This is the place to find new and gently used furniture, building supplies and home goods at rock bottom prices. The showroom rivals some higher end stores. The staff are always friendly and professional.
I like stopping here once in a while. They have great furniture items at excellent prices as well as building materials.
I was excited to shop here - ive shopped the Restore by Fox Valley Mall in Aurora, and it is heavily skewed toward building supply type things. The Joliet Restore has tons of furniture! They pick up things from La-Z-Boy and RoomPlace, I was told. Bought a couch for $160 that came from RoomPlace - I found it on their website for $899. It has some scratches on the wood at the bottom, and the seat is definitely not puffy any more, but it works for what I need! Now I just need to paint the walls....
What a DEAL! - Everyone wants a deal - and we found one at the ReStore! We shop here often (nice, helpful people) but really got lucky one day. We had just moved and were looking for a lamp - but we happened to see these fabulous looking couches. After checking them out and discovering that they were BRAND NEW and not a hand-me-down, we bought one! It was exciting! They have a deal with a local distributor to resale online orders that werent accepted. Bad for the online buyer - good for us! AND they referred someone to handle the delivery -Charles- who couldnt have been better; which also scored a 10% discount for taking the large item right off the floor (THAT covered the delivery cost - double WOW!) We also found out you can shop online as well EXCELLENT discovery!
Really nice store. Even the mens bathroom is beautiful and open for use. Very well organized and the younger Lady at the register with the great comb over bangs was super nice and truly a delight today. Excellent job guys keep up the good work!!!
Can find the useful odds and ends, but... Prices are towards the high side (considering condition of items) and not negotiable.
Filled out online form to donate furniture..included photos. Received email request for photos. Sent all the photos via email. Then....crickets. Tried calling, phone not answered during business hours.
This is a really nice store, organized, with a really wonderful staff. I have bought many things here and always pop in to see what they may have this week. I also like the online buying option!
Well organized store. Variety of selection to shop with. Thank you.
Bought several pieces of furniture here, great value
I love this place. It is hit or miss. If you see it and like it buy it an hour later it might be gone. Always a pleasure to see what is there and the proceeds from your donations or purchases go to a good cause. The employees are very courteous and helpful.
Nice people good selection awesome place for random furniture
Great looking store inside and out. Very clean and well stocked. The staff is very friendly!!
Purchased leather reclining couch online. Went to store to pickup. Very smooth and quick process. Great customer service, staff was super friendly. They helped us load the couch into van. Highly recommend. Ill definitely be back!
The prices are extraordinary! They are just now blessed with Wayfair dents and dings items by the TRUCKLOADS (guess whos rarely shopping Wayfair without running by HfH first!) From sofas to easy chairs, dining tables and chairs (minus the dining tables) to gorgeous lights - you can - and I am - furnish an entire home. There are also building supplies for the DIYers and conscientious handy helpers in your life.Drop off/pick up hours now 9 to 4. Doors open 9 to 5:30. Sadly closed Mondays. God bless Jimmy Carter and the various owners throughout the country!
Great Selection on Selected used Home Rehab items. THANK YOU RESTORE Great Job!
The best furniture store Ive ever been to in my entire life. Great prices and deals. I live in Chicago but Chicago furniture stores could never outmatch this
Everything from small decorating items, building supplies to big furniture. We always find interesting things here for up cycling while we support the Habitat for Humanity cause. The staff is awesome! They are friendly and will help you load up your bargains if you need an extra hand. The stock changes daily, so stop by often and see what deals you can find for yourself!
Very neat, clean and upscale.
Hit or miss... Get there early if you want the good stuff. There are a lot of resale people that rake things over first thing.

The store is only open until 5:30, so its difficult for me to get there when I get off work at 5. Walked in today at 5:20 and was greeted with just so you know, we close in 5 minutes. So I know exactly what I want, but Im getting the vibe they dont really care about my business. Hopefully they still have the chairs I want next time I can make it in.
Was provided with a gracious amount of help moving my furniture into my new home and I am very thankful for the donation would of been spending quite an amount otherwise 💰 I really am feeling blessed for the charitable donation thanks again and Lord Bless. 🙏
Great customer service reasonable prices
Wasnt what I expected when I went in there trying to give a newer donationI felt many things overpriced such as ripped leather recliner right in middle top seat $249...not sure who would pay such $ for item such as that!
Found 2 reasonable priced bookcases for a organization project
I visit the new Restore and it is wonderful. Found exactly what we were looking for to finish our chicken coop project. Their furniture selection was fantastic! Modern and clean.
Helpful and friendly staff but they have so much stuff shoved in there some things are priced way wrong, Im sorry but why is a white couch with a pink stain $200? Some good finds yes sometimes but it is aggravating to have to shop by price tag instead of by items at a place like this.
