and coffee. Fresh Wi-Fi. Friendly staff. Great pricing. Good amount of Seating.