A hit & miss...I’ve visited this location more than 150 times in the past 2 years... here’s my review:I know it’s a 100% donated stocked store however, it’s seems to me that the prices are constantly getting higher & the selections are getting fewer & fewer. For example.. 2 years ago you needed a full day to REALLY see all the assortment of items they had... now it take 10 minutes. For example.. 2 years ago you could buy a BRAND NEW 2 seat LazyBoy for $250 bucks...Now they start at $450 if you’re lucky.I know it’s a lazy boy... & I know they’re expensive... the problem I have is that someone came in & whispered in the bosses ear & said “hey, we could get more for this stuff” & he must have agreed... because now the place is full of Lazy Boys... & that whisper totally ruined the place.
New location is really nice, but the prices seem to have really climbed. Staff is always helpful as usual.
Great store, loaded with reasonably priced furniture as well as other home items. Nice friendly staff. Worth the trip
This store has many different types of home improvement items. Its supports such a good cause, helping people get affordable housing. If you need cabinet pulls, cabinets, floors, rugs, tables and chairs or anything else for your home. You should come here first. Prices are great and they have it all.
Great selection of furniture, lamps, paint and house hold items at outstanding prices. The folks that work there are knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoy shopping here.
Staff is very helpful!
When Habitat for Humanity just opened it was very nice because they had used furniture for the home or fixer-upper projects to work on with reasonable prices. Now ever since they open their new store they have the same type of used broken down scratched up furniture but had skyrocketed their prices. Absolutely ridiculous. So if you are trying to find decent furniture for a decent price I highly recommend New Uses in Crest Hill it is located in the shopping center near Disc Replay.
Nicely set up store. Spacious with some new furnishings for sale also. Although some of the items a bit overpriced, but you can still find a few good bargains.
I like coming in weekly. There is always something new. Today found a great headboard that I will use as a staging table. Just what I needed.
Items that are used or left over from construction..I was looking for a work bench for my basement and found a cabinet missing 1 door that fits my top I had for it. Some nice used pieces.
I felt they were overpriced.Went looking for an end table, they wanted $75 & $100 for used, scratch table. Some were more than new ones at Bobs Discount. I thought this was supposed to be low priced items.
Had lot of nice furniture an reasonable prices
Great finds. Staff is always available to answer questions
Found a good recliner for my husband at a really good price. Good place to happen upon good finds.
A little more pricey than I thought
Nice place
Wonderful people, great mission. Havent been into the new location yet, but I am happy they are open more hours now.
My mom found a mirror here on our trip. Prices are reasonable.
They get lots of donations from Wayfair. Good quality furniture for less.
I cant tell you how much I love this place! They moved to a new fantactic location since the last time I was there. It is a beautiful new store. They have so many awesome things there and great prices. They have items from Wayfair and brand new couches and recliners. I fill my car everytime. And best part is that it is for a great cause!
I appreciate the cause so I try and visit here frequently and always leave with something. Lots of junk but occasionally a good high-quality piece can be found
They have gone insane on pricing. Most used items are priced more than you can buy it new. Should have not re located. Wont last long. In and out in 2 minutes
Many good recycled and used items. Great prices. Great for contractor or homeowners.
This store has so much to offer with a low price
Excellent customer service and the majority of household items and furniture available to purchase were in great shape. A fun place to start thinking of a new DIY project for cheap, plus your donation makes a difference to the community
Less stuff then older location but better selection.
What a great place to find gently used furniture and household items and help charity at the same time.
Great for thrifting. Ive gotten several gently loved and new items from here.
Basically comes down to if you wanna catch fleas or not at the same price of catching no fleas
Good opportunity to refurbish a item and a good opportunity to buy a quality item for a reasonable price
Find some nice things. (Prices seem to be going higher!)
A place where the no longer needed is given a second chance for a new life with a new owner.
Nice people; great way to support our community-donate & shop
Great selection of furniture and construction materials at reasonable prices!
Love this place..not a great location to find tho
The new store is pretty nice. Wish they had a little more of the construction tools though.
Great prices on decent new and used goods.
Great place, excellent selection, prices are reasonable, and the quality of the merchandise is amazing
So happy I came in to the store. I can save up and get furniture I need
I got an outside Patio set for a good price.

Great place with lots of treasures
Great prices and a great cause. Friendly.
Some okay deals, some stuff seemed pricey.
Not what I was expecting but fair prices. Check out girl wasnt every friendly.
Great deals awesome cause
Great place to shop for bargains
Furniture is over priced for a second hand shop. Most of the furniture you can buy new for the same price that they have.
Many choices with great prices
No one to help you.
The prices were to high for broken furniture I give them about 6 months and they will be closed
Decent selection. Prices can be somewhat high.
Really good place.
5 stars
Odds and ends to help you around the house if you dont have too much money this is the place to go check it out and see if they have it
